I'm also fairly sure most people would prefer to be anonymous from time time to for whatever reason. I know D3 has a bunch of MMO devs who think forced socialization is the bestest thing ever...but seriously...sometimes we want to be left alone.

So if you really want to get down to it, the game should be rewarding those who are challenging themselves more than those who are not.
No, it really isn't just semantics. The reward is the chest itself (or shrine, although I don't like the shrine-only ones), which you get no matter what. You're talking about the second chest, which is a bonus for completing five waves within the time limit. If you're not even close to completing the event, you're not geared/specced well enough. Don't ask to nerf the challenge; rise to it.

I've noticed that if you are playing on a difficulty which challenges you at all the chances of you successfully completing these events rapidly approaches zero. I'm not saying they should be outright nerfed, but it would be nice if there were some way they could make them challenging, but still possible even on difficulties that provide some challenge to your character.
Blade wings are for anyone that bought online deluxe as well, not even preorder. I have them because im a SC2 player anyway. If everyone wanted them, everyone would have them. I dont see the problem of the wingz of valor...... everyone has them, who cares? Can some of these people only feel good if they are the only one feeling good? Why do you care if someone else has the wings for fuck sake. Personally im using blade wings on my DH and wings of valor on my Crusader. Love the contrast.

Just an opinion mate, no need to go hostile.
I didnt mean a single person in particular, thats why i said some these people. Its a huge complaint even on the official forums, i just dont like the attitude in general, just be grateful for these kind of meaningless gifts. Personally i rather video game company go away with ingame gifts on preorder and collection stuff, its just bad taste to me, but its great marketing. Collection should be physical collection stuff, you know a statue, a keychain, an art book, you know collection stuff.
I dont see why it should only be people like me that get collector edition that should get ingame stuff like wings, it shouldnt be the selling point of a collector edition, if it is, it means the package is pretty poor to be honest.
It seems you didn't completely read what I said. I said the Wings and the Dog should be swapped. Wings should be CE to stay with the pattern and give the dog to pre-orders. You still get a shiny cosmetic item and Wings stay a staple of CEs.
But it's a great way to get info out fast. Very often they post the official patchnotes and info that the patch will go online during maintenance. I think twitter is a very good thing because all you need to keep up to date is follow the people and you get all the infos.
It's OK for "emergency" info...like server has crashed and they are aware of it.
But big announcements should always be posted on the official website first, then they can tweet their brains out informing people it was posted.
If when the servers come back up the AHs are shutdown and everyone's items returned. They could say something they wanted to prevent the incoming buying and selling frenzy...
