If the returning members remember my storyline you'll prolly remember that it had two possible outcomes. One where evil dies and one where evil survives. My personal favorite was the evil dying so the diablo series could end in a sort-of trilogy (with exceptions to expansions.) So this first one is Evil Dies. Enjoy...
DIABLO 3 (The First Cinematic)
The game first begins with a cinematic of Baal falling at the feet of an unknown champion. You, then, see Tyrael preparing to destroy the worldstone; At that point the scene changes to a large cavern in hell filled with demons. You see them all shutter at once as they sense the death of Baal. They all know that this means Tyrael will destroy the worldstone. In their leaderless confusion thousands upon thousands of demons begin to emerge from the depths of hell; (all knowing that this is their last chance to wreak havoc on Earth). The scene transitions back to Tyrael; this time throwing his heavenly sword towards the worldstone. As the sword is in flight hurdling ever closer to the worldstone the scene quickly changes back to hell. There is a fast motion aerial view of the legions of demons heading into the portal to Earth. The camera stops at the hellforge and shows one demon attempting to make order out of chaos. He signals for a demon to create an object much like a soulstone using the remade hellforge hammer. After one hit of the hammer sparks go flying and the scene changes back to the worldstone chamber. Tyrael’s sword hits the worldstone causing the scene to change back to the hellforge. All of hell begins to quake and the portal to Earth begins to diminish in size. The newly risen leader of hell looks towards the portal and motions the forging demon to hurry, but in his haste and in the midst of the quaking the hammer slips and hits the nearly finished soulstone into hell’s new leader. A demonic transformation occurs causing all the surrounding demons to panic. They flee from their new leader in fear and head straight for the waning Earth portal. But they do not get far. All of the quaking causes a cascade of rocks to fall upon the fleeing hordes. They are all incrementally destroyed, and at this point the camera switches over to hell’s new leader. His new body begins to glow a dark green color and an aura of soul-reaping surrounds him. His body and soulstone become one in the same and his demonic essence finally gains control of his powers. His aura snatches the souls of the dying demons around him and then he looks to the portal to Earth. He thrusts himself towards the portal with demonic speed. He makes it through the portal just as it’s closing. Once on Earth he announces himself to the remaining hellspawn as the Lord of Chaos and Death. The most evil and demonic laugh commences followed by the next scene. In this scene the camera views Tyrael. He creates a portal to heaven, but before he goes through he receives a divine message. The message states that a new evil has come into the world; An evil greater than that which has ever been encountered before. Tyrael and the unknown champion exit the worldstone chamber together. That is the end of the beginning cinematic.
DIABLO 3 (The Second Cinematic)
The camera views the unknown champion and Tyrael on their way to where the nearest portal to Hell used to be. They see several hundred hellspawn and begin to battle. After a minute or so of battle the Lord of Chaos and Death enters into the war scene. Tyrael shouts to the unknown champion that this must be the new evil which was spoken about. Tyrael begins to notice that every time he and the unknown champion strike down a foe the Lord of Chaos and Death snatches those foe’s souls and adds their power to his own. Tyrael urges the unknown warrior to stop killing the hellspawn and retreat; for this is a battle they cannot win alone. The unknown champion does not listen and proceeds to battle with the Lord of Chaos and Death. The battle does not last long and the unknown warrior is quickly struck down by the new great evil. Tyrael witnesses a terrible sight. He helplessly watches as the unknown warrior’s soul is snatched up by the Lord of Chaos and Death. The new great evil becomes even stronger now that the unknown champion who defeated Baal is added to his own life-force. Tyrael flees from the horrid scene and lands in Harogath to inform the inhabitance there of the new great evil that is beginning to destroy all in its path. Although his news is quite grim he assures the people of Harogath that, “A new champion will arise to face this new great evil...A new champion MUST rise...or all is lost.” That is the end of the second cinematic.
DIABLO 3 (The Third Cinematic)
The camera focuses in on the Lord of Chaos and Death as he and the rest of his hellspawned minions make their way towards Harogath. While taking the unknown warrior’s soul aids to the strength of this new great evil; it also enables the Lord of Chaos and Death with a new ability. He, like the three evil brothers before him, can now sense the presence and current location of a soulstone. He searches for the last one remaining, Baal’s. As the evil forces make their way to Harogath they have a quick run-in with some remaining barbarian warriors. The Lord of Chaos and Death reaps their souls and continues on. The scene changes to the gate of Harogath. You view two groups of villagers quarreling about whether they should leave the newly recovered soulstone in the city or send it away to some other distant land. A conclusion is not reached and a small fight breaks out between the two groups of townsfolk. Then with the slam of a fist the scene changes back to the ever proceeding new great evil. The camera shows the Lord of Chaos and Death at the very gate of Harogath. He hears the constant chatter and yells of the fight taking place within the walls of Harogath and becomes outraged. He utters a demonic cry so loud that all villagers become temporarily deaf. The camera becomes muted and all there is to be seen is carnage and death. The sounds of the slaughter are toned in slowly and the scene suddenly changes to the Lord of Chaos and Death holding what’s left of the village elder in one hand and taking Baal’s soulstone from him with his other. The Lord of Chaos and Death then tosses the corpse away from him and shoves Baal’s soulstone violently into his chest. Blood spurts from the opening of the wound and the Lord of Chaos and Death again lets out a mighty shriek. A yellow flash fills the screen and changes the scene to a new and even more fearful evil. Yet still the Lord of Chaos and Death, he now has access to all of Baal’s demonic powers. The camera again views the Lord of Chaos and Death and zooms in on his demonic face. He smirks and lets out a laugh the same as Baal would have done. That is the end of the third cinematic.
