I find this hilarious, How many people here have actually played the Beta. I have and the game feels fine. I'm not saying the Fallen don't look weird, but really did they ever? And so what If they're colorful. I guess you want D3 to be unsaturate varying tones of grey huh, good luck with that you can make that happen with your monitor stop bitching because of a change colour palette. Colour is a good thing and it makes things stand out against various backgrounds, so when you're looking for that monster you fucking see it. I hope D3 is littered with rainbow shitting unicors and fluffy stuffed animals so i can watch all you guys QQ over it. The games fine from what I've played it feels like Diablo, looks like Diablo and isn't anything near WoW.FOR THE WIN! RAINBOWS AND UNICORNS AND SUNSHINE BITCHES!

posted a message on This Beta Is Not Making Sense
The way I see it is this, Alpha was a very buggy game that would crash and they couldn't really get it stable, then they tested for a little bit then threw the F&F beta at us with like 60 people, these people found superficial bugs, ie the ones you are talking about such as lagging animations and stuff. Then they opened it up and more people tested and they found some more but really there haven't been allot of bugs. Or at least huge ones that would fuck up the game. and lets face it what game these days doesn't have bugs. I think that their internal testers are currently testing the entire game. I think they are thoroughly checking every nook and cranny and finding each and every bug, and fixing the major ones now then the lesser ones later and the smallest at release. I don't think it is a marketing ploy, I just think they fucked up their time schedule. I think they under anticipated how many bugs are in the game and now have to adjust, and why take away the beta just to give it back later? pointless. This is why I think we haven't seen so many invites going out.

Why does everything that's bad have to be because of wow. It would actually make more sense to get D3 out because ppl will quit anyway, Draw them in with something else and you still make money. Why would you want to hurt your company.

posted a message on More accounts getting flagged, apparently
If they send out 1-2 invites of Bet-Opt ins which apparently there have been a very select few, then they can say the Beta is Live. Technically the beta is live. Technically they haven't lied. You guys are just butthurt that you haven't been invited and that they over hyped the beta. That doesn't mean they lied to you and it doesn't mean that the beta hasn't started. Just because you feel this isn't a "true" beta in your mind doesn't mean it isn't. They started the beta with a very select group get over it that you aren't in it. They'll send out invites eventually hell you may be one of them. Blizzard won't realize they messed up either all they'll think is oh shit we overhyped this oh well.

    Interesting how my post disappeared.

@Entity : Also i wasn't talking only to 1 person, i basically "answered" to all the posts in this thread. And if you check correctly you'll see that Xerlane was talking about AA making the textures better so you can basically quit crying.

Also there isn't anything that they could implement dx11 related except tesselation, and you won't see that happening anyway for a game like diablo. And like i said before AA isn't a dx11 feature.

you're making yourself sound stupider and even though I know you weren't directly talking to me about saying AA would make textures look better you said everyone who was saying AA would make the textures better, and that everybody implied everybody talking about AA in general. Second I gave a prime example of how Dx11 can be used in other ways BESIDES TESSELLATION. Tessellation isn't the only feature of DX11 it is a prime feature but there are others. Such as the example I gave of how there is better resource management between multicore/threaded processors so that the game can be better optimized for multi-threaded computers. This right here is a prime example of feature of DX11 we want to see in D3. Also Dx11 uses less memory of the computer, not only that but Dx11 also has better display scaling for when you use things like projectors or bigger screens. So don't be so quick to say oh no dx11, there are useful features that can be introduced that will benefit D3.

I actually like the newest one more. The design is much better than the others. the way everything stands now is perfect. All the slots are right where they should be, save for the amulet. It should be where it is but coming from a standpoint of it should be on your neck, it's in the wrong spot. I have to say I did like the 3d model but honestly this looks so much better. It shows you exactly what armor your character is wearing. The icons actually change with the different classes and portray what they look like on the 3d model except in a 2d image it is absolutely perfect that way to me. It doesn't feel rushed instead it feels as though they put even more time and effort into this one. You can see everything, Nothings shiny and out of the ordinary everythings tetris styled like d2 which i love, nice big inventory and if you watch HD quality vids like the ones synark123 has you'll see they are seperated by small rough lines. which is nice no need to add shiny looking effects to something made to look like old dry leather, or parchment. I personally love it. It looks very nice and well thought out. no problems with it here. This is the most diablo-esq one to date by far, gives you that old feeling, something from the 15th century and it's very gothic with the stained glass window styled border at the top.

    1. Nothing I have seen I don't like, unless of course you can't tone down that red outline when you have low health or the red outline on monsters.

    2. I hope there's an option for toning down the low health and monster outlines. I don't mind them being there but they are VERY strong. I actually low the low health warning, I just don't think it should take up half the screen, same with the monsters its SO MUCH, tone it down and lower its radius and i'm fine with it being there.

3 My favorite part is the music, OMFG as i listen to the HD quality vids on youtube by synark123 i just wanna have eargasms. They are amazing sounds everything just works and flows.

4 My biggest concern is that it doesn't coume out this year or I don't get into beta. It's amazing thats all there is to it.

The only real problem is your latency which isn't dependent on your Network speed, as long as you have a good broadband connection everything else is how far you are from the server. Farther you are the more lag you'll experience.
