I can't complain too much about Diablo 3. I enjoy the game even today. Fast paced, some interesting fights, some minmaxing with gear -10% of what might be and I hope it will be soon-...
But I feel like I was Betaing for the consoles...
If 1.0.8 brings a dodge button and fewer but better items... The we will know that we've been played and I will feel insulted, like someone said. And if 1.09 or 1.1 or whatever even doesn't exist and we must wait till expansion I will rage.
Maybe childish, maybe nerdie... but I will be pissed. Nerd rage is so sweet, and you feel warm and part of a enraged and sweet and warm group... Nerd rage!
-The sad part is that between all this sarcasm is possible thet we've been taking part in the first beta paid by the customers of the history. If in a decade or so, some dark developer earns his week of glory uncovering a lot of rubbish swept under the carpet during the developing of DIII and that is confirmed, then I will feel truly sad-
What... lol
If you enjoy the game, why are you complaining. This is not an MMORPG, and still game getting updated in many manners, and even expanding on consoles. if anything you should be glad, cause this will extend your playtime more.
If you feel like "pc was a beta", and if thats ur personal opinion and not something some troll have said out of hate, then ur still confused between dedicating time to a game and whining about a game. -

You also have to think that whole big team, maybe isnt working on this project anymore. with the rumors of expansion , if the expansion project is now in progress by then almost, almost almost the whole team is on it. They cant afford to leave a couple behind. They get windows to balance things out and introduce things.Quote from Maky
I wasn't critical of this man as others during the facebook fiasco as I didn't think it be appropriate to comment but professionally I think that this imbecile of a designer cannot achieve anything. The Core game he designed is rubbish, improvements made later on were not of original thought and now a feature that was being worked on for months is thought of as inferior.
Blizzard this isn't the 'Fire jay wilson' dribble you hear regularly but I really do think you need to rethink employment of this individual.

This was kinda painful to read. "We worked for a long time on that pvp you guys were waiting for, and then decided it wasn't very good. We might give it to you at some point, but for now we're just going to start over."
The whole thing was painful to read but.... something better than nothing. Like others have said PTR test from early patches would still be better than this uncertain decision and push back of TDM at the moment. -

I was one of the lucky people that did play the pvp arena at Blizzcon 2011... It was fucking amazingly fun. WTF? Here's me having a shitton of fun:
i was there too and tried it. from the sound of it, they WILL release it. I'm guessing for expansion! i still wish it would stay in PTR, for couple month then get released rather than teasing us =p
I really liked that even if they say it wouldnt survive more than couple death matches and thats it.. -

I'm very upset pvp isnt out yet too.
BUT i can see what happens if its not on par with what people expect. They dont wanna release something in progress that they have to fix it up with major patches. If you be patience it will come. There is already so much troll and hate on d3 so as a developer you'd rather have people wait for something good, rather than get something out the door.
i know.. it sucks to wait -

Interesting stuff from the blues. Apparent it's now officially confirmed that blues can spawn any items they want and whatever quantity they want. I wonder if this applies to live.
Not trying to rock the boat or anything but I wonder if the harm is really that bad in letting players be able to do this at least in PTR, so we can test items/builds.
I'm not strictly posting this for you but just in general for everyone.
PTR - means public test realm, you TEST stuff in it. and hes not just any blue poster, hes a QA analyst meaning its his job to able to re-produce any bugs that either are found by devs or players.
This is a very wrong assumption that all blue posters are the same, and quiet a lot of people don't understand it very well. being blue doesn't mean:
-they developed the game
-they designed the game
-they have access to player infos
Also they do let players sometimes to try out certain dungeons or specific weapon, but since diablo's loot is not set and its always in RNG it wouldnt make sense to give players the best quality for testing, it doesnt help anyone. They want to test RNG and gameplay usually, because ur experience and gameplay will be a lot diff than the next guy.
In most PTRs in wow they provide you with premade characters with full gear and full profs and supplies so you can actully test ur spec, talents, gameplay. Since there is an "endgame" gear it works in that case to give test gear. -

What is best i suppose is to run couple mp1 games and get to know couple good players that will run more, and just keep running with them if you really like coop. Being with total randoms isnt always fun=p and you dont want to risk your character!

lol. its pretty true, well they are spending so much time for customer service since patch ;X at least they learn their lesson.

