Well, there was another interview with jay Wilson defending the monk and the fact that he was not considered a returnng class since hellfire was not cnsidered cannon since blizzard did not make it. I don't think he would be as compelled to defend that fact if they were going to use another D1 class anyway.
P.S. I did enjoy readingthe thread. If anything to have all of those quotes put together. I think we need a section for all blizz quotes.

GREAT work. Amazing seeing where it started and where it ended. -

PhrozenDragon posted a message on Quest pagesThere's no point in just keeping one topic of remformatting up at a time, so I think we should start redesigning quest articles as well.Posted in: DiabloWiki
Like NPCs, they're mostly done, they just need a facelift.
Example page: Sisters'_Burial_Grounds_(quest)
The templates used are these two:
Template:Infobox Quest (Diablo II)
Template:Quests (Diablo II)
The infobox is the same basic design as the NPC. I though of changing it more radically, but I couldn't think of a good reason to change the design. Opinions are appreciated. -

OathofChaos posted a message on The Wait is Over -- PTR Patch 1.13Posted in: News & AnnouncementsQuote from "Lydeck" »Oh come on. People are pissed about what's on the patch, they're pissed about how much Blizzard built it up about it being so good. It's really pathetic it took them 8 months + to create this.
And yet... it really was only about two and a half months of work because of the Warcraft III security breach.... oh wait... lets throw out that because it doesn't fit your point. -

Magistrate posted a message on The Wait is Over -- PTR Patch 1.13Posted in: News & Announcements7) Hell yeah! And I would also reduce the power of Static Field (aka the one point boss killer) and give it a bunch of synergies instead. Wouldn't it be fun to have a Static Field build You reduce enemy health to a tiny tiny bit and then drop them with one nova or something.
Static only gets bosses down to about half and then casting it does like nothing. I do think it should be less effective at lower levels, as opposed to a smaller range. I think the range needs to be increased and the effects lowered. I mean, it's so counter-intuitive. Why should static be so small-ranged? Sorceresses are ranged characters. It just boggles my mind -.-' - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Hey man I respect your point of view, especially when you consider the complexity of languages. In games like D3, words are very important and subtle differences have a big impact on the overall perception of things (such as rage and fury). You are totally correct! Fury is much more related to the barbarian than rage is. Rage is more like an animal infuriated because you touched it's kids or because you stepped on it's tail ( my cat gets pretty angry when I do that (no I don't beat my animals :P)).
Just my quick and short reply
P.S: I know that Blizz called it Fury and Koodos to them for doing so!

"To reiterate what my TKD teacher said... if you want to survive in the wilderness... don't go there"
d What you think that people who crash into a forest decided to go there? Everything was planned (the crash I mean) ? The fact is, you get fucked when you least expect it. If you haven't read a scout handbook or been into the army, the only thing that can help you is your instincts, physical shape and knowledge. Seeing that in this situation they may be restricted, a show like Man vs. Wild can make you remember some useful tips in order to give you an advantage over your environment. It may be entertainment cause some british guy with an accent is showing you some of the most ridiculous things. The fact remains that most of the stuff he shows is real and can really save your life. For exemple, in cases of hypothermia most people tend to keep their clothes (soaked in this situation) on thinking that it will keep them cold when they should take them all off. When stuck into a crevasse, if you can see some cracks enter your hand and make a fist in order to climb up (basic hiking). I could go on and on. I'm not saying watch Man vs. Wild to be able to survive in the wild, I'm saying if you ever get in a survival position and the only thing you've watched is Man vs. Wild you're better off with this than nothing. The tricks he gives are decent and should be used.
What's wrong with the term tricks or Tips, this is what they are. Every technique should be used contextually and it's no different from any other discipline. Martial art positions, Flight procedures, military tactics.... they should all be put into a context and used as such. It is rather you that should use the correct term "trick" my friend.
BTW: I don't pretend to know shit, cause I've had lessons in survival, I know what I'm talking about.
