Hey guys, today I discuss (in a Vlog format) my thoughts on botting in Diablo 3. I've been thinking about it for months, but following the correct predictions of many of its upsurge this patch, it's time to give the issue as much press as possible. I talk about its history, 2.3 task automation, clear proof against a number of high level players with no repercussions, what's going to happen if this continues, and the only feasible way for the community to reduce it. Enjoy & discuss!
Hey guys, today I craft up 25 staves on the Witch Doctor in hopes of an upgrade to my Suwong Diviner. The 625 Death's Breath requirement isn't too bad if you can efficiently farm T10 (anywhere from 2-4 hours depending on group/build). However, the pool of available items is sizable, so I was only able to get 5/25 Suwongs, with a single sidegrade and several troll rolls. Only one Ancient out of the bunch, sadly not what I need. At this point I believe saving the bad ones and reforging them is the better way to go if you want Ancient. Enjoy, discuss, and good luck on your crafting!
Hey guys, today I move on to G53. I cleared it (first attempt) in 11 minutes, with some modifications. I took the time to farm and craft about 50 Hellfire amulets (roughly 10/hour) and got a solid Awareness one. This allowed me to drop Reaper's Wraps in favor of Wraps of Clarity (for more damage mitigation) while picking up Blood Vengeance as the 5th passive to have a 'mini Reaper' effect. Guardian was easy and I discuss some positional concepts - clipping projectiles via hitbox extents. Enjoy, discuss, and be on the lookout for the next tier!
Hey guys, today I briefly go over what (in my opinion) are the first steps you should take in 2.3, specifically as we await Season 4 to begin. It goes without saying that bounties are the first order of business, and so I explain the bonus act rotation, staggering turn-ins, why you shouldn't look for the cube specifically, a helpful community, and more. This has a good synergy with using the blood shards you acquire to gamble rare items on Kadala and then upgrade them to get the legendary you're looking for. Enjoy & discuss!
I think the biggest issue with items is balancing around leaderboards. It's one thing to introduce a bunch of OP items for T10, as there's no competition of any sort, but when you have to normalize most things for competitive purposes and (as you said) there's not that much time to mix/max new items, some will be left in the dust.
Hey guys, today I finish up my PTR exploration with another update to the Acid Cloud Helltooth caster build variation. As this will be my go-to in Season 4, I wanted to push a bit higher in grifts and cleared 55 very easily (first try on all rifts), with a non-Ancient Suwong Diviner. There are quite a few changes here from what I showed before - a switch to Focus/Restraint, hybrid poison/cold damage, interesting skill rotations, and more. Enjoy & discuss!
DH isn't 'left in the dust' at all. Standard Nat's build is still SUPER strong and UE6 + Yangs is getting close, maybe even neck and neck with the right rift. It's just that the S4 weapon is garbage, but you can say the same about the barb weapon.
