first of all id like to say: The fire-enchanted mongrouls are nothing new. they were first seen in the gameplay trailer. you can actually see the process of summon mongroul then fireball on him at 16:28-16:30. watch the female witch doctor. also if you notice at 17:15-17:19, the fire mongroul's flame seems to have dimmed and lost color after taking a beating from the Siege Assualt beast. Is this a indication of each mongroul's health? or just that the fire slowely fades away?
as for the new monster, im LOVING it. and as someone said, it goes very well with tremors. whats what i thought of when i read about "being safe on the rocks." I think one of my favorite things about these is the idea of a pack comming after you, burrowed. since you can see them partially while their burrowed, it would be rather scary haha.
i just hope they dont turn out like the maggots and desert birds, where you cant hit them while their in the air/underground. lets also hope they are like sandleapers from act2. extremely fast and dart around with an occasional attack

maybe there will be an option to shut the characters up. im sure hearing it over the years will get annoying.
also i wanted to note that i LOVE the backstory blizzard created for the wizard. out of the 5 classes i think by far hers is the best. even the short story (wether it is actual blizzard lore or just a off-branch story) amazed me. she is just such a badass.

im not saying using diablo2's stat system. using something for user-distrubted points that each has an actual benefit worth putting points in. survivability, damage, maybe a MF/GF stat.... i dont have it all mapped out, but have something that allows the user to pick which direction he wants to make his character.
as for skill trees, i was refering to different types of builds. a sorceress maybe you wanted each of the 3 tress, fire, cold, and lightning. so you had to make and level 3 different sorceresses.
with the current system you only ever have to make ONE wizard with no need to ever make another. when you get top-notch gear, hit level 60, the only thing left is pvp. in d2 you could always make another character and experiment with fun builds, you could hunt for lvl 99, you could MF.... there was almost always something you could do. i dont see diablo 3 having the same replayability

1. Demon Hunter
2. Monk
3. Barbarian
4. Wizard
5. Witch Doctor
Pretty much exactly as I thought it would be for me. The demon hunter was pure gold. The monk was great until the SK when it just seemed to take awhile to kill him. Barbarian was great for trash mobs when they would explode and everything would die, but again the SK seemed to go down a little harder. Wizard felt underpowered to me (resource starved), guess im the only one who felt that way. Witch Doctor I didnt even try because the class doesnt appeal to me, not even in the slightest.
