Jan 17, 2013Aldrek posted a message on Message from Jay WilsonAs soon as I saw "A Message from Jay Wilson" on the Facebook page I knew it was gonna be him stepping down as director. Can't say I didn't see it coming, either. Diablo III has gotten very boring for a lot of people, and they're very slow to add the fun back into the game. I hope he has better luck on whatever he moves on to.Posted in: News

I find three Uniques an hour in Torchlight 2, and it's way more exciting than loot in DIII. They need to stop worrying about balance and the AH and start worrying about how fun it is to find Uniques everywhere, even if we don't use them.Quote from UberMey

While I really like that they doubled the drop rate, 0.00001% doubled is still only 0.00002%. While those are definitely not the actual drop rates, it gets my point across that it's still going to be a stupidly low drop rate. They should have increased it tenfold.
the less the 'double' means, its better than nothing ... Im ok with the change
just take some time to farm now ... lets say I hope to find 3 legendary a week instead of 2 (I know rng is rng) but, you know what I mean eh ... just keep farming and you will find =P

Looks like just the colored text is missing. Is it really gone? Maybe it just blends in. Probably unlikely.Quote from Sojourna
Quote from MolsterQuote from SojournaFor those who may experience problems viewing this Blizzard blog on DFans, such as myself, you will need to disable AdBlock+ to see it properly. Or if you don't want to, you can view the blog via Blue Tracker or from the original source.
what problems is that?
Well...
I also can't see any text in the quote box in shootingbull's post nor the blizzquote in Aldrek's post. Again, the problems went away once I disabled AdBlock+ but normally I don't need to. /shrug
Your AdBlock is probably blocking the chuck of HTML that displays the colored text. That's how those things function. Try adjusting the settings for the site and see if the text pops up again. -

Also in before people complain about the art being "softer" than the pixel sprites that DII was. -

I love this. Make us work for everything, please. Don't hand stuff to casuals. Don't make this WoW.4) Not everyone is going to get to Inferno. I thought Blizzard said a while back that most players will quit after Normal? So...rather than letting everyone play around with rank 1 runes and at least see the various effects you aren't going to let them see them at all?
Totally! Reward for more invested players, and very likely a way to entice players not to just stop at Normal. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

There has to be something that can be done aside from just banning them all, otherwise the whole Internet would be covered in a think crusty layer of spam, and we all know that only 90% of the Internet is spam.

I don't think Life on Kill has reduced effectiveness. I can't find anywhere that says it is reduced, and the game guide just says it's Life Steal that gets reduced. It is possible the game guide isn't 100% correct though.
There's no proc rate on Life Steal like there is with Life on Hit (and Life on Kill, depending on how you define "proc rate"). If you do damage, you get health.

These aren't even the same five posts that were there 15 minutes ago when I was browsing on my phone. Nor is it the first time all five posts were spam posts.
I realize they probably get deleted quickly enough, but is there a solution to this being worked on? Just in the time I've taken to upload that image and type this up there's been three more. It's pretty annoying not having any actual recent posts to view.

If I need the health, then I use it immediately.
If I don't need the health, but won't need it in the near future, I use it for the damage.
If I don't need the health, but might need it in the near future (playing it safe with potentially-dangerous packs), I'll save it for when I need it. If I gauge that the pack isn't dangerous enough to warrant saving it, I'll just use it whenever for the damage.

If you want to try a new build, try a 2H build or, since you have that nice sword, a DW Frenzy build or a WW build.
If you're adamant on staying a tank build, you're just gonna have to up the stats I already listed. I think you might be able to swap an armor passive (whichever gives less armor) for a more offensive passive without having too much more trouble. Try Ruthlessness or Berserker Rage.

Depending on your survivability, you might be able to swap out something defensive like Leap for something offensive like Battle Rage. I'd never get rid of Ignore Pain: Ignorance is Bliss, since it heals me to full when I use it.
My character profile is also linked below. My gear isn't awesome, so as long as your defensives are good you should be ok.
I like Frenzy because the increased attack speed gives you a lot of bonus mobility, and it works better with Life on Hit than Bash does. I use Maniac instead of Sidearm with 2H builds because the increased damage really works well with the already huge damage of a two-handed weapon. Sidearm is good for the fast attack speed of a one-handed weapon.
I use Superstition just because I really hate elemental damage more than physical damage. I can deal with physical damage, but there have been plenty of times where the extra few seconds of survivability have helped me bring down a pack that I was fighting in a bad spot. Of course if you have tons of resists and not a lot of armor, pick the armor passive that gives you the most armor.
