Still rollin with ma 9800GT

mad much?
They play sc2 at 1440x900 at ultra so I have to admit they're still pretty good cards.
I used to lag a ton on ultra sc2 with that card, same resolution. Now I have a better monitor so it's worse. Online I have to go low-ish settings or I lag out of games. Single player however isn't too bad, less units generally. I can go on high iirc.

http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#WQdURP!hWV!accYcc
This is a whirlwind barb that tries to keep up his wrath of the berserker for as long as he can while still staying alive. I think this would be both a fun and viable build for the later difficulties (seeing how you need to be level 60 to fully use this build).
The primary tactic would be to leap into a group of monsters (the more the better), and instantly use wrath of the berserker (WotB) then overpower. Leap attack will give you extra armor for a few seconds so you can cast these spells without dying, and hitting lots of enemies with overpower will make WotB last a few more seconds. Then you start whirlwinding around, killing everything, until you either run out of fury or overpower is ready again. If you run out of fury or are low on health, start using frenzy to regain hp. Once overpower is ready, run into the group and use it again to get another few seconds of WotB. Revenge will help keep you alive, especially with the upped 30% chance. Also with the combination of unforgiving and animosity you should be able to whirlwind longer and berserk longer. Lastly tough as nails helps you keep your base armor up passively, and helps to reflect damage while you blitz right through enemies with whirlwind.

OP is totally right, that Black Soulstone cinematic was a mainstream pile of crap. No artistic value whatsoever in that video.

Going from what nicbex said, your FPS drop to me looks like it would be really annoying, 8/10. I wouldn't wanna play in those conditions...

If you click on "vimeo" in the bottom right of the video it will take you to the vimeo page of the video. There the author has put his name and all programs used.

posted a message on How Difficult Should We Expect Diablo 3 To Be?
I don't think 85% will beat hell... I mean I never even beat hell mode in d2 because it just gets so hard in the fact that all the monsters do huge damage because armor doesn't reduce damage, only reduces the chance of being hit. But in d3 it will be more viable since all armor does %damage reduction.

OH AND IDENTIFYING CAN NOW BE DONE BY ANYONE AT ALL TIMES LOL.
"Wouldn't that mean our characters inherently understand all lot and the process of identification is just wasting our time as players?"
UHHHH WELLL... WELLL UHHH.
"If our characters can identify it by *looking* at it, aren't they doing that as they see it on the ground and pick it up and store it already?"
UHH WELL IT TAKES SOME TIME LOL BUT U JUST RIGHT CLICK ON IT DATS IT

...

White items are now useless we just want tons of useless shit to drop so its more exciting when u find super rares u kno?
"No."
Well uhhh, just, you know feel it out.
"Whats that mean."
Well just deal with it cause tons of useless shit is dropping.
"That wont make finding an item even more exciting. The exciting item itself is what does that. Nothing dropping at all can make something dropping exciting no matter what it is, whereas dropping tons of whites doesnt do shit for us."
The point is so you can sell/trade unidentified items. Sometimes players do this instead of IDing them because if it it not identified, it has the possibility to have the best mods, so people buy them.

And yes, searching through piles of crap to find that one good item (if you ever find it) is exciting. They had the exact same concept in D2 and I feel that from personal experience when those gold/green letters popped up it was exciting. Even appropriate rares.

posted a message on New Potential Build
You could try using http://www.build-gaming-computers.com/]this website. It offers some explanations to choices as well as how to choose your parts if you aren't sure. I'm not a computer expert so I don't know if it is the best deal but it looks solid in my opinion. And yes 16GB RAM is overkill, diablo 3's system requirements are 2GB, and 1GB for lowest. Even highly intensive games like Skyrim and BF3 only use 4GB. 8 is definitely future proof if all you use it for is gaming.
