Just go play Diablo 2... You'll have almost all of your wishes. D3 obviously is not the game for you.

Also, 50% chance to drop a legendary from bosses.... ROFLROFLROFLROFLROFL.

Lol don't get me started on Tyrael's storyline. I like D3 and don't consider myself a complainer, and I even like the story overall. However Angels can now rip of their wings and become nephalem? or even human and it still doesn't make sence. Lets take it in another scenario, you have 2 aliens of different races: Alien 1 and Alien 2 mate because somehow their biology is similar enough to do so, they make a baby called Alien 3. So now Alien 1 can just rip off his leg and now he's Alien 3? Or any other bodily part for that matter, it doesnt change you from a being of pure light and sound (description of Angels by Blizzard) to a being of flesh, let alone one that has parts that came from a completely different race (humans/nephelam are part angel and part demon).

They don't need to make separate PVP gear. WoW has that because it has progressive content releases so you need to periodically "progress" your gear to keep up. In D3 they can just adjust how much damage you do to players vs. how much to monsters.

And a perma-stun build has nothing to do with PvP gear. Even in WoW if perma-stun was possible no amount of gear would fix it. They'll either redesign skills to stop that happening, make some skills function differently in PvP or introduce CC DR for PvP.

They stated at the most recent blizzcon during the PvP pannel that the skills are already seperated into a PvP version and a PvE version. Meaning not only can they adjust damage of a specific skill for only PvP, but they can also adjust stun lengths and any other modifier for only PvP without it affecting PvE what so ever.

Yeah, the only thing I want in PvP is a general damage reduction, cause in general people are going to have WAY more DPS then HP, and a reduction in debuffs like fear, freeze, stun, etc. Cause those are no fun (as anyone who faces a shadow WD with fear when killing DIablo can attest).

To a point. I don't think there should be a stat that reduces damage further, just a blanket reduction when doing PvP, say 35% damage reduction to all classes or something. But you also have to realize that Armor and Resistances reduce damage by alot, and work together. So if you have 7k defense or 65% DMG reduction and 600 resistances or 60% DMG reduction, they work after eachother. So you get hit for 50k, its reduced by 35% first, then 65%, then 60% bringing that 50k dmg hit down to 4550. (obviously the numbers i used for defense/resist/reduction are not real numbers, just pulled them out of my ass, but the poitn remains true)

Honestly, that has every stat that a Wizard is looking for. Maybe not the highest possible, but they're all there. I'd say easily 20mil, but don't set a buy out. Let people bid on it, cuz it will go up.

Diablo 2 is fun because (1) promote coop - only botter play solo. (2) it is not gear dependent

Diablo 3 is build around RMAH.

1 - punish coop. The game is much hard playing coop

2 - gear dependent. You cannot kill anything when you are naked.

You didn't play Diablo 2 did you. MF'ing in Diablo 2 was ONLY done solo, botting or no. The only time I went into a public game was to trade, to PvP, or to level, and this was the case for the majority, not the minority. Diablo 2 was also massively gear dependant. You couldn't do solo Hell Baal runs without meeting a minimum gear point, and you certainly couldn't do it naked, just the same as with Diablo 3. Also, the minions in Diablo 2 got harder when people joined your game as well, that's the reason people did public Baal runs, ect. The monsters were harder and you got more EXP. The only complain I can see anyone having about this is the lack of reward for doing public games, you no longer get extra EXP, you get the same amount of EXP which makes leveling a more solo experience for those that want it that way. All in all, go back to D2 if you think its better because you obviously never played it the first time around.

posted a message on My Lilith = Adria Theory
Adria marked the prime evils before they were killed in Diablo 2 I thought. It made it so instead of them going into the souls stones (like we assumed, and then destroyed to no avail) they were instead sucked into the black soul stone when we killed them in Diablo 2. Adria would have been an allie to the prime evils all along, so she would have the opportunity to mark them before their death.

Also, your making it sound like a demon (Lillith) would be more powerful than a nephalem. I think that Adria is indeed a nephalem, just like our characters, which would make sence for both her long life and her assumed power, since nephalem are more powerful than both angels and demons.

