I think depending on the rolls you can skip 1 big slot or 2 smaller slots. But yeah gotta factor in the diminishing returns and get as much as you can.

Gearing for ladders ? it is on the front page that existing characters will not be able to play in the Seasons. Everything is new, New character, new stash, new gold, new well you get the idea.

as for 300% faster with loot sharing, your also at the mercy of the loot gods, and at other peoples. I have seen it in the Wizard community where people would rather keep a minor 20dps upgrade "because it's an upgrade" rather than pass it to someone who it would have been a huge upgrade for.

in all honesty, loot sharing does work, but you need to be in a group where people put the group ahead of themselves and this rarely done outside of groups made of friends.
+1, I definitely don't trust random people enough to go with the loot share method. There are people in Rift it Forward who are willing to screw others and get banned over 5 rift keys, I can only imagine how people like that will behave with actual gear at stake. Lying/pretending to never get anything, or just openly refusing to give items because of those "minor upgrades" you mention.

I appreciate the reply, but I cannot sit through hours of videos. I'm sorry.

If there is anything else you can say on the subject -- how you determined the extra benefits from a 1H and the ~1/2% chance of an extra FotH was better than the damage of a 2h like maximus. If you don't feel like saying anything then that's cool... no problem. Thanks for your time.
it's about one hour with links to sections of the video in the beginning, and you can use the seek bar as well. He covers exactly what you are asking, is taking 10-15 seconds to find it really that difficult?

Quote from Dyzlol » I still don't get the love of FoH. It costs a ton of wrath and the damage output doesn't seem nearly as good as Fire Hammers. Do people value it more because you can place it where you want as opposed to the limitations of Hammers?
With Ak's champ up almost all the time FoH's wrath cost is reduced then if you add a cindercoat is allows you to spam and stack dmg even more.. not also mentioning it gives you a lot of mobility more so other builds. Your dmg comes from the stacking of firestarter and causes things to melt. FoH itself isn't your main source of dmg.
Also for blessed hammer you have to stay in melee range a long time to do decent damage (getting the hammers started and keeping it up).

posted a message on How much CDR needed for near perma Akarats Champion?
    Quote from Narrax
You cant just add the CDR percentages up, it does not work additively (since this way what happens if you get over 100%?) but rather CD-time * (100% - percentage of CDR-item 1) * (…. ) and so on (at least I am pretty sure it works that way.

Therefore, for 36.5% effective CDR you will need more than 36.5 percent additive CDR from gear. Check the site posted above to determine how much you will need exactly, it is a very helpful site.
yup that's how it works, some noticeable diminishing returns the more CDR you get.

posted a message on Is t6 soloable without Unity?
Solo T6 is doable but not worth it without dual unity+token imo. I have might of the earth/lut socks and Ik sets(but not the pieces to run both unfortunately). Like you I don't have two unities, but I got to see what it was like before the ancients bug was fixed. With permanent 50% damage reduction T6 was a challenge but not ridiculously difficult. Without it, you can still clear T6 but it will take way too long. Between having to be so careful and gearing/building defensively T4 is better until you get that 50% damage reduction. With the dual unity build you don't have to sacrifice too much damage to run T6 comfortably.

posted a message on If you could unlock all runes for any skill, Which would it be?
I guess for me skills with high cooldown come to mind. Call of the ancients with all runes would be pretty ridiculous (absorb 50% damage, 360% damage per ancient, generate fury per hit, double armor for the ancients so they can absorb more damage for you). And of course wrath of the berserker would give a ton of buffs offensively and defensively with all runes (50% damage, critical hits splash for 300% damage, 80% dodge, 4000+ life per fury spent).

posted a message on Thorns build, LIVE! *Actually "works" Sort of...*
Like he posted above efficiency is not a consideration, just being able to do T6 with bad/easily obtainable thorns gear would be the goal. I voted no in the poll but would consider it if Blizzard buffed thorns a lot more in the future. Unfortunately the thorns we have now is after a "buff" by Blizzard so the chance of thorns being worth it in the future is low.

posted a message on So what does it take to make Light WW barbs to compete against other elements?
Totally agree with you that WW needs a damage buff. You have some great gear, yet if I had to guess it would take you forever to do T6 now that Shard of hate is "fixed." WW damage is just too low, sure it doesn't cost much resource wise but it's barely better than generators. Plus generators proc Thunderfury a lot more (not sure about Shard because it has different mechanics). The only barb spender that is worth it imo is Hota, seismic slam and WW both can't compete and it isn't even close (again imo).

They didn't nerf it's dmg. They probably just messed up the numbers. If it was intended i am sure it would be in the patch notes
I am not saying the damage actually did get lower (never tested it) but it is possible that they lowered it without realizing it. How many times have we seen the patch notes say something like "skill x was not doing the correct amount of damage, now works as intended."

From what I understood from one of the earlier interviews about legendary drop rate increasing over time, it was said that it would only kick in in the more extreme cases of bad luck. Most people (like, almost everybody) would never experience this increase of legendary drop rate, but find loot regularly just from the normal drop rate.

But for those with a really bad streak of luck, say 8+ hours without finding a legendary (although the time was never specified exactly), the chance would slowly start increasing and then reset after the drop.

I've seen more and more people talking about this as if something that was always ticking up though, and phrases like "I hope this Key of Hate did not reset my legendary drop rate ticker". From what Blizz said about this, there is no increase in legendary drop rate, unless you have been without a leg drop for a seriously long time.
I believe you are correct. I don't know where people got this idea that it's like sharpshooter (going up every second until you get a legendary then reset). According to the blue post they will "throw you a bone" only if you get completely screwed by RNG for well after 2 hours.
