My bad, I meant fan favorite. Blizzard's words, not mine. ^_-

Quote from "akse" »Thats why there should be limit in party size not the game size. If you play with 4 friends all the time.. doesn't it feel like playing in LAN if you never see anyone else in the games than the party you are with? So 8-16 game limit depending on the size of the areas etc. But 4-6 party limit.
Quote from "russianKd"" »Lol, what do you mean, male assasin. Theres going to be male and female versions for every class.

I just hope it doesn't spawn more cow rushing and looting, and crap like that.
By the way if you read the interview you'll notice they're not positive if the Cow Level will return.
We don’t really know at this point. I really like the idea of secret stuff that ‘Diablo II’ put forward, but it’s not the kind of thing we would decide this early. But if we have something, I can assure people will be happy with it.

It's not really useful but it's a nice addition I guess. They're probably have it in D3.

Wow hey your right, that's very interesting and very, very possible. xD
D2 and LOD both came out on June 29th, LOD exactly one year after D2.
And Diablo came out in 1997, making 2009 it's 12th Birthday! 1 + 2 = 3! Diablo 3!
D3 was announced June 28th.. well that's close enough.
But wow that's amazing. It's a great guess that Diablo 3's coming out June 29th 2009. xD

Oh well. I'm positive now this won't be coming until 2010 or late 2009.

But are they implying they'll release an expansion shortly after D3 comes out?
I guess it's not a bad thing, it's just LOD came out about year after D2. :3

I mean the idea of Diablo just coming back like that is so mainstream; The return of diablo.
It's 50/50 for me. I'm thinking somewhere along the game they'll be a flashback of Diablo,
which means the Diablo were seeing here doesn't actually exist in the current time line. Just a thought.

As long as the achievements are varied and unique, it's all good.
I'm sure this'll add more playability and gives fans a lot more to do online.

Maybe Blizzard will surprise everyone and release it even earlier.
I quote from wiki; Most of the game mechanics and physics are complete and undergoing minor revisions. Most of the current and remaining development will focus on adding game content.
That and the fact that they've been working on it for three years now, going on four soon.

I don't think it'll be too hard to avoid those mainstream games where everyones just doing their thing, especially since games probably won't hold more then 4-5 people. Just make some friends and stick with them. My 5.1 speakers and 24" monitor are all I'll really need to enjoy my first play through D3.

1) Players are given free items if they register a B.net account. Maybe a special weapon with a time duration or low durability that isn't necessarily strong, but has unique properties like the use of another classes skill or something.
2) A demo for an upcoming Bliz game that is only playable after registering for B.net.
3) A 30-day trial to have an expanded inventory. For example I hear the Barbarian had greyed out slots in his inventory meaning he couldn't carry as much.
4) Exclusive interviews, behind the scenes, artwork, bloopers, any kind of special features only available somehow after registering for B.net. Maybe instead of just registering, you have to play online for a certain time. Nah, I guess that's too harsh.

Oh that is so sweet!

This is old news from Rob Pardo, executive producer of D3. I think he gives a lot of insight into how D3 will function online, at least in terms of players. I was wondering maybe you guys could draw out some conclusions from what he's said so far. Obviously they'll be way more content in D3 compared to D2, right? Probably way more places to explorer, etc. I'm guessing a single room will only support one continent or even half a continent (judging by the current world map) which will probably be massive on it's own. With them only supporting a handful of players per game, I can't see why they'd make every place in D3 available in one room. This makes me wonder if they'll have the option to change and choose different rooms while in a room, just a thought.
