This looks so freakin' awesome. Its kind of what I wanted from Minecraft, except its 2D, and it looks and feels a lot better from an Action Adventure point of view.

This is looking to be the decade of 2D revolution, and this game is part of it.

I'm conflicted with this game. Mainly because of its blatant use of minecraft's ideas. If it were the same concept, that is fine but there are just too many similarities between this game and minecraft to have it be "original". I will admit that it does look fun though. I watched all of the lets play videos. It all depends on its availability and cost.

Oh come on. Minecraft is almost genre in itself now. If it tried to hard to make things different, then people would still say it rips off from Minecraft but tries to hide it. He's not hiding it, this is heavily inspired by Minecraft, but is completely different, action adventure based instead of building based.

I mean, I really don't see the problem. Its not like its trying to replicate Minecraft, its a very different game and has an entirely different feel to it.

True. minecraft is practically a new genre of game. but I think it is the lack of innovation of the materials and tools that bothers me. They have added some stuff from minecraft but kept almost all of the base stuff without any changes. work bench, furnace. I think it is things like that.

although, I understand the fine line of making it similar enough so it looks like you are stealing the ideas without giving due respect.

If the game is cheap enough, I will definitely try it. More than $10 and I probably won't.

The price range is 5$ to 20$. Hasn't been decided yet. I doubt he'll sell it at anything above 10$.

Well, what else would you use to craft? Sometimes, there's no sense in trying to do things too differently.

In my eyes, I love that it has similarities with Minecraft because the game looks like it will give me what Minecraft failed to give me. It doesn't stray away from the basic concept I love and expect it -right- in the genre I wanted it to be.

yeah, it seems much more actiony and less buildy which I would prefer.
