Gamona interviewed Jay Wilson. There seems to be many revelations to be made about Diablo 3 at BlizzCon this October. When asked if Diablo 3 could be playable at BlizzCon, Jay Wilson said Blizzard wouldn't let him say. At least a third of the Diablo 3 team are from the old Blizzard North team that worked on Diablo II.
It is not certain whether the next installment of Diablo after Diablo 3 will be an MMO, but he does answer Chris Metzen has plenty of lore and knows what direction the Diablo universe will go after Diablo 3.
i kinda hope they don't make diablo into a mmo i'm not a big fan of mmos. i rather have them make another game of the story. i really don't see diablos lore as a mmo either. On earth to heaven...then hell? ugh everquest much! nah don't see it happening

Also, wonder what is the "big plans" he mentions for diablo fans... maybe just a new char? Maybe some item descriptions? Maybe a partial storyline? Who knows

I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.
A(n) MMO after D3 would be great. Personally i think that US$15 per month is too much, they could lower the price but for a Diablo MMO I will probably pay.
*PS: i never know when i have to use "A" or "An" LOL
good news yes but no Diablo MMO. I love the playing style as it is.
You already play as a single character and diablo already has a multi-player, there is no need for blizzard to make diablo into a MMO style game. if anything Starcraft would be made a MMO.
If they did to be honest even though i love the diablo games i would not get the MMO diablo game.

My life is like a dragon, first praised, then hated, now lost.
I smell an MMO on it's way. The Next-Gen MMO is probably World of Diablo.
thats my hope. Blizzard knows best how to create something to keep you for ages and traditionally MMOs keep you... not to mention what Diablo does
i wouldnt be too sure just yet, though. Its too early to say.

Lol, the wait to Blizzcon is going to long if they're already starting to show us reruns of previous interviews...
