Bloodshard exploit = 10x+ faster gearing at beginning of season with most powerful focused farming method.
Hellfire amulet = meaningless leaderboard ranks and a slightly elevated farm for short period.
I like how you refer to the bloodshards as an exploit, but you don't refer to the hellfire amulet exploit as an exploit. You're attempting to sugar coat it because you feel one is less game-breaking than the other. But it doesn't matter which was worse, as they were both still exploits.
Maybe the next time you morons hear about an exploit, you'll not attempt it yourself. I knew about it and I'm not banned, because I'm not stupid enough to try it. No sympathy.
The thing is...running T1 over and over and over and over again, without any progression plainly sucks...part of enjoying the game is finding legendaries that boost your character in some way...that was one of the "core-features" for Loot-2.0...they wanted legendaries to be buildchangers...
For some (Sets, TF, SoH, Cindercoat...etc) that statement holds...but 99% of the legendaries that drop are either useless because they CAN'T roll decent or simply because they rolled horribly...smart loot was a good start but for legendaries they should have implemented a system that ensures you only find useful things...imagine you play barb and that super rare legendary finally drops...and it has int and no socket or totally crappy stats in general...thats the moment where you start to get frustrated even more...
It's absolutely okay that there are differences in legendaries...but if 99% of the legendaries you find are terrible, you start to ask yourself "why am i still doing this?"...sure...for the 1% that actually CAN be decent...but for many players, in combination with the above, that simply sucks...and i can totally understand that frustration...telling those players "RNG is RNG" over and over again does not benefit them in any way...
If you're running T1 over and over again with "no progression," try running T2. If you've run T1 that much, it's more likely than not that you just want to take it easy rather than being challenged, with loot thrown at your face.
Bullshit - the loot drop rate sucks now period. It was fine before that first 25% bump up to Rifts. Now even after the 100% bump - it still sucks. I go DAYS of playing 3-4 hours at a time without seeing a SINGLE damn Green drop. None. Its the same crappy trash 2handers over and over.
Its not all Random. This isn't gaming in early 2000s.
They can fix it if they want. Gaming Technology today can assure its NOT random and instead drops follow a consistent flow rate -- there is no reason for the drops to not be consistent for everyone, PERIOD. Why the F*&K do you deserve 5-10 Legendaries during your play, but the next guy/gal doesn't?? It can be corrected if they want too.
Except Baal runs required you to find Baal, and then kill his minions, and then kill Baal. So basically, this is nothing at all like Baal runs. Fight something other than 1 mob if you want loot.
