That's why i say:
Each Blizzard production has it's own following of fans.
I would go as far as saying that diablo has a lotta fans that dont play
any of the other games from blizzard. The same with star- and warcraft.
Now for a person like you, MD, having a DIABLO expansion in WoW would be awesome!
Not for me, I would try it, but it would mean I have to buy WoW, use my ten day trial then see if i like or dislike.
Blizzard wants that, i can assure you.
They want WoW to continue ruling MMO's.
I know I'm being a bit repetetive with the whole WoW+Diablo thing,
but I am sticking to my guns.
Hey, if this is the case at least DIABLO isn't a dead franchise, now, is it?

blizzard wont make an MMO to rival WoW. but they want to please DIABLO fans.
A WoW Diablo/sanctuary expansion where you get to play as a few new classes
including the ones we love: Necro/barbarian etc...

As with anyone here I am an avid DIABLO fan.
With that out of the way I’m asking for just two minutes to read this quick post based on my theories and ‘expectations’ of the pieces of the puzzle I have put together
First of all, I’m not gonna quote or debunk MD or UMARO on this because we have all read the FAQ so listen up. My theories are as such.
1.) On May 1 2008 there will be an ‘official video’ placed on the homepage of this site which will confirm the existence of some sort of Diablo production for gaming – not a feature film.
2.) This video will confirm life of a ‘diablo project’ (hence the heartbeats) but will not state what the project will be titled and will not include gameplay footage, only those visual awesomeness blizzard conjures for all their games.
3.) The video will contain no dates or production lines (to confirm MD’s statement that it would not be an official announcement)
4.) All the abovementioned should rationally result in a resounding WTF? and ZOMG! in all fairness, because its what you get from viral marketing.
2.) WorldofSanctuary/Diablo. Could be awesome, but Diablo is and always should be, based on singleplayer. You know? That mode of gaming so many have forgotten how cool actually is.
3.) A Diablo Sandbox editor or something like that. Why?
Btw, Blizzard will never make this game any less than it should be. Awesome. And to all the hype that came b4 Blizzcon07: Blizzard’s homepage timeline that appeared at their site last year, clearly had a sci-fi motif to it. They were telling us from the get go that it was starcraft. Yet we all sat hoping. Eight more days people, eight more days.
