first of all id like to say: The fire-enchanted mongrouls are nothing new. they were first seen in the gameplay trailer. you can actually see the process of summon mongroul then fireball on him at 16:28-16:30. watch the female witch doctor. also if you notice at 17:15-17:19, the fire mongroul's flame seems to have dimmed and lost color after taking a beating from the Siege Assualt beast. Is this a indication of each mongroul's health? or just that the fire slowely fades away?
as for the new monster, im LOVING it. and as someone said, it goes very well with tremors. whats what i thought of when i read about "being safe on the rocks." I think one of my favorite things about these is the idea of a pack comming after you, burrowed. since you can see them partially while their burrowed, it would be rather scary haha.
i just hope they dont turn out like the maggots and desert birds, where you cant hit them while their in the air/underground. lets also hope they are like sandleapers from act2. extremely fast and dart around with an occasional attack

at least 3/4 of those, if not more, are not end game items. the way they described inferno, that you would have to farm hell to get to inferno, then farm each act of inferno to get to the next, it just doesnt seem like there are enough end-game weapons to prove that method of farming.
plus i was teased when they initially launched the items page on the d3 website when they had all the stats, there was at least 350+ items. then they took the stats off, then slowly started removing items and the list is what its at now.

sorry, i fail to see your point. if youre refering to the point of there being random named legendaries with random affixes, if you scroll up to the first post on this page, youll see jays response that there are no random named legendaries with random affixes because that is no different than a rare. there may be a legendary that has all its stats random, but it still has a set name. if youre refering to another post, i dont see it. i was simply stating that it was a disappointment that the list of items on the strategy guide was so small.

should be the opposite. people who did the open beta should be awarded something for participating, because there was no limit who could play. it wasnt based on some rinky dink 'if your lucky' system

personally, i think ferrets (companion) are more of a low level skill, as in inferno you will need that 'lazy skill' for something that will keep you alive. vault (or) smokescreen i believe will become a NECESSARY skill also for when caltrops doesnt work. hell even in beta enemies walked through caltrops pretty quick. did you try it on scavengers?
also, unless you plan on just laying caltrops out the ass, i dont think the 'discipline replenish' rune in multishot will do you much good, best be used elsewhere. entangling shots rune will be nice for quick regeneration, but when face with multiple enemies, i'd rather have the extra 2 mobs slowed from chain gang, or the increased slow duration to get some distance

yeah this mildly sucks. but put your big boy pants on, stop your balling, and play the game

but in all seriousness, you will need to stop and grind if you are stuggling and cant beat content. one person may go norm to end of hell without dying once, another may get stuck in nightmare.... it all comes down to the player (and gear, of course)
