Thanks for the repply. Here I link my armory profile: http://eu.battle.net/d3/es/profile/Eranwe-2246/hero/47318854

I can get to 2.84 BP with bow and 2.16 with xbow.
Then definitely stick with the 2nd Etrayu and hit that breakpoint like Shinna1989 suggested. It's really noticeable how good it is, even compared to a well rolled 2h crossbow once you get to that point.

I get what the OP is saying. Even for int characters, if you don't have +all resist on multiple slots, AR can still beat armor (atleast according to the toughness calculation). 100 AR on one slot just seems like it's more than 500 armor on one slot, even factoring in the way mitigation works (where you want a balance of AR and armor). They should buff armor somewhat imo, not "double it" but maybe 25-30% more.

posted a message on WD, a solution for your pets' survivablity in high Greater Rifts
It does need to scale with GR difficulty, and it will. And scaling =/= invincible pets that witch doctors can just set and forget like in T6. They talked about it on the livestream, they want pets to be alive most of the time but die sometimes in greater rifts when the combat gets too crazy. They plan to do this down the line for all pets, not just witch doctor pets.

posted a message on No Lut Socks...what are my best options?
Well not much you can do, except complete Raekor's and or get the Lutsocks+complete Might of the Earth. I know I'm being captain obvious, but Barbs are so dependent on those two sets to be relevant. For T6 and higher greater rifts, IK can only complement one of those two sets it's useless by itself imo. And a lot of the highest ranked barbs only focus on Raekor's or MOTE, they skip IK altogether.

Great to see, and I really hope they leave it alone. The Auction house is gone, it's not like the gold could be used there. People need a ton of gold for enchanting and gems. Enchanting can quickly get up to 2 million+ per roll, and gems cost a ridiculous amount as well. I do T6 rifts with decent gold find repeatedly and it's not bad, but it's a slow and steady climb. Definitely need some bursts like this so I can enchant a lot more without holding back.
That's like... the entire point of the exponentially increasing enchant costs, so you can't just keep doing it. Same with gem costs, so you actually have to play and advance your character rather than be immediately outfitted with all maximum gems. Yes you still have to find the gems, but upgrading them is a factor as well.

If they do keep it this way, I don't really understand it. Makes gold pretty pointless. If they didn't want enchanting to be price restrictive, they'd just reduce the cost of that directly, or increase chances at favorable/preferred stats. This just makes gold everywhere pretty much a non-issue, so why have it in the game at all.

Also going to encourage people to have another stupid set, like in the days of magic find. Say goodbye to more inventory/stash space...
Gold should be "pointless," there is no auction house anymore you can't buy gear with it. They should have fixed the enchanting costs (or the way enchanting works) and gem costs awhile ago, but since they haven't this is a decent solution. And who cares about the switching, some people will do it and some people won't. It's just gold, people shouldn't feel forced to run two sets because again you can't use gold to get gear anymore.

Though even if T6 increases your chance to get a RoRG by 100% it would still be about 2-5 times faster if you farm it in a normal bounty DH Danetta grp.
If they implemented it that way where T6 only equals double the chance of normal yes. But nowhere did they imply it is anything like that. Not saying I know which difficulty is optimal, just saying it's weird people like you are so confident that normal is better when Blizzard hasn't made it clear themselves.
If you look at only RoRG farming time then T6 would need a dropchance that is 6-10 times higher then the normal one to even be on the same level. Obviously I don't know the exact droprates but imo it just can't compare.
Sure, farming normal might not be fun - it isn't for me either which is why I only do as many bountys as I need and I often farm them on higher torment so they are not as boring. But that's not really the point to discuss if you only want to look at the efficiency of RoRG farming.
I'm not concerned with normal being boring and I'm not only talking about T6 vs normal. You are also ignoring the fact that geared characters can do T2+ really fast (obviously not exactly as fast as normal but that is why the missing drop rates are important). This is exactly what I was talking about in my first post. You are quite sure that normal is the best without knowing exactly what is going on (because Blizzard won't reveal it).

yup unless they release the numbers no one will know for sure which one is optimal, and it looks like they don't plan to (big surprise). Most people who argue just swear by whichever one they got more RROGs from, a tiny sample of RNG is not enough to draw conclusions.
T2 or whatever is actually better but not for RORG reasons. You get more loot, more experience, and more gold. It will likely take more time to get a RoRG but that is balanced by the fact that you'll have a much better character overall.
Without the actual numbers you don't know that T2+ is worse for RROG farming, you are just assuming that it is. Yes it's a increased legendary drop chance for all legs and torment only legendaries are added to the pool, but if the drop difference is big enough T2+ can still be better than normal for farming RROG (Assuming the character is strong enough to steamroll T2+). Like phuzion mentions the ratio of cache only legs vs other legs dropping from a cache is also not clear.

I'm with the 2-3 months guess. Once they implement the seasons, you can just regard the PTR as a regular season. Thus, it won't really be "useless" to play!
It's not the same, so technically the PTR will be "useless." When seasons in the actual game are finished all gold/exp/gear is rolled into your account. When the PTR is finished you don't get to keep anything.

Very exciting information, especially for crafting and the monk set buffs. 3000% damage every dash is kind of nutty.

Wonder if they [Crafting Mats] still drop though? I mean, Razorclaw farm T6 for ridiculous gph?

Quote fromthatguy181 I'd hope Blizzard's plans for putting Monks in a better place doesn't involve the Monk struggling to get their end game sets and then suddenly doing absurd amounts of damage simply due to having their sets.
To be fair, that's exactly how Barbs and DH's operate. I guess we have to hold out hope for 2.1 and hopefully get a real "class pass". Dex really needs to be looked at in general, if only for EHP reasons.
Definitely skeptical on the Monk getting a real class pass, though I also hope that it happens. I mean awhile back they said they didn't like how one with everything was mandatory and they were looking at changes without pissing current monks off. They just gave up, and made RoS items unable to spawn with all resist+one resist. When wave of light was really good, they said Monks were "in a good place" then nerfed it later. Fists of Thunder Thunderclap and Mantra of Conviction were really good back then too, both got nerfed for RoS. They did buff some other things to try and make up for it, but they did a really half assed job.

How does your firelight build looks like?
    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/kg215-1130/hero/47945219

It's based off of mannercookie's build but tweaked it to my preferences (I like spamming FoH with cindercoat and I use vigilant for more mitigation instead of healing with wrathful).

How do you rift in party with holy shotgun build?

What stats do you need to aim for?

I have kind of similars gear as you, just not perfect rolled.

I feel like an glasscannon in T6 rifts, so squishy, dies or are close to die all the time :S

    Help/suggestions appriciated.
I agree holy shotgun feels too squishy on T6, but It depends on your group. When MC talks about holy shotgun being better for groups I think he means optimized groups with good crowd control (zpds monk especially). In that case you just need to dish out the damage so embodiment of power works great. I run with DHs and Wizards who focus on dps, not much crowd control or tanking. Running Holy shotgun with them, it would probably require the prophet rune instead of embodiment of power for Akarat's champion. That's why I just run Firelight for both solo and group T6, it's not as effective as holy shotgun in an ideal group but it's more versatile (can stay more offensive with gear/skills and kite when necessary).
