posted a message on How long until Blizzard fixes people "cheesing" normal mode?
I mean it's just so ridiculously pathetic...and the kiddies don't even understand why it's pathetic. That really is the saddest part...they don't see anything wrong with just facerolling easy content for shinnies...

Edit: Blizzard really does need to actually make a real risk vs. reward system and stop taking shortcuts.

Items need to actually be tiered through all difficulty levels, not just a jump at T1.

I don't throw around the word "entitlement" often....but damn this gamer generation (who just got a trophy for showing up) really are an entitled lot who think they deserve the same or better than those who got the special item by doing what you were supposed to do to get it.

I hope they enjoy their welfare yellow wings, I will proudly be wearing my white ones.

posted a message on It really is time for Blizzard to stop being lazy.
I don't know about other "legit" players, but I'm seriously getting tired of being punished for what exploiters are doing. (no I'm not interested in arguing over whether farming of these is/was exploits.). I do agree that all of these needed a fix, but I'm tired of them taking the lazy way out.

    1. People are farming urns...nerf urns.
    2. People are farming resplendent chests...nerf resplendent chests.
    3. People are farming Nigel Cuthroat...nerf Nigel.
    4. People are farming scorpions...nerf scorpions.
    5. People are farming aspects...nerf aspects.
    6. People are farming Mira...nerf mira.
    7. People are farming CotA...nerf CotA (and any other place with "easy" mobs.
Like I said, I agree they needed to fix these, but they need to do something more elegant that doesn't punish regular people. Off the top of my head a timer or a diminishing returns system, or a combination of the two.

There are always going to be epeen waivers looking for the path of least resistance, stop punishing me because of them.

Yup, you both completely missed the point of this thread. I'll reiterate it for you.

I'm not interested in arguing whether you think these are exploits or not.
The point is Blizzard thinks they are, and took care of them.

    3. Farm max ammount of levels in Cota untill mobs become too hard to kill with current lvl60 gear. Maybe will get lvl 62-64?

LOL wtf, cota? how can u do cota when new content is out...jeez, what do u guys even play this game for? plus if u clear to diablo and not kill him...you cant even do act V, so u gonna cota ur way to 70 to get a guaranteed leg from diablo and not even see the new content? cool plan.
LOL...you took the words out of my mouth. I'm amazed that so many just treat the game like factory work, mindlessly grinding the same things over and over. Also annoyed that things keep getting nerfed because of them.

Funny coincidence, they remove the AH the same day I stop playing ^^

Might be back one day... but sure as heck not gonna pre-order any RoS. Happy gaming. RIP AH. Maybe we will see you again some day, from developers that want to make some progress.

It invites laziness and looks unprofessional.
But it's a great way to get info out fast. Very often they post the official patchnotes and info that the patch will go online during maintenance. I think twitter is a very good thing because all you need to keep up to date is follow the people and you get all the infos.
It's OK for "emergency" info...like server has crashed and they are aware of it.

But big announcements should always be posted on the official website first, then they can tweet their brains out informing people it was posted.

posted a message on They should have made the Wings of Valor CE Only!
Now that you all have your pitchforks and torches...I really do mean that.

I would have preferred to keep the wings CE only and had given the Spectral Hound to Preorders. I like the idea of keeping all of the Wings tied to CE's. It would have gone with the pattern they were establishing.

    Tyreal Wings = D3 CE

    Blade Wings = SC2:HotS CE

I know many will disagree, but that's my opinion. I'm not going to fume and obsess over it though ;)