People need to stop bitching about RMAH. Don't use it if you don't want to. The fact is the same people who were buying before are buying now, and Blizzard is getting a cut. WHICH IS A GOOD THING!!! It ensures continued development of the game, both in patches and expansions that may have not been there otherwise. So, imho... STFU WITH THE BITCHING ABOUT THE RMAH, PLAY THE GAME OR DON'T!

On the other hand, you can ding to level 60, spend $100 and get a badass character, but you'll get DESTROYED in PvP because PvP is going to have a matchmaking system similar to Starcraft 2. This means the people who are legitimately badass and good at playing their character will have a massive advantage from those who just bought it and jumped right in.

The absurdity of equating a3/a4 farming with pvp experience has already been dealt with, so I'll address this one.

People who are "badass" are going to push their ranking up pretty quickly and be fighting other badass players. People who spent all their money and don't know what they are doing are going to drop their ranking and be paired up with weak players. Only this time the rankings are hidden so you don't truly know where you stand. Either group is going to end up winning/losing about half their matches either way and not really know any better. This is why D3 PvP cannot be truly "competitive" because you can't truly win (hence you can't pay-to-win either.) You can't prove that you're the top anything, aside from how much time you've spent pvping.

Blizzard stated at the last Blizzcon during the PvP panel that the PvP would be based off of a combination of your hidden rating as well as your gear rating. So no, it won't be poorly geared/good players vs well geared/bad players, you'll be paired with people who have similar gear to you as well as similar skill.

You're right, there is a power for money thing going here, and it will effect PvP, but not the way you think. The people who earn their gear are going to be extremely good at using their character from having to have farmed act 3/4 inferno for hours upon hours. On the other hand, you can ding to level 60, spend $100 and get a badass character, but you'll get DESTROYED in PvP because PvP is going to have a matchmaking system similar to Starcraft 2. I agree with some of what you've said, but the story is not horrible. It falls in line with the diablo saga of games and novels exceptionally well and was an overall good story. If you think otherwise, that's fine, its your opinion, but I can tell you that you're in the minority. 95% of players loved the story, its just the 5% thats extra vocal about hating it.

Also... if you didn't know about the hundreds of hidden stats in Diablo 2, then you never really played Diablo 2. You were just one of the people who walked through normal and killed Diablo and said you beat the game and now you brag that you were hardcore into D2. Diablo 2 has SOOO many hidden stats that were absolutely necessary for high end characters, especially in PvP.

As many people have said. Mirror images and teleport give you two cooldowns to get you out of jailer. Illusionist will reset those cooldowns whenever you get hit. Those three skills are your best defensive abilities in my opinion. I only dropped any of them if I felt completly safe in an act I was doing.

then what should I drop? I cant drop Blizzard/Hydra or Arcane Orb, they are my offensive spells and I can't drop Teleport either, that gives me Diamond Skin and Energy Armor as possible choice to frop, I jsut don,t know wich one I should drop

Honestly you don't need Blizzard AND Hydra if you have Arcane Orb. The only reason you would use both Blizzard and Hydra in the same build is if you are doing a full DOT build and you don't use Arcane Orb. Basically in inferno you NEED 4 slots dedicated to defending yourself. Teleport/Fracture, Mirror Image, and Force armor are almost must haves.

posted a message on Decoy based Wizard build - Mirror Image + Teleport Fracture + Illusionist
I use an extremely similar build, though I do switch out Mirror Images for Force Armor because when you Teleport with Fracture it replaces the images created by Mirror Images, and they're much more effective because they spawn wherever you Teleport allowing you to move away from them without having to cast a second spell. I also replace Evocation with Galvanizing Ward because Evocation becomes kind of useless if you have Illusionist because monsters will ALWAYS hit you for 15%+ of your life (and a maximum of 35% from Force Armor), meaning Teleport/Fracture are always available when you need them, and the life regen helps regen that 1 hit you received to reset your cool-downs.
