We will bash every angel and demon we find if that means Sanctuary will be safe!
So I don't think it's impossible that we're going to fight angels.

She wanted to use the power of the Nephalem to stop the conflict and rule everything, if I'm correct. -

Yeah, I should have pointed that out a bit better. Here's a bit of lore history:
[spoil]
At some time during the Great Conflict one of the angels (Inarius) was sick of battle and decided to create a little world of peace called Sanctuary. This was a world cloaked from both the High Heavens and the Burning Hells by means of the Worldstone.
Here, both angel and demon could flee to experience peace, and that's where some mated. The child of this union was called a Nephalem, some hugely overpowered humanlike being stronger than angel or demon.
Inarius saw this creature and altered the Worldstone to dampen their powers. After many generations their powers diminished and that leaves us with the humans we know today.
[/spoil]
But I have no idea what happens when humans die in Sanctuary. Or how new angels or demons are created. I think only the priests of Rathma (necromancers) know the answer to that -

I mean, people in the sanctuary talk in english ? why not change the whole language at the same time ?
We don't know if the people talk English. If it would be another language then we wouldn't be able to understand, so everything is translated to English.
Say you're reading a story about an African village. The dialogue will probably be in English while the natives talk to each other in their native tongue.
I do believe that Sanctuary's Heaven will be a beautiful place, in contrast to the not so happy Burning Hells. What we do know that there are Angels who are not happy with the existence of humans, because they are demonspawn. I don't know how many angels agree to this view, but if there are a lot of them this might end in a giant 3-way battle between Sanctuary/Heaven/Hell.

I haven't read the Sin War trilogy or any other lore stuff. This is only my personal opinion combined with scraps of knowledge I gathered on this site. -

Do you mean the faded green/white?
Because those seem to be

and

From what I can understand from the code it creates a table with that background color. -
Jan 18, 2010Shatterer posted a message on New Forum Feature: Experience the ExperienceAs far as I know those bars scale with the width of the postbit; they don't have a defined width. Maybe that has some implications for those pictures you made.Posted in: News
I like where this is going. -
Jan 18, 2010Shatterer posted a message on New Forum Feature: Experience the ExperienceThe only thing that really distracts me is the lvl-up bar. That's probably better in the username-thing, since it seems a bit redundant in the postbit. To me the post-bit should show you the posting habit of the user, not when he gains a new level.Posted in: News
Still, cool system and I'm quite anxious to know what lies ahead. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Beethoven - Symphony No. 9
Part 1
Part 2
I only listen this when I've got the time for it. I mean, It's longer than an hour so it's not like you listen to it on the go.
Owl City - Fireflies
Ducktales Video Game - The Moon
The Beatles - Here Comes the Sun
Iron Maiden - 2 Minutes to Midnight

At this point I can't really remember him. Not much I can say besides that.
Lister the Tormentor - 50
Now HIM I do remember. Pain in the ass, although he is a good fight.
Radament - 80
A Greater Mummy with more skeletons around him than you can imagine. Pretty tough, but when you know what you're doing he's not so bad.
Lord De Seis - 50
I don't remember his Thief ability, but he has always been one tough enemy. Killed me more than a few time.
Fallen - 70
They're cute! Weak and easy yes, but I think they're cute.
Quill Rat - 40
Uninteresting and annoying at time. Some Uniques do tend to be quite painful and their projectiles look almost like rain.
Zombie - 30
Punching bags. Minus points for Plague Bearers and their resistances in hell. When I first met Dark Elder (Magic Resistant/Extra Fast) with a Stone Skin mod, I was shocked by the existence of total-immunes.
Wendigo - 40
I'd rate them 50, but because their sprites are pretty ugly they get -10. As far as I know they are supposed to have fur, but when I first met them I though they were walking rock or bark.
Corrupt Rogue - 50
Boring and bland enemies. Possibly overwhelming, but not impossible by any means.
Skeleton - 60
See the Corrupt Rogue, except that they are undead.
Goatman - 40
Even more bland than the rogues. For that they get negative points.
Bloodhawk - 40
Annoying little stingers. Fast and, well..., fast. Their nests are also pretty nasty.
Tainted - 70
I somehow liked these. I don't know why, but I think it's because they don't run away when they attack you from range. They also look a bit cool.
Giant Spider - 50
Running away and leaving behind those webs is pretty annoying, especially when you're a bit overwhelmed (e.g. in the Kurast Ruins) and need to get some fresh air. Their poison also hurts pretty good.
Wraith - 15
They've got nice sound effects, but that's pretty much it. Their sprites stack, which sucks when fighting a Unique and his minions. They also get minus points for dying in nothingness in the Arcane Sanctuary, thus not giving me their loot.
Vampire - 50
Cool enemies, but they should have given them another name. Vampires, really? They look more like some sort of Lich.
Fetish - 10
They're funny, but that's about it. They're fast, numerous and thus very deadly.
Leaper - 5
WHY. WON'T. YOU. STAND. STILL!
That pretty much sums them up for me.
Scarab Demon - 0
I gave the leaper 5 points because this is, by far, the enemy I hate most. Especially when you've got a lightning enchanted unique
Sand Maggot - 70
Now these guys are not so bad. When you have to fight a pack of them they become quite fun actually. Fighting through a huge horde of youngsters to fight the big bad uglies. The only thing that's pretty annoying is when the last survivor of a pack burrows itself. It's pretty much 2 seconds of doing nothing.

