Yeah, man, thx. There's special paragraph for that purpose in my "plan"
"--00:01 CEST - Start SC characters and rush to 10 lvl w/o paying any attention to LORE. (Probably will take about one hour.)"

So i've found 1 more guy who's gonna play Wizard. Two spots left for Monk and Barb ideally. Though since there seems to be ridiculously small amount of HC players, we can consider taking any class. Before Hell group composition prolly won't mean that much, at least while everyone have any group-oriented skills in their build.

They've already made the amount of legendaries for <60 such small... And yet thery are still pretty usefull for reasons stated above.
Also i think "Blizzard Would have been Better off making" leveling new characters the regular basis...

damn ,,, i LOVE your presentation , it just sucks that you are going to hard core , i basicly want to do EVRYTHING the way you are doing , exept that i will start with softcore untill i finish the game , only then (a few months from now) i will dedicate myself to hardcore , the reasons for this are :

1- RMAH , i simply love the idea
2- HARDCORE death = DEATH 4 EVer ,, and i dont want that to happen to my one and only character

if you change your mind about harcore and you want to run softcore normal all the way non stop like you told , you have a BARBARIAN here redy to slay

Cheers and GOOD LUCK ! ;)

Thanks man, it's really nice to read such a response.
Also thanks for offer, but i've became addicted to HC over the years of playing this mode in D2 and just can't see myself playing SC, there's no joy for me there. Though i'm kinda starting to feel forever alone :D All my friends who will play D3 will be on SC and even here on Dfans it's so hard to find people to play with...

I'll decide after finishing Inferno on normal. By then I probably know what class I wanna play.
    Inferno on normal? That's nonsense.

I didnt read all the posts, but just to be informative, Blizzard did say awhile back that HC games would have higher droprates for magic gear than normal games.
No there's just speculation occasionally showing up. Blizzard never said anything like that and it's never been and won't be in Diablo.

The question should be "what's the point in playing SC?". It's like running in DOOM 2 with godmode, there's no fun whatsoever.

Not having the fate of my character commanded by Blizzard client-server latency or in-game bug is my reason.
Yeah, i can understand it. But actually even in D2 there were <5% deaths due to lag. And that's with Alt+F4 quick exit, without it the % would be much lesser. And.. With time, death just doesn't bother you that much :D It's probably becoming most "enjoyable" moment... in an odd way. You find yourself stopping to play too safe and risking for the sake of moments of evading close death.

I wonder what the sales on the first day will be. For sure this release deserves to beat all previous records.

Well i still haven't found a group to play with, and finally decided that co-op is way more fun than solo.
So i'm looking for three more mature HC fans to join me in upcoming journey.
I expect you to want to investigate the game as maximum as possible, so the first playthrough on Normal will imply
    - No rush
    - Complete all quests
    - Investigate all dungeons
    - Read all books
    - Watch all cinematics and game scenes
    - Though no crushing all the barrels... It's kinda waste of time, just occasional which are on the way.

I assume in ~20 hrs a group can probably beat the NM (assuming we won't read all the Lore there), so in that matter i'd like a group to be well balanced. From my point of view the best combination is
    - Witch Doctor (with Bad Medicine and poison dmg skills + dogs to take some hits + any cc skill)
    - Barbarian (with Ground Stomp to stun packs and War Cry to increase groups defence)
    - Monk (with mantra of evasion and any healing skill)
    - Wizard (with few frozing/slowing skills)
(these expectations on skills only for NM)

I am personally going to start with WD, so there are spots for Barb, Monk and Wiz.
We gonna take breaks for meals, but keep'em short (like 4-5break for 10-20 mins). Also we can consider 5 min breaks every hour (for bio, smoke break... if needed).

Anyway, that's kinda it... Skype isn't mandatory, but it's nice to have a conversation. Especially after morning when the ones we live with will wake up. And more in NM when we won't need to listen ingame dialogs. So therefore i'd like to have mature people in group with average+ english.

Also there's rough plan of what's the trip going to be
--00:01 CEST - Start SC characters and rush to 10 lvl w/o paying any attention to LORE. (Probably will take about one hour.)
-- Start HC characters and go through Normal. (it's hard to say how long it will take... probably 10-14hrs)
-- Make few runs on last boss to get a bit better gear... no fanatism though, just 5-6runs (40-60 mins)
-- Go through NM untill we want. But i expect you to stay awake untill around 22:00 of May, 15 CEST
(I didn't include breaks there since we don't have exact timings..)

UPD got one more to play Wizard. 2 spots left

Isn't it best to first try and finish the game at inferno in softcore to at least know what to expect at hardcore?
Depends on what you mean by "best". It would most probably prevent many deaths on HC. But many HC veterans just don't enjoy playing on SC, so it's better to enjoy the game you play, right? Also even if you die in HC you still achieved a lot for your next characters (gold, items, BS levels, etc), so in terms of time invested it's still better to get, let's say, to the last boss on HC and die there coz of unknown mechanic, and you know it now, rather than get aknowledge about it on SC and then anyway start new character on HC, but w/o any items, gold, etc.

It's interesting that HC poll differs so much from general ones.
PS I'll go with WD as my main following by Barb when i get some nice equip for twinking him.

Why are u so mad? This isn't even an achievement. There are many stupid achievements in WoW (and i think a lot will be in D3) like world first, ones for being at Blizzcon, bonuses for CE, etc. And this is just a little present to those who helped with testing. Don't act like tards.
