Winners
So here we are. The final day of our Diablo III Art Contest. Now comes the tough part.
We received dozens of fantastic pieces of art, and we can't thank you guys enough for submitting such awesome images. Your love for all-things Diablo is truly evident. But in the end, three of the pieces stood out to us.
RUNNER-UP: Connie Tran
Connie Tran's depiction of an enraged Wizard is stunning, to say the least. We adore the way she's in focus, while the destruction around her is slightly blurred.
RUNNER-UP: Daniel Reneau
Next up is Daniel Reneau's incredible depiction of the Dark Lord himself. This stunning piece highlights just how ferocious Diablo truly is.
WINNER: Andrew Teo
Congratulations to Andrew Teo, the winner of our Diablo III Art Contest. This amazing portrait of the Blizzard's heroes readying for battle is absolutely gorgeous, and exudes an impeccable sense of energy and adventure.
The Necromancer Will Appear as an NPC If you read this article from blizzplanet.com they interviewed Josh Mosqueira on Aug. 25th and they said the Necromancer will play a role as either a NPC or possibly a playable character. But we will not know anything until Blizzcon so it is still speculation about using the necromancer as a character but they will have some sort of role.
Vaeflare confirmed it earlier, but there is no harm in saying again. You'll get a chance to meet a familiar necromancer npc, but the only additional playable class in Reaper of Souls is the Crusader. We'll have more information to share about the Crusader in the coming months, but this armored, battle-worn, veteran will be a mighty addition to hero roster of Diablo III. (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)
No Info on RoS' Collector's Edition Yet
We don't have any information concerning the Collector's Edition of Reaper of Souls at the present time, but we'll make sure to let you know if and when the time comes. (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)
Playing Without the Expansion If i buy the xpac and my friends dont, will i still be able to play with them? (Of course, not in act5)
You'll still be able to play Diablo III with players who don't own Reaper of Souls, but there is some content that will be restricted, like Act V and the Nephalem Trials found there. We'll be able to share more info on this as time rolls on, and the details get ironed out. (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)
Jaetch's Pre-Expansion Paragon Leveling Guide
One of our forum talents - Jaetch - released a new video in honor of the upcoming D3 expansion Reaper of Souls and the new Paragon System that is coming with it. If you want to make good use of our play time before the changes hit and you enjoy the Wizard's playstyle, you should definitely watch his guide and leave a comment here, on DiabloFans, or under Jaetch's video on YouTube. Enjoy!
Good video, is the fastest way of getting exp right now. Just recently started searching for the crypt pre-game, sometimes you can get unlucky though and not find it in ten tries. Also Scavenger's Den is good. I usually skip Weeping Hollow but the cave there is pretty good too. One thing about the crypt is that most people just freeze or pull all the zombies immediately and just kill the mothers on first sight, it's annoying since they can spit zombies up to five times and you lose a lot of exp/items on killing them so quickly, especially if there are like five mothers next to each other.
I just do the traditional Fest - Weep - FoM. If I get a Crypt I get one, if not, I use my razor blade by me...
I know this is not for all classes/gear wise, right now my 2nd Barb is at ( 38 Paragon ) in only 14hours. Trying to set myself a new personal record, without goals/challenges, this game would be unplayable. That's what I think alot of people come into this game wanting everything now/no goals etc and end up quitting.
