Came to think of something, if i spend gold in the PTR, will that in some way be reflected in the live version?
No... thats why its called PTR. its for testing only. It has no connection to your live characters at all.

Unless they fix they the item drops (i.e. make a mix of easily obtainable and rare set parts, just like the old IK, Natalya or Trang Oul set), they can set difficulty to zero, give everyone 1000% MF for free, throw in uber-bosses, PvP and what not - it won't make a difference. They want too much profit from the (RM)AH, and that's why the game will ultimately fail in the not-so-far future unless this will change significantly. People want to find most stuff on their own, and the Wilson team has to recognize that.

I think Blizzard's fans are infinitely more talented than them, that model is pretty badass

Its like one of those options that only a couple of achievement farmers do. only a very limited amount.

Some gamers let others doi the talking and thinking for them so when they see a ambiguous thread, or even an honest dislike threat, they reach the conclusion that everyone hates this game and why is blizzard making money.
Also when you want to want make constructive threads, its really useful to see how WoW MVPs do it. They put it in point form and everything is very simplified and it also has an extended version at the bottom of each point explaining it thoroughly.
Writing is easy, writing so every idiot can understand and not misinterpret is hard. =)

I'm very upset pvp isnt out yet too.
BUT i can see what happens if its not on par with what people expect. They dont wanna release something in progress that they have to fix it up with major patches. If you be patience it will come. There is already so much troll and hate on d3 so as a developer you'd rather have people wait for something good, rather than get something out the door.
i know.. it sucks to wait

I'm not strictly posting this for you but just in general for everyone.
PTR - means public test realm, you TEST stuff in it. and hes not just any blue poster, hes a QA analyst meaning its his job to able to re-produce any bugs that either are found by devs or players.
This is a very wrong assumption that all blue posters are the same, and quiet a lot of people don't understand it very well. being blue doesn't mean:
-they developed the game
-they designed the game
-they have access to player infos
Also they do let players sometimes to try out certain dungeons or specific weapon, but since diablo's loot is not set and its always in RNG it wouldnt make sense to give players the best quality for testing, it doesnt help anyone. They want to test RNG and gameplay usually, because ur experience and gameplay will be a lot diff than the next guy.
In most PTRs in wow they provide you with premade characters with full gear and full profs and supplies so you can actully test ur spec, talents, gameplay. Since there is an "endgame" gear it works in that case to give test gear.
