Never been a big fan of racing games. Except for Turbo on the Colecovision and that game on the N64 where that chick's voice goes, "Choose your car!" I think it was Cruisin' USA or Cruisin the World. And the song would go, "You've got the beeeeeaaaat, you've got the power. To something something something something the woooooorrrrllld"
And I obviously always had to choose that golf cart looking thing.
I believe the latest NFS will be the series defining game. Unfortunately, EA tends to take 3 steps forward and 2 steps back with every new game. I am surprised they can push a new game out each year though, that's pretty impressive.
I think it's great that they are adding a realistic damage model to the game. I think it will definitely make the game as a whole more rewarding/exciting. I think they are taking it a step back by moving away from the free form gameplay they had before.
This is what I really want from them.
-Free form gameplay much like Most Wanted and Underground 2, only larger.
-True modification, when I add a turbo to my car, I want to SEE it. I want to be able to pop the hood and look around the engine bay. I want it to shine and glisten and look authentic. I know they can do it and am unsure why they havent yet.
-Police chases similar to Most Wanted, not Carbon.
-A garage you can hang out at and look at your cars.
-Interior modification and view. I want to put a custom steering wheel and a carbon fiber dash. Regardless of whether its beneficial to actual gameplay or not, it needs to be there. I want the interior view to look like it does in PGR 3 & 4. It makes you feel like you are sitting in the car.
-Weather similar to PGR4. Not saying it would be easy, but it would be awesome.
They have successfully implemented some of these in the past only to strip them down for the next version. They need to get them all right and make a truly awesome racing experience.
I say within the next couple years, we'll have an incredibly good NFS game.

Yeah I liked the in-car view in PGR3, havn't tried 4 yet.
That all would look incredible in an NFS game. Seeing all your custom gauges and seats/steering wheel. Customized lighting and shit.. maybe even a stereo system that will give you the option of surround sound. (like theres no option initially other than mono, and you can add your own songs somehow..). Idk but I think thats a cool idea lol..

I'm not fan of any racing games. They all suck, bore the hell outta me.

No one can hate Mario Kart. 8 players, chaotic mayhem (redundant:D) is the time of your life.
