Not really a fan of this when I hit a dead end and have to walk all the way back with no action (because everything on the way back is dead). I saw the atmosphere all the way there but your art team will rage if I didn't want to see it all over again on the way back? Ok.
I wonder how people will go about organizing having someone else craft something they don't have the recipe for. The AH is secure but trading is not (since your crafter won't have the crafted item made to trade until you give them the materials in the most important [late-game] cases).
Everyone claiming world first X will just have to sit down and shut up if they got the unfair advantage of an earlier release.
It'll have to be region first I guess then.
why would u want to burn the game we have been waiting years for, imo the first play should be every part of the map uncovered, every cinematic, speaking to npc's left, right and center. Its the way to go, that will not get ur region first.
burning to @60 after that seems like a good plan tho

By the way, do they track minute and hour this time for achievement unlocks or is it just date (WoW failed at this and due to that caused a lot of arguments about close calls)? I haven't thought about looking for that until now.
Don't get me wrong I'm not one of those people who wants to water down my experience by just blazing through everything but I'm not going to enjoy seeing topics flood the front pages of forums about firsts (sure, I can just ignore them but I'd prefer not to have to sift through trash).
God I hope this is fixed. Top youtube comment for that ended with "It doesn't affect Starcraft because the next attack is determined by a timer, not the end of an animation." If that's the case then why the **** didn't they do that with Diablo? Gameplay being preserved > drop in aesthetic quality from prematurely cancelled animations based on timers. SC2 clicking is godlike fast compared to Diablo so why didn't that game get a benefit from it? They should be making both games follow the same rules with attack speed as it pertains to clicking.
There's no skill involved in simply wearing out your fingers and mouse quicker so no additional combat benefit should be coming from this.
I can't really do it this way because I enjoy some of the classes equally for different reasons.

I didn't think I would like the monk at all but that move where he basically dashes across the screen to your enemy for only a little spirit is so much fun. The DH I'll probably like even more once I get a chance to feel what farming is like when the ferret rune is picking up all the gold for me.
This test is helping to remind people how much Online Only sucks. I would rather a less secure game that I can play whenever (obviously didn't hurt D2 from being massively popular).
2. Type your password into a text file, highlight it, and press CTRL+C to copy your password. (Note: If you try to copy your password directly from the password field, you'll only be copying asterisks! *****)
3. Start up D3 and switch it from Fullscreen Mode to Window Mode.
4. Type in your e-mail as if you're logging in. (assuming it's not already there)
5. Use "Do It Again" to begin recording a macro.
6. Click on the password field, press CTRL-V to paste in your password. Press ENTER. Wait for the Error 37 Dialogue to come up and press ENTER again.
7. Press SCROLL LOCK. This will end the macro recording. Give it a [Name].
8. In "Do It Again", go to Options>Repeat Task Settings for [Name]. Change the repetition times to 99999. You may have to add a wait timer in the field depending on what error we're getting right now (some errors take longer to pop up)
I have given up trying for today. Error 37 has been persistently been popping up the last hour and America is starting to log in so getting in is getting slimmer every passing minute. I am going to have a nice relaxing sleep and wake up tomorrow morning while the americans go to sleep and i gan freely enter the servers. One thing before i go. I truly hope that when the game goes live on the 15th of May then i do not want to see the same situation! I pay big money ( collectors edtion obviously ) and i wish to play the game then not spend several hours typing in my password and hoping to log in...

Every little step means something since you have to this hundreds of times to get in :/

Actually based on how well the more recent WoW expansion releases have gone I think it'll be fine.
Brand new game =/= expansions. I'll go by how SC2 went. Which was not well.
Unless you live in the backroom in Gamestop you're not playing the same time as those getting the digital version. Even though they make sure everyone has paid in full, done trade-ins, etc before midnight, they still take damn near forever to divvy up the copies after 12:01. It's definitely not the same at ALL.
