posted a message on To co-op or not to co-op?
    Quote from aikiuk

I will play co op but probably only with one of my friends, for the most part ill be playing away all by myself destroying demons.

The major part of co op for me will be achievement hunting and playing the hours away while chatting on skype. I am a little worried about Inferno difficulty etc not sure if it will be completely soloable.

Anyone know any info on this?

bliz said they planned inferno in a way that it's soloable, but not a walk in the park.

I'm fine with either. Originally I expected to be playing solo, because none of the people I surround myself with match my interest in diablo (most of them played D2 just a little bit). However, my enduring diehard enthusiasm for D3 seems to have seeped into their minds like Mephisto's hatred seeped into Travincal, and we're currently planning a launch LAN party :D

i am all for lan parties, but if u didn't know yet bliz said there won't be a lan option - however if u meant lan party as having friends over each with their computer and playing together through the internet. than my bad :) and go for it!

as for the main topic here: i am planning to go solo till some1 of my friends r online and if they want i will play with them - as for me the best experience is co-op and skill "synergy" with the other players.
however in most cases when it comes to co-op u can't fully experience the story and lore, cuz it takes time - so i will be going through the story with some of my chars as solo.
ofc if i see i am out lvling my friend or vice versa i will adjust accordingly rather if i open a new char or i will ask my friend to open a new 1. or join with more or less same lvl char.
and when it comes to play with strangers i must likely will do that after i have a more hold on how the game goes and how my class work. cuz even if i will meet some less social and friendly ppl i will sure meet some who r social and friendly ppl non the less.

as for personal advantage on co-op and not for the playstyle experience - if u join a grp of ppl which r rly good than the killing goes faster and u have more item drops each hour. so thats also a good thing about co-op.

    best regards,

posted a message on Discussion on multiplayer "ethics" and good team play
i don't know much about how grp works when it comes to items and MF. but i think the MF of 1 person affects all 4 players when it comes to loot so having a MF in grp can be beneficial to all grp even if he have less dmg - cuz most ppl r looking for better items so it's a win win situation.
however if thats not the situation - i believe most grp will expect all team members to help the killing and fast pace movement as possible, rather it's from all party buffs, healing others with skills or the obvious good dmg dealing. and if ur fighting somewhere else or staying in town will be a deal breaker in most cases. however i believe there will be also ppl from the corners of the scale but alot less - and those ppl will expect u either to change ur build according to their build for optimal strategic gamestyle or on the other hand let u do what u will rather it's what kind of build u play or where ur fighting and playing in the map.

so imho these r the kind of expectations u will encounter, so u can decide rather u like this or not and just leave if it doesn't fits ur interests.

as for ninjaing thank god bliz give a personal item table loots so it won't be hell on earth ( or in hell :P) like in d2 when every1 can see all the loot and fastest clicker wins the loot which is absord imo. so on that matter u r fine. however 1 thing came to mind is that alot of ppl might not like the fact that u r so better and faster than them that u start an event or boss before they half way there them selves - so keep that 1 in mind also.

don't have anymore thoughts on the subject - hopefully i helped the discussion.

best of luck and hopefully we will meet in game,

posted a message on Creating your class build - What to look out for
    hi mecca,

first of all, there is the co-op game play and solo game play - secondly 1 of the best things bliz said we will do is situational build which means through 1 act u might make about 2-3 builds according the mobs u need to pass and the envirment( my speculations , but not sure), as for i didn't play the game yet i can't know for sure which build i want to aim at. my choice of builds will be according to my experince in diablo2(which might not be relievnt cuz d3 is considered diffrent from d2). ofcourse i will adjust my build according to the needs of the party i play with.
so my current build will have some skills that help the grp but it's mostly for solo play style. as much as 6 buttons r not much i don't want to spam all of them all the time so i will look for some long duratiuon spells with passive buffs/dmg.
secondly i think a pet is always useful to split the dmg or even "tank" for u abit so i will try always to have some kind of ally spell or familiar.
ofc i will try to have some kind of heal rathier it will be "life steal", side affect heal or direct heal. if we r talking about resource genertaing skills like the monk barb and DH,
i will suggest a generter skill with the obvois spender skill and not count on items that gives resource regan or some kind of side affect of the skill spender- as a main resource regan skill.
and an obvious dmg dealer spell in 1 way or the other - most of the time u will fight a grp of mobs, so i suggest a first priorty is an aoe dmg dealer and second 1 as single target massive dmg (for bosses and stuff) - and also have atleast 2 different kind of dmg(for example: fire and lighting dmg...and so on...), for mobs which might have resistance for certain type of dmg(i understand there won't be mobs with immunity to some type of dmg like in d2, but still )
lastly according to the kind of class/build u want to have a utility skill like knockback skill for ranged or dmg mitigation/def skill for melee.

as for the second question u asked - firstly i will try all the skills and see how i feel about them , tho u need to remember that runes might not drop so often so u might get limited skill tests for a while, other than that i personly prefer to get used to the build i thought of and start with that(most likely i will change the build from my pre release 1 cuz of the simple fact that i don't know how the game will go and if i will enjoy the build).

those r my thoughts about my choice of build - hopefully i mange to help u abit, nevertheless u should do what u feel the most suited build that u enjoy the most,
P.S: sry for all the missspelling and grammer - english isn't my native language :)

    best regards and take care,
