Some of his list I liked, others not so much:
Sygian dolls of exploding death are the most annoying monsters in D2 next to iron maiden chaos knights. Seriously, they pretty much made the chaos sanctuary completely horrid for a barb.
I really don't agree with him ragging on the Tainted, those guys were actually fun to wail on. As were the gargantuan beasts and yettis and all the massive sized guys.
The vampires were cool, so what if they weren't the vampires of our world, I liked them. They were a pain, but beatable.
Please don't diss the council members, I loved fighting them.
Oh and the coolest thing to me the first time I played D2 was going from having some leach and thinking I owned the place in act 1 to running aorund the sewers and discovering the hard way you can't leach from undead. It was a cool way to smack you upside the head.
Oh and yeah, glooms can be left out as well.

If they actually made the Poleaxes look bigger, I would like them.

So what if this is the backstory on the goatmen in D1 and D2. There is nothing in this that says they are changing anything. It doesn't contradict in any way with the rest of the lore so they aren't changing anything, mearly filling it out.
The diablo 2 lore even says they are half goat half man.

I would reccommend just reading it and then reading sin war or moon. They aren't exactly tied together, though I would suggest reading kingdom of shadow prior to Moon. As it involves a character in both books.
Oh and I would say so far, Demonsbane and kingdom of shadow are my two favorites. I wish Demonsbane wasn't an ebook as it was a really cool read and would love for it to have been longer.
Black road was good, but with how it jumped around.... it wasn't the best.
Legacy of Blood is good, but unlike most on here I do not think it is the best non sin war book.

If I am going to go running around in full plate with a great helm, greaves, gauntlets, and a gianormous 2 handed axe, all the while jumping, spinning and running nearly continously...I don't think the weight of the loot I am carrying needs to be too concerned with.

Because the only thing the tetris system really caused me to have to do was open a TP, go back to town, and dump the stuff I wanted to keep in the stash and sell the rest.
Now that was fine if all I was picking up was runes and gems, but if I picked up a couple of suits of armor it was back to town, and don't even get me started on if I was carrying around some grand charms or some such....

A few things that stood out to me:
I really hope that Drognan plays a larger role in D3, he is fairly cool in the book, much more interesting then in the game.
Really has some interesting and even disturbing parts to the book.
Things that I am having issues with though:
1) Diablo was defeated in D1 long before the book began. In fact prior to the book, the wanderer had left Tristam, others had come and ransacked the monastery of all its valuables, and the witch had warned that the wanderer was possessed, which they ignored, and proceeded to travel clear across the world on a treasure hunt for bartuc's armor.
Given the amount of time that would of had to have passed, explain this to me:
A. Atma's husband was dead-killed by Radamant-So Diablo had already arrived.
B. If the sorcerer from D1 was ahead of the Wanderer, he should have already been within the sanctuary.
C. How was Diablo even in the same area? He should have already been in Kurast given the amount of time that had passed. He was ahead of the trio at the begining leaving Tristam?
Just a few honest questions about a truly great story

Another thing I hope we have is an advantage to really loading up on Def. I hate hate hate the fact that you could get a really high def and some monster would ignore it......or that after a while it made no difference.
