posted a message on Weapon animations - Monk
    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/class/monk/active/mantra-of-conviction

Is it just me or does it look like the monk is actually using his 2h weapon while fighting in this new video? In the beta there is no weapon animations, so did they add them to the release or am i just seeing things?

When I first heard of Diablo 3 I was thrilled. They are going to make a sequel to one of my favorite games ever and they are going to make it better. And from what I have seen they are not only making it better, they are making it legendary.

I agree with the OP and Baretta. The rest of you Nancies just need to take a chill pill.

Until they put in animations for weapons ill be dual wrist weapons or wrist/shield. I just think it looks hokey having a staff and not using it.

What happened to Criplling wave? It used to be lvl 8 generator. I notice that we only have 3 primary skills. 4 secondary skills, 4 defensive skills & 4 mantra's.

There are 2 other groups: Techniques unlockable at `14, and Focus unlocable at 19. Did anyone see if they moved it in there someplace? If so its lame, Criplling wave was my favorite builder.

posted a message on DPS you achieved in beta patch 12?
Ive only put a couple hrs on my monk, and hes at 32 dps with mostly blues + almost everything i have on has MF % something on it. Im not all that concerned about dps. Most of the mobs just die with a shot or two anyways at this point.

If they dont release a digital download option with CE and normal options I would be shocked.

In fact, I would be mighty pissed off if they didn't prepair for almost everyone wanting a copy of the CE. They have had 10 years to hype this shit, so they have had 10 years to plan for an adequate amount of CE's.
I think they announced it earlier that a digital version of CE would not be available in their online store. It is a collectors item and it is suppose to be limited, like every other collectible they have released so far.

It makes little business sense to limit the availability of CE if there is demand. If people want it, I would think they would continue to have suppliers create them, especially since the damn game is not even out yet. I am not saying they will keep making CE 6 months after release, but it should be available on release day at the very least.

Can you quote the source that said there was only going to be a limited amount made and that only pre-orders would have the opportunity to buy the CE? I find it a bit far fetched that Blizz would not have any CE's available to purchase on release day.

    Quote from Ralsu

    Quote from "XxL2PxX" »

In the past, Tyrael had the strongest vote over the Angiris Council. The comet maybe Tyrael's warning AND also Tyrael himself, cast out from the High Heavens by Imperius. With Tyrael gone, the Angiris Council's high judgment darkens, and the luminaries start to fail, as they wage war with the Burning Hells on the Sanctuary
    Parts I agree with:
    1. Tyrael's punishment for becoming too involved with the humans is to be cast out from the Angiris Council. With him gone, the vote is 3-2 in favor of destroying Sanctuary. Even if they spent 20 mortal years finding a replacement on the Council, 20 years is nothing to them. And now the vote is likely 4-2 in favor of destroying Sanctuary--or even more lopsided as Tyrael stands as an example that the evils of the world will just suck them in and lead them on a path of Chaos (Tyrael acting without the blessings of the Council is Chaotic Good at best).
    2. "the Angiris Council's high judgment darkens, and the luminaries start to fail, as they wage war with the Burning Hells on the Sanctuary"
    Parts I disagree with:
    1. The meteor/comet (comet in spece, meteor as it falls) is Tyreal. I just do not buy it. A sign from Tyrael maybe. But I just will not subscribe to the theory that Tyrael goes all flashy in a ball of light and crashes into the cathedral with a bowl of frozen Cool Whip to save his cherished humans. Tyrael is not our buddy. He does not want to bring us whipped topping for our desserts. If anything, Tyrael holds a cocky belief that the free will of humans will show the legions of Burning Hells that Order is better than Chaos when the humans choose Order. I know. I get to be alone in my notion that Tyrael does not want to join a sewing circle with humans.

I just finished the Sin War books. If i recall, its was 2 for destruction, 2 against distruction, 1 abstain and then Tyrael's vote making it 6. (angels)

Even is Tyrael's kicked off the council, (while i dont believe being kicked off the council = kicked out of heaven) it could still be a deadlock 2 for/2 against 1 abstain.

Nor do i swallow Imperious being able to "banish" anyone. It would be the councils decision, which might have happened. But there is no reasoning behind this. Tyrael destroying the worldstone is/should be nothing to the council. He saved both the angels and humans by destroying it before Baal could corrupt it for his own power. (thinking along the lines of Inarius's link to the worldstone and how powerful was.

Disclaimer: i have not played or read anything much about d3 and have avoided most of the spoilers from the beta. (so i could be totally wrong :) )
