    They won't be useless. What i think he meant was that one cannot 'make' those runwords in NL. all the spirits, infinitys, etc. from NL originated from former Ladder characters.

    Good Interview. I AM getting tired of seeing basically the same interview over and over again with no real news coming from it. *sigh*...2011.. I will probably have children by then and might even be getting ready to go to Graduate school..how will I find time to play both my PS3 AND D3? if only there was a time machine...

    posted a message on Blizzard loses some minerals over BlizzCon
    Not suprising at all. For example, Sony actually takes a loss from every PS3 they sell but end up making up for it through a certain tax they charge to developers to release games (and since consoles usually have large game libraries, Sony can make a pretty pennie). The old saying is true here. You gotta spend money to make money. In Blizzard's case, the extreme amount of hype that is generated from a blizzcon pays off at release date with the lines of people at 12:00 a.m. at a gamestop waiting for the next WOW expansion or D3 :D

    posted a message on Diablo 3 Achievements
    Achievements in wow I thought were a joke, hopefully D3 achievements will be better. On A side note, the armory in wow imo was not intrusive in any way since everyone, in the end, had the same damn items anyways. PLus, looking at the specs everyone had was sort of dull since if you were looking at, lets say a mage, you practially saw the same three specs over and over again. sorry for going off topic.

    P.S. Binding is not a gear sink. Your not removing anything from the game. Just because my 1337 armor binds when I wear it doesn't mean its going to make yours any more valuable if you want to trade it, and it will probably make it even mro annoying to trade.

    I disagree, Binding causes the item to sort of "disappear" from the economy. Once you manually bind it to yourself, lets say for example an Enigma, that enigma is no longer part of the Diablo economy. The only person that enigma can help now is you (and hopefully your account ;)) only. This In turn WOULD make someone else's unbinded enigma more valuable to trade since their is one less enigma in the economy. As Demand goes UP so will the price. damn I talk too much.:cute:

    Wow while I wrote this, a bunch of other comments where posted making mine sort of useless :(

    You seem to have missed the point. I don't have trading aspects in my Diablo.

    Well, the majority of people DO like to trade a lot and want a good economy unlike in D2 which started good then went down the sinker as dupes flooded the economy. you are entitled to your 2 cents but in the end majority rules.

    I didn't question the statement "that wow generates more" nor did I say somthing "D3 will suck" all I'm saying is, that they shozuld focus on the things that made Diablo outstanding.

    WoW = MMO
    Diablo = ARPG

    So two different genres.

    Is it possible that D3's gonna suck? Absolutely. Good it be incredible? Absolutely. I didn't play it so I can't say yes or no. What I can is, judging the game what I've seen/read and like always I like some things others suck in my mind.

    I'm not against BoE because its from WoW I would hate it if it would be from any other game too, it just sucks. Theres really a small line between mixing two genres and usually it doesn't end well.

    Yes, yes Blizzard and they're gods and what not for some you, but you've to understand that that these guys are humans too, they will make mistakes and thats fine, because otherwise they would be AI'ers.

    as for MMO(RPG)'s
    free & good economy - EvE
    regulate & bad ecnomomy - WoW, Lotro ...

    OK OK OK...please explain WHY you think BOE "sucks" And please read Bashiok's reasoning behind it before you answer. I absolutely understand why it's being implemented in D3.

    That won't happen in Diablo. The only reason it happened in WoW was because the whole thought of PvPing in WoW is rediculous in the first place. The characters all have very different roles in WoW. Some are designed to deal damage, some are designed to survive damage.. others are designed for healing, etc. How do you balance it when classes like that, that are so different start PvPing with each other? It's just impossible to ever balance that correctly. They did a really good job trying to balance it in WoW for how far it was possible, but doing so imbalanced other parts of the game.

    In Diablo, every class is a dps class. They all do the same thing. Balancing a PvP confrontation between classes with the same purpose is much easier. In fact, a large part of that simply comes down to math:

    Dito
    You took the words right out of my mouth. Damn you and your quick typing!
    I was gonna say something around those lines, especially about D2/D3 classes being all DPS/damage dealing classes.
