You will die, no CC, or defense. Not sure if you have enough mana coming in to make up for the increased cost either. Drop zombies for spirit walk or at least grasp of the dead. I think Haunt is only useful for bosses but since you have pure damage focus I'd drop it for a CC or defensive move.

Playing Diablo since 97. I know nothing and having nothing good to say, I be a troll.
Yeah, on paper it's pretty sweet, but I agree, it's not a very balanced build. I should give it more thought. I was fortunate enough to have a lot of time to play the Beta and played every class. I'm really torn as to which class I'll first start playing with. WD is bad ass though, although I'm not a huge summoning fan.
Here's a build I've put together for a bad ass and super powerful WD:
http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/witch-doctor#acedkT!bYW!aYZYcZ
1 - Poison Dart, Splinters: 180% combined dmg. Super fast. Can't complain
2 - Firebats, Hungry Bats: 280% wpn dmg. Really now.
3 - Haunt, Resentful Spirit: 575% + for 12 seconds and then onto the next victim? Perfect.
4 - Soul Harvest, soul to waste: +650 Intelligence for 60 seconds? Yes please.
5. Wall of Zombies, Dead Rush: 445% wpn dmg? you're killing me.
6. Gargantuan, Restless: Just a beast.
Passives: (these aren't in stone):
1. Spiritual Attunement
2. Gruesome Feast
3. Pierce the Wall
Need me Mana.
WD is arguably one of the strongest classes from a DMG point of view. Solid single target and great AoE. Not much Defense here though. Hmmm....
Thoughts?
Btw, does anyone know the actual current numbers on Haunt - Resentful Spirit, since the game guide still shows 0% damage over 0 seconds?