And I ask you this, did the Greek think there was a difference between wind and air?
And Rogue <--> Rouge is just plain silly.

I was referring to every possible atom, element and molecule when talking about what was on earth. This actually includes oxygen but it's so terribly vague that it was more of a feeler answer that anything else. When you defied that answer I read that as: it doesn't have anything to do with matter, but something else that is not in space but is on earth. At times I think too much for my own good
Also, is anyone close to acquiring a bomb yet?
FRUITCAKE!

And now for something completely different:
3B)The four elements.
Water, earth, wind and fire.

Such a shame he's so weak. I like the overlord enemy as a whole so he's no different. Bonus points for cool death scene.
Frozenstein - 70
You know, I somehow always have trouble with him. It's just that those big beasties are too fast most of the time. He also gets some bonus points, but this time for the name.
Bishibosh - 55
Even though he's a bit standard, he gets props for being inside a main camp with a lot of other shamans.
Corpsefire - 80
Mostly for nostalgia. First ever unique you should see. If I'm not mistaken he also dropped me my first unique.
Rakanishu - 77
What's there to say? Extra Fast and Lightning enchanted makes for one tough enemy for about any class. Also he's somehow the leader of the fallen, because even dark ones say his name.
Treehead Woodfist - 60
Teahead Woodfist: that's pretty much it. Also packs a mean punch together with his brute minions.
Beetleburst - 30
I don't like beetles and being a unique one didn't help. Can't remember much more from him.
Coldworm the Burrower - 20
Oh yeah, the random worm that dies in the mayhem when killing all those sand maggots. And, as seth said, as a cold sorc you're pretty screwed.
Fangskin - 5
Claw vipers can be a pain, but this guy takes it to the next level. I died waaay to many times by his hand. Or tail.
Ancient Kaa the Soulless - 50
I've got some sort of love/hate relationship with him. I have this knack of scouring every tomb of the magi, maybe even a couple of times, just because I think it's a cool location. Every time I enter a tomb I'm thinking "Is this his house?" So even though I hate his stats, power and army he's got some nostalgic feel around him.
Stormtree - 50
Neutral, so 50 points. Never got me in any trouble, nor gave me happy thoughts.
Grand Vizier of Chaos - 70
Cool name, but not that special in the end.
Infector of Souls - 60
Same as the Grand Vizier, but the name is not that cool.
Eldritch the Rectifier - 60
Not noteworthy, so 50 for that. 10 for the name
Sharptooth Slayer - 50
Same as mister firecracker, but without the name.
Pindleskin - 80
I enjoy the setting where you meet him, but not him in particular. He does drop nice stuff, if I can remember correctly, so points for that.
Colenzo the Annihilator - 70
Hero of the shamans! And pretty much dead when he spawns.
Achmel the Cursed - 50
Spawns with a nasty army, but not that noteworthy to me.
Bartuc the Bloody - 70
Cool name, really cool. Also, being a council member makes it feel pretty special to fight him. (At least for me it is)
-------
Also, I want to say that Bishibosh is in the list twice.

The earth's magnetic field interferes with the bonding, but since space doesn't have a natural magnetic field it doesn't interfere. The bonding, of course, is of an electromagnetic nature, that's why a magnetic wield would interfere.
(Which would be odd since there is a huge amount of electromagnetic radiation going on out there, but to be honest I'm just making some educated guesses. And if anyone objects to me guessing: you had plenty of time to reply and I want a new category!)

I guess I'll be the one to break the ice.
In space there is a vacuum, simply meaning that there are no other atoms (well, near to none). On earth there isn't so there are a lot of atoms. When two metal atoms meet each other on earth, there is too much interaction with other atoms around them so they don't form a pair. In space there is none of this interfering stuff going on around them, so it's more likely to adhere.
