Okay nevermind the help. I got a wizardspike from a nice person on bnet. Not that any of you dicks would even help anyway. With my wizzy I shall conquer all corners of hell itself and hopefully find some sweet loot in the process.

posted a message on Hellish Suggestions for D3
Worst fears... I am playing a barb and the entire map is full of oblivion knights. Not cool man, not cool.

I would like to see some side quests that bring you to the little areas that are far less explored. When was the last time anyone went into the hole in cold plains? Hardly anyone does but it'd be cool if some random encounters happened while venturing in these areas or have quests that direct you to go to these places.

posted a message on US West beggar
I need some help on US West ladder. I just started like 5 days ago. I have my paladin to level 82 in hell. The problem is he really is in bad shape. What I am asking is that if you have extra junk that you used to use but can't or have no need for anymore. Please throw it my way. I hate to be a beggar. I won't take any elite items, that is not what I am after. I just want the junk so that maybe I can survive in hell a bit better. Hell even if you don't have items to give away, maybe just trade them for cheap or for gems or something. I am desperate. I would be very much appreciative of anything you can help me with. Thanks.

posted a message on Coolest D2 spells
Frozen Orb is badass. It doesn't quite do the greatest damage but it attacks the entire screen even behind you all the while slowing enemies. There are a ton of skills that were great but I think Frozen Orb looked the coolest and had one of the best effects especially in the earlier difficulties. Second up I think Concentration was a cool skill. It always looked like spiderwebs or something wrapped around my heroes feet not to mention great party affecting bonus. I just have to throw this in there. Valkyrie, hands down the most powerful summon in the game in my opinion. I can recall times that my merc died on Diablo and my valk just tanked his ass.

posted a message on Forced party
I didn't have a chance to read through all the previous posts so I may be reiterating something someone has already said.

I wonder if one of the features they intend to "monetize" will be the ability to purchase arenas for pvp play. P2PvP???? Just a quick thought. Your thoughts on that subject?

posted a message on Weren't we supposed to hate Blizzard for the new class?
Maybe with the introduction of the wizard and the auto stat idea people will realize their wizard may never gain enough strength to wear the high defense armors. i.e. archon plate, sacred armor. Instead they will be forced to wear low defense ones such as light plate and mage plate. That is the feeling I get when they said that. That was a bit off topic so I'll get back on.

I have no idea why anyone would be mad about the unveiling of the wizard. Maybe the class name choice of wizard. I for one thought that the wizard is very sorc like but even more badass than I imagined a revised sorc would be. The class name is the only thing I have seen people debating about after they announced that char so my guess is the class name is why Blizz thought everyone would hate them.

posted a message on Auto Stats and Vitality
I really really hope that the stats auto allocation is just part of the demo. I fear it is not. I have read many statements that ask me to embrace blizzard's chance. I simply cannot do this. Allocating my stats was a big part of the game for me. I had the choice of whether I wanted to spend the points in strength to wear that sweet ass archon plate or go a little lower and sacrifice defense for a little more vitality or a better block chance. I feel that if they keep the auto stat I will be forced to wear items of a certain quality. I would like to be able to allocate my own stats how I see fit. If I screw my character up in the process then I remake and I learn from that mistake. I think it is great what they are doing with the skill rune concept. It is seriously a cool idea. The auto stat idea is a terrible one. I may have to wait for more info to come out about it but as I see it now. It looks like I will stuck bewtween a rock and a hard place and unable to wear a heavier armor than what the game tells me I should. This is rediculous. I want to be able to make my toon unique in that respect. If they made it so you could spec the stats how you'd like as well as specialize your skills with runes then that would add another layer of uniqueness to my character. As it is they have replaced one feature that allows customization for another. I want to have my cake and eat it too. Blizzard please don't make this a permanent feature. It will ruin this game in my and many others opinions from what I have gathered so far.

posted a message on /arcade mode
I am starting to lose faith in this game. I've hungered for years for this game to be served up. It seems now that all it is going to be is a shit sandwich. I won't bite. I am no longer going to purchase this game as I see it now. Blizzard is going to have to do some serious foreplay to get me back in the mood. Utterly disgusted with this shit they are doing to the best franchise in gaming history in my opinion.

posted a message on Character Stat Assigning
Damn I don't even know what to say about this. This blows my mind and not in a good way. I always liked the fact that I could use charms and gear bonuses to give me the strength needed to wear my gear so I could pump my vita up. I always thought it was great to mow down hordes of monsters while some kid in the back is hollering "Where is your gear? Are you naked?" It was always a challenge to squeeze every last bit of strength from charms and such to make my toon fully strength glitched. I sacrificed precious inventory space to make my builds happen. I guess on the bright side now I can just load up on mf charms(if they even exist in d3) and mow through the hordes while Blizzard tells me what items I should wear. Pitiful what this game is becoming. Next up...auto skill distribution. This is a bad bad thing. I am having trouble seeing the positives of this system.

