posted a message on Diablo III Thoughts From Ex-Blizzard Employee
I swear, like half of these posters are just complaining about floating numbers, a feature in which we have barely any information on yet (why so much whining as if it was a sure thing that the numbers cannot be toggled). I really don't want to read through the same crap over and over from different users. Does anyone even read the thread to know what they've said has been stated dozens of times already? Add something new to the conversation, please. And stop acting like you all are masters at game design. From what I gather, it seems like you all just want to play Diablo 2 again with a graphics upgrade. What would be the point of years of development to release the same game with a makeover. Do you guys want Blizzard to be more like EA (by the way, I know they typically take less than a year to release sequels)?

It almost seems like Bashiok is a bit agitated by how...difficult these people are, making such statements as seen in the questioning.

Dude chill it is a word, he can say loot drops booty treasure or whatever he wants. He's not insulting you by saying it so i think you should waste less time wasting our time. Anyhow i think the system will be interesting and fun...worse case scenario i simply go back to playing D2 if the game is really that bad(which would require a conscious effort on Blizz' behalf imo)
Words are important, Didn't your English teacher tell you that?
And if you're really a Diablo fans, the worst-case scenario would most logically be 'you'll get used to the system'. Besides, Blizzard won't screw up. It's impossible.

posted a message on If Diablo3 didn't succeed...
It is very unlikely that Diablo 3 will fail because fans will go out and buy it anyway and any aspects of the game that they don't like, they'd get used to it.

I know this would make no sense at all, but I want a Samurai class. He would be similar to the Knight posted above.

    Hello to you.

I don't want to create my own intro thread, but I do share that feeling you had when you heard of the game's announcement, and the excitement currently harbored.

I think anyone who reads the petition and looks at all the screen shots posted would sign it. Im very sure of that.

I did not really like the graphics/colours too much but I wasnt that mad, but when I saw the before and after screenshots that diehard fans have created, I realised how much better this game could be. It made me kind of angry too, about the whole WoW feeling. http://www.petitiononline.com/d3art/petition.html

I looked at these screenshots. The only one that I thought was a real improvement was the first photobucket link (http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l318/frostwake/Diablo32.jpg). Everything else was too gray, or too dark to see anything.

    Like this one:

I can barely even see anything in this one. How do I play a game where everything is a black blob in a black-gray-ish blob environment? I don't understand why one would think next-gen graphics should only be dark brown, dark gray, and loads of black, all with excessive film grain (like in one of those "improved" screenshots (http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/7807/itshouldrh5.jpg)? Please, I don't want my eyes to start hurting watching those sort of graphics.