^ this is very weird to me as well. I do like to play my games solo. A LOT more enjoyable for me. Its a problem with games these days, is they try to make you forcibly social ( probably the wrong term to use here). Which is bad and good. Of course if im a new player, and there are 3 other people in my party. at some point im going to dare and ask "hey other barb/monk/wd/dh/wiz how do i play my class, or how to do this and that". and others help you out. Or it could be the other way around totally. I join a public game, i see a WD with a bad rune or a weird spec, and i point it out, and explain and they learn and appreciate the help ( most of the time).
Being alienated in a game is never fun. and although thats i do like being left alone, i can say a very high percentage of players are new, and need help.

Thats pretty cool if thats true! ;O
Idunno about "NO AH" but what if there was a ladder realm with no RMAH. I think that would be cooler. However eventhough i havent sold more than 10 bucks on RMAH, and i play HC more. i still like the idea of RMAH.

ahh, i dont think thats true. HC is still holding up on self found items, and gold AH.
I've also put up a challenge on US forums for mp10 leveling on SC with no AH. Its been fun actully. im already lvl 55 on my monk on self found items.
The goal is to beat diablo inferno on self found items.
oh btw, this has been done many times before. It IS do-able. People just have no patience for anything, and they have no control over themselves. See a upgrade weapon for 10 bucks? SURE you'll buy it , you enjoy it, then the farming stops. Which is the whole point of the game. Killing lots of demons, and a hunt for loot.

I'm not gonna quote the whole thing. But often people think 1 sided.
Its been explained many times that some of the features will no be done/cannot be done atm because of either technical difficulties/amount of work, or even for the better future of the game.
You can write a whole essay of the things YOU want in D3. which proves exactly what Ferret said " in general the expectations for D3 were just completely out of proportion to be realistically achievable."
If you stop worrying about the things that makes you unhappy, and the things that actully make you happy, maybe gaming will become less grim for you.
If you want to daydream about a big box of apples, its completely fine to write and suggest and give feedback on whats the best rout to be taken to get that full box of apples. BUT you are provided a bunch of fresh apples in the meanwhile, eat them, enjoy them and when your appetite is high for apples again you will be given more and more apples. If you are eating the apples too fast however ( going through content too fast- whether u just wanna use 1 feature of the game and ignore others, or ur a hardcore character that plays 10hr+ everyday ) then thats an issue thats been going on in the gaming community for a while now, and its more apparent in wow.

fan/supporter/forum follower/complainer/player/tester. It all sounds like they are playing the game, and keep on playing the game, or be connected to it in some way. That alone is paying too much attention to 1 subject.
What do we call all who post on diablofans/forums/ play the game? Fan? hardcore fan? mediocre fan? they are all supporting the game and the community in a positive and negative way. Might as well help the community of other fellow gamers, than be a docuhe i'd say. =)
Eh,. I play hardcore mate. And I'm farming mp3 right now. sure its not mp10 and i dont do infernal machine runs regularly. but i did finish the game, with what i earned through the game, and with the gold AH.
you CAN resist and be mindful of your actions and choices when you play games. Systems like AH, or RMAH, are there to help people who are already playing to have something other than playing to do ( play the AH game) and for those who really want to accomplish a goal to spend a buck or 2 here and there and get upgrades to play and have fun.

Whether you play it or not, like it or not. and if the game gets to a point that it only has 10k players on SC and HC combined, the game is still being a fun ARPG for those 10k players and its serving the purpose. =)

I dont undrestand.. you dont like the game??? or you just dont like progress lines?
It is something to be proud of. to provide so much service globally to every region on earth and provide content/balance/and changes for a whole year.. thats pretty epic. No matter how butthurt you are about w/e ur upset, it is pretty epic.
hats off to diablo3 team and CMs for providing this.

<We who still play it appreciate it very much for all the additions and attention the game has had for a 1 time pay game. =)
