posted a message on Achievement System
There will probably be achievements for a certain rating in pvp, maybe reaching a high average item level(like "Epic" in WoW). I bet they will have one for finding really rare items, leveling up artisans, completeing sets, doing certain events, gaining a certain amount of gold(that is kind of "grindy" though), creating one of each of the highest level gems, getting one of those devastating blows on a certain mob (1000 pounder or something big), winning a pvp match on every map, kill bosses in a certain amount of time, discovering the secret cow level, the list goes on and on.

If they are going to implement any "grindy" achievements then that opens up like 1000000x more

    Paranormal Activity. Hands down.

What? Why didn't you like it, I thought it was pretty good except the couple were a bit over the top sometimes.

@Don, Invention of lying? I thought that movie was pretty good. I mean it is simple but it is funny.

Worst movie ever, I think I have said it before, but I will say it again. Dragon Ball Evolution.

I agree with you about high heels, THAT is pretty over the top. I also wish they would have done the graphics/style slightly diffrent. I still like the current graphics and style but they could be better, in my opinion.

Face it maka, people like the idea because it is a good idea and are excited to play it. Just because YOU don't like it doesn't mean it's a bad idea and all of us who do are just robot fanboys...or boy in my case.

P.S. I'd just like to add that it's nothing personal, I just don't really agree with your logic in saying that people who like dual xbows are fanboys and I think that is a pretty unfair assumption.

If throwing daggers don't fit the DH, whom do they fit?

And the only reason the DH has gotten so many support on this forum is because Blizz thought of it. If Blizz had thought of something else, and some user proposed the DH, he would'be been shot down quicker than you can say 'fanboy'. This forum is full of them, you know....

So anyone who disagrees with your opinion is a fanboy?

Wow, you've convinced me with your sound logic, maka. I switch sides, no dual xbows in D3 because offering fun and unique options are just something that don't belong in the Diablo universe! I hope they bring back all the old classes in the expansions too, I'm tired of these new, fresh classes that bring diffrent types of gameplay to the game...What is Blizzard thinking?

"...and thats how Diablo and the angels became friends. Fin."

Really though, I think we are all forgetting that they love their games as much as we do, if not more, and they do what they think is best. At some point in time, all the lore that has been published by Blizz was approved by the majority of the people working on the game, or at least the lore department. That doesn't justify a bad story, but it is just something to think about.

Idk, for me I just assume she has the ability to reload insanely fast, I don't really need the lore to tell me that. I do think that they should mention her ability to reload or whatever, but I will play the DH either way and I will like it just as much with or without an explanation.

I mean if you don't like this, the whole idea of being able to gain a non-class skill in D2 from an item is far worse.

    Quote from leftfoot

I like this idea, but it would have to be implemented in a way that doesn't get in your way.. For example, if you have played DoTa, each skill has some lore written in it's description. I remember when me and my friends first started playing Dota, the game just started, you buy some items and run to your lane and in the meanwhile try to get a quick grasp of what your skills actually do but instead you read something along the lines of:

"A celestial being summoned to aid the Sentinel in their darkest hour; the Storm Spirit chose to manifest itself in the life essence of a humble elementalist, Raijin Thunderkeg. Though the Pandaren's soul perished during the profound surge of pure electrical essence, the divine entity even now seeks refuge in Raijin's body, unable to thrive on its own. However, despite its mortal imprisonment, the Storm Spirit is far from being limited of its tremendous powers. Able of manipulating vast, inexhaustible sources of energy in mysterious ways, it swiftly hails destructive sparks of lightning upon the Sentinel's adversaries, eradicating all that dared to cross its path. "

    and you are like WHAT!?

    hahahaha exaaactly

How would you become a cyborg exactly? Would you find mechanical parts and a couple of microprocessors under a rock, and perhaps a guide to robot construction/details of the human body?

    yes

There is just something cool about having two smaller xbows rather than one big xbow, like using two 1h axes vs a 2h axe, it just adds more choices. As long as they keep using two 1h weapons vs one 2h balanced, everyone should be happy.

DH and WD, Entangling Shot, Grasp of the Dead, Locust Swarm, Horrify, Spike Trap/Shock Spike, Sacrafice. Basically slow them down, use damage over time spells and kite.

DH and Wizard sounds pretty sweet too, health globe control
