Templar just rushes in and dies, the enchantress atleast gives you an armor buff and the 3% attack speed is nice when she's alive, granted that's not often.

Regarding LoH, nearly every spell triggers LoH, there's a detailed list about the coefficients of the procc on the us forums: http://us.battle.net...49154265?page=1 .

Armor buff seems to stay on when she's down?

posted a message on Hit detection broken, dodging impossible
This thread needs to be locked. At this point you're just trolling.

Blizzard has patched the hit detection issues on flies are gone completely, and they've acknowledged that that's how this game is designed. Melee procs at a certain range and gets one chance to attack you. If you move away, they don't get a second chance. They always get one. That's the game, if you don't like it, fuck off, because there's nothing anybody here can do and nothing that will ever get done about it. That's how this game plays.

Why you're still here, crying about nothing for changes that will never happen; instead of just fucking playing Torchlight II (since that's exactly what you describe as "right") is a fucking mystery to me.

I hope we get to use our actual gear. This would be inline with the game not being an esport and not being about balance. Some item builds will be so good they'll dominate. I think that's what Blizz is going to do, because it's in line with classic Diablo PVP (which was never anything near "fair") and they will probably not alienate us in this way.

We want to fight our characters whose only defining traits are their magic pants.

If there is separate PVP gear in an attempt at fairness, I'll quit. I would rather lose a dozen times in a row to incredible enemies than play some watered down game.

On the other hand, some builds surfacing seem to make separate gears inevitable. Perma-stun WD for example.

I would like to point out that I think SC2 was terrible and very sad I have to pay for it 3 times to see the story line. I think Blizzard isn't as great as they once were, but businesses, people, and targeted gaming demographics tend to change over 15 years. Still enjoying D3 and the first response post said it all, it's not an MMO people will stop playing. People have no simple understand of logic these days.

Okay then I think you're a child with no perspective on development costs or income whatsoever. Paying $60 then $40 nearly two yearls later isn't very much money if you, you know, have a job.

You want 300 hours of entertainment instead of 100 for $60. That's just spoiled.

Yeah, I don't see why any of the Diablos were popular. Or a lot of games for that matter.

Maybe? I think they've already nerfed the life on hit from tornado hits from what I've seen on the forums. I'm not sure whether they'll nerf fury from tornado crits as well or not though. Blizzard has said in the past that they're ok with letting people feel like they are breaking the game a little, particularly regarding resource generation as long as they aren't actually breaking the game. I guess that's just a convoluted way of saying I don't know. Sorry. :)

I was running with a very well built tornado barb earlier and it definitely didn't seem nerf-worthy, maybe it does if you haven't ever seen the Arcane Dynamo build with well-geared wizards face-rolling everything with infinite crystal armor.

    Look at the WoW graph.

Steadily increasing since May 16th. lol

Probably because they are promoting wow pandaria as we speak.

There have been whispers of a new Blizz MMO, too.

#2 I guess we're ignoring where I said "Aside from SC2" but since you insist on bringing it up I do have a gripe. SC1 had all campaigns included. SC2? Oh hell no, let's milk the customers for all we can!

That's just plain uninformed. The campaign was longer than the original (sans expansion) and allowed you to play two races. The expansions are going to be each as long as the original campaign, and the entire box is going to end up with well over double the content of the original game with the expand included. Also, the entire original game has been dutifully and faithfully recreated, so you've got all that, too; plus well over 100 popular custom games, FFA, VS, and bot matches.

Obvious not milking for anything. If you thing legitimately releasing expansion packs is "milking" you should go look at what EA is doing with Battlefield 3.

Should just lock these types of threads... You can't tell anyone the game is bad on a diablo fans website mk?

There are bad things about the game.

There are bad things about every game.

Blizz has a good track record of improving their games after release. See Starcraft II.

In addition, Xfire blows and the demographic still using it are complete retards considering Steam / Vent / TS or whatever would be better in essentially every way. Xfire users would have exceptionally short attention spans because they're primarily kids who can't afford a pay service and/or aren't allowed to have Steam.

I don't care if I'm one of 10 people left in the world playing D3. If there is a server online, I'll be playing it. You kids can keep on moving to games that promote your short attention spans.

I agree, it's a lot of fun. I've been waiting for something really intricate for a long time.

I'm a2 inferno viable if you ever want a teammate.

posted a message on Decoy based Wizard build - Mirror Image + Teleport Fracture + Illusionist
I love how everybody re-posts this like it's their original super unique flower build or something when in truth it's one of the most obvious setups out there.

Now, you want to talk arcane dynamo...

Anyway to the people saying wormhole / sparkflint builds or whatever are better for "getting you out of trouble" aren't doing it right.

You're missing the point. Illusionist build is all about staying in trouble, on purpose. In an A2 party I run right next to the tank unless we hit a set of champs that will burn me, and use health regeneration + potions + 1/4 total hp per globe(!) to recharge. I keep the illusions coming constantly.

    All res over 480, 33Khp, 30K damage. Charged blast / venom / unrelenting / prismatic / dupes & split.

My mirages continually tank damage for the melee characters, and hold enemies in place of venom pools. They also proc enemy windup attacks, wasting them. They can take three hits from weak enemies, and a big part of what they do is catch arrows mitigating ranged damage. The unrelenting storm gives me more time to fit in more charged blasts, running those at 30% crit chance / 1.6 as / 142% crit.

I often deliberately damage myself for another set of 7 mirages. I also used to have 36k hp, but dropped 3K on purpose because the threshold for triggering my build felt too high.

I doubt they would nerf that considering the risk of 6 champs packs in that small of an area. YOu can't kite or you'll be doomed.

posted a message on Act 2 full clears starting from Magdha!
    Quote from Nimo

I am looking for a very consistent group to full clear act 2 multiple times a day.

I am looking for one barbarian. (No throw barbarians please, defeats the purpose :P) Or one tank specced monk (However I am unfamiliar with monks so you'll have to help me synergize)

I am looking for one Melee or Archon wizard 30k+ Damage please :D

And there is a third spot available for any class that can put out a good amount of damage efficiently and effectively.

Groups of friends are of course welcome!

For anyone interested I would like to see a post-nerf Belial kill (showing you understand how the enrage timer works) and post-nerf Kulle kill (showing you understand his new teleport mechanic)

I also request 150% base MF when farming and as much as you want for gear switching (if you can do it)

    Battletag: Nimo#1745

Please when befriending include the nature of the request :D

That is all hope to get some nice partners

posted a message on Hidden %life bonus cap!
1.) I realize my %life bonus is retarded. It fell in my lap, I didn't pay for it.

2.) There appears to be a %life max bonus cap.

3.) Leaving for work, made thread real fast. Interested in any thoughts. Will get back to you in ~6 hours.

4.) I discovered this while trying to do the math to figure out how much VIT I should shoot for when dropping certain pieces that have both VIT and %life on them, I have 4 pieces giving %life and VIT both.

    -4721 is base wiz hp
    -595 vit
    -52% bonus life

No buffs, no follower, standing in town.

    HP = (4721 + (595 * 35))(1.52)

    (4,721 + 20,825)(1.52) = 38,829

    Current HP = 32,074

    Can anyone explain this?
