You're forgetting that dual wielding automatically gets a bonus 15% attack speed. It swings faster than sword and board - period. Therefore it does more damage. I believe it should decrease your damage.
No, I'm actually aware of the speed bonus. I'm a little confused about your opinion switching from one phrase to another, but whatever.
Let's try a little calculation. So your mainhand weapon does x dps. If you use it alone with no offhand, you do x dps. If you equip a shield, you may even do a little more depending on it's stats. Now if you equip a second weapon with y dps, your x dps are gone and -simply put- morphed into (x+y)/2 * 1.15.
So, if x = y, you gain 15% damage. But if y < x, you can actually get less than x dps as a result if the difference is big enough. I checked this ingame, so if you don't believe me, try it on your own.
So, to put it a little extreme: DW is only viable, if you have your one, big, amazing weapon twice. Odds are, your best two weapons at any given point will vary in dps.
As a result, the offhand plays an important role, which is good, but this role is called "mirror the mainhand or drag you down". Still don't like this
And here we have the problem of making DPS so important. so the Off-Hand can reduce your DPS, yes, if it low enough. But, It does not reduce the damage of your Main Hand weapon. That weapon's damage is still what it was, and will be the damage of attacks that use the Main Hand damage (like most Fury spenders and probably Leap Attack etc.) but attacks that alternate will first use the Main Hand weapon, dealing massive damage, then use the Off-Hand.
If your total DPS didn't drop then it would be like equipping a spoon that you never use and attacking faster with your Main Hand. That doesn't make sense. If you don't attack with your Off-Hand you don't get greater Attack Speed, when you attack with your Off-Hand, you should deal the damage of that weapon (you should not deal Beastly Axe of Critical Demise damage with you Spoon of Noodles, but instead your Spoon of Noodles damage). This results in the DPS drop if you use an Off-Hand with insufficiently high damage.
It would be like saying that x+x+x+x should always be less than x+y+x+y+x just because there are more numbers. but 10+10+10+10 is obviously going to be greater than 10+1+10+1+10. From what I can determine with some mental math you need to be within 10% to not lose DPS, and this does not seem too big a problem.

The max level for skills was 20. Only through +Skill item affixes could you extend it beyond that.Quote from GazziwaDiablo II was designed with them in mind, and the knowledge that most players would hardly get to experiment with their highest level (30) skills before finishing the game for the first time.
You have to beat each subsequent difficulty to unlock the next. You have to beat Hell for Inferno.Quote from GazziwaYou will be able to access the three difficulties Nightmare, Hell and Inferno after you played through the normal Difficulty.
Quote from Gazziwa...to the point that playing solo in a group game will be a very bad idea.
Kinda contradictory here, these two lines.Quote from GazziwaIt will be possible to run it solo, though...
The range is 61-65 currently, if you were wondering.Quote from GazziwaFeaturing monsters with a minimum level of 61
And have gotten the best gear out of Hell.Quote from Gazziwa...this mode is aimed at players who have maxed out their character at the level 60 cap.
Typo here.Quote from GazziwaBlizzard promises you that how good you are at games, you will still die in Inferno.
Like the guy above me said, Waller (which is the proper name) is available in all difficulties. Are you calling 'Jailer' shackle? That's available in all difficulties too.Quote from GazziwaWhen you get to Inferno the monsters will have different abilities, such as "Freeze time, wall- blocking, shackle."
Normal, Nightmare, and Hell all were kept the same. The only recent change to the difficulties has been in Inferno, and the only thing they did was make it get harder as you progress.Quote from GazziwaFor just a month Blizzard announced that they had a difficult that was static. Which means that it was "This hard" from the beginning to the end. But they figured that it wasn't so fun. Because the first boss was as hard as the last one. So they changed the difficulties so that they will scale through out the acts.
Also there are many grammar, and a few spelling, mistakes that you should really think about fixing if you want this to be a legible, useful guide to the difficulties in Diablo III.
And change the thread name. It's not very professional at all. -

Your game key is bound to your battle.net account, you cant be logged in from 2 different computers simultaneously.Quote from mjkearley2002
hi guys not sure if this was answered already or not, didnt really know what to search for when asking this so i will just ask.
if i create a champion on computer A on my b.net account. and then switch to computer B and use the same b.net account that i used on computer A will the champions be account bound, like wow style.
because i do travel abit and i usually use my desktop when im home then when im on the road i have my laptop.
Im going to guess and say they will be account bound because b.net 2.0 and what not and this will be a online all the time type game like starcraft 2. so i could of just answered my own question but i like to make sure. ty all
Works same as World of Warcraft in that regard. -

I could achieve this same effect by messing with the color and contrast settings on my monitor, and it would look just as bad. Hell, a pair of dark sunglasses and some whiskey would work too. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Nuvian is far from trigger happy. He locked it because there was another topic discussing the change to Inferno - and it was literally RIGHT BELOW the one you created.
Edit: We don't need that many topics discussing the recent change to Inferno on the forum. There's really only a need for one - thus, his actions.
Edit 2: And just for future reference - if I remember right - you're not supposed to talk about any moderation in a public venue...I'm not sure if this counts for situations like this, but I thought I would tell you just in case. :3

We're talking about the guy who is mad because he can't aim simple little darts, right? I find it completely funny that he believes there is more evidence showing that Corpse Spiders would be better for end-game than Poison Darts. Considering that he is a complete hypocrite and doesn't impose the same set of rules upon himself as he does us - it's really no wonder. I find it horribly disgusting and appalling that he continues to argue with the mindset that he's automatically right without any evidence.
Point: The argument is asinine because neither side has evidence nor any validations to prove whether one is better than the other. It is all baseless ASSumptions. If he wants to argue that a terrible skill will be better - then by all means, let him. I'll personally never waste a skill-slot on a skill that is such tripe, though.
My $0.02: Beta is raging because he feels his opinion is the God almighty truth and factual science when it comes to Diablo III.
Secret hint: It's not.
I can't place enough emphasis on how stupid this argument is. Considering you have SIX skills - yes, SIX, and not one - this argument is completely flawed in every way and utterly retarded. How about, if this is a pissing contest and you want to impose such idiotic rules, we go even further and this is your only rule: You can only use Corpse Spiders and no other skills.
That's how stupid your argument is. It's not ONE skill that makes or breaks our arsenal - it's the fluidity between the skills we choose.

More interesting information is that Kony has not committed crimes for a few years - at least publically known now. He left Uganda around 2008. Most of the stuff stated is just bullshit propaganda from the United States.
A lot of Ugandans will even tell you that they are not whatsoever threatened by Kony. He's a thing of the past. Should he be brought to justice? Sure. People shouldn't waste money in an already troubling economic time though. Especially if he isn't publically committing the crimes anymore. We need to quit being such a vindictive wasteful society.
It really isn't beneficial. Just stop.
Edit: Plus like others have stated*, somewhere ~33% of the donations go to the cause. The rest is pocketed.

Edit: I see the shadow of the string on the one bow, but it seems that one of the bows is MISSING a string? The other ones aren't? That's what's confusing me.
Edit 2: Okay yeah I see them now. They weren't there when I looked at them. Weird. Guess that happens when you get into a fist fight the day after one of your close relatives die, and then two days later, another one has a stroke. -.-...Sorry, just /ranting.