posted a message on New Class Announced: The Wizard
One spell I haven't seen named but am 99.9% sure it will be on the wizard is "Blizzard" It just wouldn't be a blizzard game without that spell available. Who knows maybe I am wrong about it being on the wizard but it will surely be in the game. You can quote me on that.

posted a message on New Class Announced: The Wizard
Aww man this is killing me. I am at work and the firewall blocks all videos and links. I only saw the char selection screen. I already know what class I will be. Wizard. Hands down. I love being the caster class. My first chars were always the caster type. I haven't even had a chance to see what all this fuss is about but I am sure as shit I will be a female wizard as soon as I get this game installed. Now that they have satisfied me the hard part begins. Picking a name for my little chica. I can't wait to get home and watch the new gameplay vid and all the screenshots.

posted a message on PvP Dueling Ante
I think this idea has potential. One thing that pops into mind when I think of this ante duel scenario is. How will it be handled if you are hostile to multiple players? Would it be best to make it so that you can not be attacked by other hostile players until your ante duel has been completed? What about team duels? Odd man duels? i.e. A level 90 vs. a level 70 and 75. Great potential here but many tweaks would be needed. It'd be nice to see something like this in D3 for sure.

posted a message on tell your best mf moments here!
In terms of the best gear I have found was a near perfect crown of ages off the 3rd wave in a baal run. I think it is best when you find a killer unique or something off just some random monster while clearing an area. I got a soj off a fallen in act1 and a perfect bk clearing tristram. I also found a 40 life jav gc off trav council. Finding high runes in cows or clearing the pit is also a nice feeling. That to me is more rewarding than even the badass coa I got.

posted a message on Support the 'Pure' mode
    Quote from "mahamoti" »
The only purpose of soul-binding items would be to prevent people from buying godly items using real money from farming companies. Your suggestion of limited soulbinding for personalized items only is terrible...because it no longer achieves the goal of eliminating (or even reducing) the buying/selling of corporate-farmed items, but it also ruins personalization...nobody would want to personalize a good item if it ruined that items trade value.

Also, you state that "you oppose pure mode except for hardcore." Look, let me remind people once again, we are referring to it as "pure MODE" because it is a special MODE, which does not apply to regular online play, and is designed to accomodate the more serious players only without affecting gameplay of people who are happy with the plethora of farmed items. That said, pure mode could be used in hardcore, or it could be a third option. I dont think its reasonable to have there be 3 different play options, that just splits the community up more than is necessary..considering that it is designed to cater to the more "serious" players already, and so is hardcore, they should be combined.

No what I meant was, a godly item coming from a certain quest that once you select your reward/the weapon/armor or whatever it may be it gets personalized and soulbound. You are absolutely correct, it is a terrible idea. It would do nothing to curb 99% of all the other gear people would spend real money getting.

posted a message on Paladin Build fast please
    Quote from "Carloseus" »
That build is great for damage and mf maybe, but its not fast at all. Your build gives a total of 80% FCR. The top (and most efficient) breakpoint for a paladin is 125. Faster and therefore more efficient than a high damage build. Especially if your speciallizing on PvM where speed means everything.

Helm: Harlequin Crest w/ber runes or if you manage to find yourself a 2/20/20 pally circlet.
Armor: Enigma. Mage for no str points, Dusk for medium, AP if you got a little more cash.
    Boots: Stormtreks
Belt: Arachnid Mesh. FCR is important.
Shield: Pally spirit with high resistances
    Rings: Stone of Jordan.
    Amulet: 2/2 Seraph's Hymn
    Weapon swap: Call to arms
    Weapon swap: any spirit

Of course you want a torch and anni to help take away from the points you place into strength. Skills are also good. Merc gear is also correct. Though it might take some time and cash to actually find that stuff.

In the end your build is again great for damage, but not when you gotta tele quickly and swing hammers.

I was replying to the original post. Dude wants a pally that is good for pvm and pvp. This build seems to work well for me. I never claimed it was the fastest. Faster is better in some cases but this build is fast enough and tank enough which is where I like it. I have seen many a hdin get cut down by souls. While arachs is faster and more dmg. Tgods comes through for me here. Though your points are valid. It all comes down to personal choice. Now he has the info. Let him decide which he prefers. There are more ways than one to skin a cat. That's why diablo rocks.
