My profile is Nokturnal #1520 i havn't played in a few days but yeah ok.. don't believe me but look for yourself.
Getting BIS is really not hard to do with Haedrigs gift and a little luck though.. This is my casual game when im not playing my competative ones, and I only play solo. rushing people when they ask.
Pushing the greater rifts isn't that interesting, maybe it would be funner with a group when you have more of a role, especially in HC. Playing a game like Divinity in HC mode is much more a challenge then this game, which gives you so many cheat deaths its kinda silly
Sorry I'm not "man enough" to reach rank 5 on the ladder like someone said, (lol?) But I find it way too boring to continue, even getting past grift 80 was enough grind for me. I cubed my high level gems and some ancient gear to expirment with the game a little. Anyways have fun I'll see you in a few seasons as usual. Meanwhile ill play divinity hardcore, a much more challenging rpg that isn't so rng

Ancient everything BIS gear rank 30 on the ladder with plenty of time to keep pushing If i felt up for it, only playing a few hours each day, never died on hardcore, did all the journeys.. what else is there?
The challenge rifts are okay but not that interesting.
Im bored with this game again quickly after not playing the last 3 seasons.. anyone need a rush or want some gear? I think its time to go back to diablo 2 or divinity orginal sin again

Isn't poison DOTs already WD? bone necro was more dominate than poison Nova was.
I never tested the set because the others are already so strong, I play on HC, but the DR might be worth looking into

I know this is an old post but a lot of these replies are wrong. I play HD witch doctor for years and never had an issue dying.
1. You need your death passive always on spirit vessel
2. Get items that reduce damage % like Lakumbas bracers ukapien serpent kitty cat blood brother justice lantern etc.. unity is nice but if you can't find 2 right away use other options.
3. I'm using Jade harvester now on PTR with only 15 hours on my WD (with no rushing) I've completed level 57. You need soul harvest for the damage reduction so always make sure you have full 5 stacks. 10 stacks even better if you have Sacred Harvester weapon. Those bracers are godsend
4. Get a front line. I use the passive Fetish Syncophant but you also try something like belt of transcendence. I also use the belt that causes enemies to be slowed 80% affected by locusts swarm so nothing can surprise me or get past my front line.
5. Start slow until you have full stacks and a fetish army.. never take an unknown banner especially when you don't have your defences stacked.
6. Use appropriate skills and gems. Spirit walk probably best skill in the game to get you to safety. Horrify gives you 50% more armor so spam it in tough areas or use dogs to soak if you don't have fetish. Use topaz in your gear it helps with all res as well so you need armor and life on items more than all res. Legendary gems like estoic
I can edit and post more later but I have never lost a WD in hardcore. Neither should you. They are the best feeling for survival imo

I remember the other classes were in the same boat before. Every competitive game goes through these kind of pick and chose phases when there are changes. So if those are the classes you want to play just give it some time and try to enjoy them anyway
In the PTR right now I have a hardcore WD using the jade harvester set with some modifications and its pretty fun. Rank 12 or something because nobody else is doing what I am but im having fun with it and thats all that matters when it comes to Diablo

So I've taken a long hiatus from diablo 3 and have recently come back due to the much needed refreshing changes. I have noticed some legendary's and set items will get buffed in ROS 2.0 so my question is:
does anyone know the answer or heard anything regards to what will happen to our current legendary's and set items? Will they become "LEGACY" aka useless tools like previous patches or will they be hot fixed and retain value. I play HC where gold/ value is a bit different

I lost my 60 (6) DH about 6 months ago going afk to get a beer which I thought was a fitting death for me!
Anyway, just loaded up the PTR yesterday and decided to roll through some HC. There is a lot I do not know about the new patch; crafting materials; paragon levels; builds?; account bound items; etc.. But I am going to be up on and about on the PTR until RoS becomes available
If you would like to join me and share some experiences and loot feel free

Feb 17, 2013Lately I have been interested in using this skill. I first used it as a bleed effect in PVP to counter my brothers Rend. So after I left it equipped I found its very useful in high MP.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
If a target dies with this effect on, I use the increased duration for this reason, they explode dealing 50% of their max HP! That reminds me of corpse explosion. I am sure many of you have tried this already but with what results? I don't think TR monk is effect high mp so I have been trying this out.
This is what I do= Mark as many targets as I can right when 1 or 2 are about to die, and when that marked target is dead, it deals 50% of their hp which is usually over a Million damage.. Then that enemy dies and since he was also marked it basically turns into an instant type of chain reaction and they all die. So far I have had some pretty cool results, my only struggle is going against elites where it can be hard to get 1 to die while marked due to the danger and amount of hp they have, but once 1 dies with a mark, its pretty much instant NV.
What do you guys think about this skill?
Feb 17, 2013NoK posted a message on Heard some rumors about xp gem/ring is no longer needed.Firstly I am not an expert at this game I am just like you and want to see what works. So lately I have been farming higher mp levels 4-7 with my monk and have found that it is more effective/fun and I get more ilvl63 drops when I farm higher MP with DPS gear over low MP with XP gear. Like BagStone, I too say to myself, if equipping my nat's ring gives me 10% more dps and I lose my HF ring, is it worth it? My answer is yes. But if you do not have the gear that makes that big impact, I would recommend keeping your xp gear, farming low levels and work around with what you can.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
When I have amethyst in my helm, great DPS gear with some decent spirit regen, I survive longer and deal more damage. I found that I can tempest rush in MP4 and one hit most trash, and survive long enough to kill elites in a few seconds, much harder with those xp/ spirit regen items. If i can one hit mobs mp0- mp4, why would I chose mp0? It seems just as effective to me but than again, I don't study this game or make charts
Feb 6, 2013NoK posted a message on "Inigo Run" Best Legendary MF farming route (multiboxing, over 600 elite pack/hr)I just started playing this game again because of you streaming this build. Thanks for the additional informationPosted in: Diablo III General Discussion
