To clarify, Blizzard gave out early access to a bunch of content creators ahead of the Friday tech alpha start. Now that the tech alpha has opened up, the vast majority of people playing are not those who got early access.

The PvP conceptually sounds amazing but the problem is every time world PvP is attempted it just boils down to "large premade groups roam about farming players".
I would have much preferred an option to turn PvP on/off and be able to do it throughout the entire game, it'd feel more fluid. I hope the game has a dedicated duel option to, the dueling-world is what kept D2 alive.
I think it's worth reminding people that there is a character cap in regions of the world of D4. Large event boss areas increase that cap, and dungeons decrease it. It's possible a character cap in the PvP area would prevent the large premade groups from being a problem.

Quote from OSW_Zenkiki»
From what we saw at BlizzCon, and from additional preview footage, mounts actually look super rad. Every character has a dismount ability which allows you to open up on a group of enemies in a pretty cool way!
Then we will have to travel along places where there is just nothing to do no?
Yes and no it seems. We will be unlocking waypoints, as can be seen in this quarterly update, which will allow us to get quickly across the world; however, you will still need to hoof it to any specific near by event or dungeon.

Appreciate the update, we very much enjoy seeing the progress and getting a sneak peak what has been happening behind the scenes.
This post will probably never be seen, but one thing that would be nice to at have at least be discussed, is the players ability to zoom out a bit more than what is shown in the current game-play footage of D4. Many of us prefer to zoom out a bit more than what is currently shown on D4, and D3, and it is a very common complaint on PoE. This option would great for many players.
Thank you
They can only set a maximum zoom out distance and allow for zoom in. The reason is that if you allow players to zoom out even more you create the problem of mob aggro and shooting at them outside their engagement distance. The same problem appears in all isometric arpg. If you zoom out more you also have to modify the enemy engagement range in order to have a fair game. And that's not worth it . You zoom out and then what? Cluster fucks of mobs will enrage from across a large area and go out at you at once while you at the same time can overkill them or not . It's not fun after a while. You loose the visual details not to mention. What's next? Getting rid of visuals alltogheter and just play a input based game where you give commands like in chess board games and let the game autoresolve the movements. There is a reason why you set some limits to these things
I figured I would also chime in and add to the conversation about zooming out the camera. Personally, I prefer a camera that is zoomed out a tiny bit more; however, outside of the issues with readability and aggro distance, you also run into massive performance issues. For every little bit that the camera zooms out, you are adding a significant amount of extra information on the screen for the PC or Console to render. For modern PC's this would be of little consequence, but you would have fairly significant performance hits for the current generation of consoles and older PC's.

Thanks for the report! We’ve been aware of this issue for awhile, but its priority has been rather low since the system is still working. As we work toward our new future, we will be adding this and many other fixes to our to-do list!
Thanks again!

Honestly Scooter, that rapid fire quiver is pretty good this season because of the new LoN Rapid Fire build that has emerged as one of the top builds!

Sorry for the silence, we are working on a solution. No ETA

I've been working on a front page post regarding some of this information, and it certainly does sound like a game title; however, it also could be the name of this particular line of gear.
Let's be honest here... we're all hungry for any kind of information

I saw this when it was originally posted; however, a person on Reddit claiming to know things about the next Diablo project Blizzard is working on is not really a trustworthy source. Someone who had substantial leaks regarding a new project would likely also have more evidence than just "a friend told me." If what he says turns out to be true, then awesome!... Otherwise, I would take everything he is saying with a huge grain of salt.

The issue causing errors when visiting build pages has proven tough to track down, and the dev team had been implementing temporary fixes until the root cause could be determined. A more permanent solution has been deployed, and you should experience less errors when visiting builds!
0
We've deployed fixes to several of these errors, but your build (100458) appears to have not been fixed by any of them. I will escalate your problem to our devs; however, it may be quicker to just remake the build at this point.
Sorry for any inconvenience!

Replicating this problem is inconsistent at best for myself; however, when it does happen, the build finder still seems to work in finding the builds you're looking for---it just also produces an annoying error.

Thank you for bringing this up, I will look into it.
