Greetings guys ive been busy working on the next fiery runes image. This next one im working on i think is a little bit more important that before. Think it will be an image people have been looking for, this early into the life of the d3 community.

Since Blizzard beat me to the Leah wallpaper image, thought I'd give it my fiery runes wall touch. I used their image of her from the concept art page. Did a little tinkering and had some fun. I was working on this before Tyrael, but I wanted to wait a little. One reason the way I had the original angled fiery circle would have not worked so well.

Glad I waited and improved the circle now this wall works, and I will make other wall sizes in the next day or so.

Update: Sorry it took me a little bit to notice but 3 versions of my barb 2 wall had a black line through him, ive since fixed it and centered them a little better as well.

I wouldn't mind, i registered there, but i cant even upload any wall art. WHen i post a new wall ill add forum posts to your blog as well, so might as well make a wallpaper/fan art forum too lol

This wallpaper was a long time coming, this guy besides Deckard IS my fave character in this game. This guy was a total badass, whenever he wasn't weakened. With that I took a screenshot from the Diablo 3 website and started going cut out crazy. I did like I've done in the past, painted around the edges of the person or art piece I want cut out. But I did another cut out. I wanted to make sure the wings stayed bright so I cut them also as a separate layer.

The wings: These wings are the most original style I've ever seen. One thing I've seen with many wallpapers of this pic, the wings people either fade off or leave cut off. I did my best to draw them farther off the edge of the screen since blurring them off and leaving the chopped off bothers me to no end. I also made sure these wings looks as clean as I could. When I did the cutout it didn't look so well, so I did my best to smooth them, blurr them, and then I added the glow to them. I was very please with the result.

The Little Details : I made sure the area where the d3 logo was, was faded out nicely and the way it turned out I couldn't be more pleased. Now this is where I went to greater lengths to make this look awesome. Wherever the wings weren't glowing and the feather looking armor was on a black backdrop and darker, I made sure that had a black fade edge to make it look smoother. The areas where the wings shone brighter around the feather armor I did a lighter corona effect that matched the wings.

The Runes: I had noticed my fiery rune circle had gotten more and more elongated up and down, it slowly started to look like the circle again. I went and redid the circle and got a better more balance fiery ring angled circle.

To me guys this wallpaper has as much care taken into it as my first female Witchdoctor wall. Now I hope Tyrael isn't to blurry, Ii did build this graphic from a larger size than 1920x1200 so it shouldn't be too bad. I will upload the other sizes soon, I don't want to mess this image up and screw up all the wings and things.

Please let me know what you think, did I do well, did it suck worse than previous walls? I want to know. Because otherwise how can I make better fan walls?

Hey there again guys, thought i'd come back with another fiery rune wall with the male barb, this pose i saw in the concept art trailer, i thought was great, so i cleaned the edges cut em out and tossed em in the fiery rune circle.

Hope its not to dark, not to light, and has a decent cut around. Any suggestions, comments or ideas let me know.

I will upload the other wall sizes later today. Wanted to get the big wall out there first!

I remember when that painting first came out i thought it was just as some said; epic. It was just plain bad ass.

Just Updated the image let me know what you guys think, i think it looks a little cleaner now but thats me, but what matters is what you guys think, please let me know

I use Corel Photopaint 8, the style i use is my eyes, a paint tool, and a very steady hand, when i cut her out, i do a cut out effect that makes the edge fade from dark to light, so the edging would look smoother, i use the same style on the Deckard Cain image, especially the Male Witch Doctor II, and female witch doctor, try to avoid as many jaggies as i can. They annoy me to death and makes an image not look very well done.

PS: By the way i just noticed a few of those areas you said didn't look very well cut, thanks for the comment, God knows it just helped this image a little.