DIABLO 3 (The Fourth Cinematic)
The camera views Tyrael and the newly dubbed champion sitting around their campfire. Tyrael begins to speak, “There is one heavenly prayer I know that should disable the new evil’s aura of soul-reaping. It will render all of the strength he has recently gained through use of his aura inactive. The only threat to then be opposed is the basic demon’s essence. With the demon’s extreme strength depleted the threat should be minimal and should ensure an easy victory. This prayer, however, comes not without sacrifice. It requires the lifeforce of a heavenly entity.” The champion replies, “So it will take your life?” Tyrael responds to the champion’s statement by speaking in a heavenly tongue no mortal man can decipher. The champion looks towards the fire and there is a short silence between the two of them. All that can be heard are the ambient sounds of the crackling fire and little creatures scurrying about. The champion looks over at the lush green jungle of Kurast and asks Tyrael what motivates the Lord of Chaos and Death. Tyrael whispers the word revenge, but not loud enough for the champion to hear over the ambient noises. The Champion, not hearing an answer from Tyrael, asks another question, “Where do you think the Lord of Chaos and Death is now?” The scene quickly changes to the ruins of Harogath. Flames, smoke, and blood fill the screen as the camera pans over to the Lord of Chaos and Death. He and his hellspawned minions decide to take up residence inside the great walls of Harogath. The camera shows the Lord of Chaos and Death slowly sitting onto his newly forged throne wreathed in flame. He, then, proclaims Harogath as the first city to become part of his new Hell on Earth. The scene quickly changes back to the champion and Tyrael around the campfire. The champion questions, “Tyrael?” Tyrael answers, “I do not know.” That is the end of the fourth cinematic.
DIABLO 3 (The Fifth Cinematic)
The camera views Tyrael and the Champion departing for Harogath. Along the path they take to get to their destination they find hellspawn waiting for them. Because of their small numbers in the groups they take up together they are overpowered without much trouble. Then, as they get closer to Harogath Tyrael, in his ability to fly, sees smoke rising from Harogath’s location. Without warning, Tyrael yells at the Champion below to continue along their current path and destroy the hellspawn therein. He swiftly flies for Harogath over the mountain-pass. The Champion again begins to battle and the scene changes to the hell that is Harogath. The defending hellspawn along the city’s great walls view Tyrael making for their location with haste. In their panic they begin to shoot at him violently with their flaming arrows. With each shot missing there is little to no threat posed by the hellspawn defending the walls. Tyrael ignores them and continues on into the heart of the city from where the smoke is billowing. The enemies guarding this area surround Tyrael as he lands. A great white light begins to emanate from Tyrael startling the demons around him. Then, with the muttering of a quick prayer a white flash shines from Tyrael’s body destroying all the hellspawn which had him surrounded. Tyrael continues into the heart of the city. He comes into the presence of the Lord of Chaos and Death sitting on his throne wreathed in flame. The Lord of Chaos and Death laughs at Tyrael as he dodges a wall of flame directed towards him. Tyrael realizes what he must do. He begins to fill the throne room with echoing sounds of prayer. The Lord of Chaos and Death stops his laughing and frowns at Tyrael. He begins to shoot fire and ice in an attempt to silence his praying. The attacks surround Tyrael, but do not injure him as he is surrounded by an aura of glory which creates a heavenly shield around him. The Lord of Chaos and Death notices that his attacks have no affect on Tyrael and calls for his remaining hellspawn to come and aid him. Tyrael lifts his cloaked head and stares at the Lord of Chaos and Death. His prayer intensifies and becomes much more audible; so much that it can even be heard outside of the city. The scene changes to the Champion as he slays a hellspawn guarding the gate of Harogath. The Champion hears the resounding prayer and yells, “Tyrael!” The gates of the city open and hundreds of hellspawn come pouring out. The Champion begins to fearlessly battle each of them and the scene quickly changes back to the throne room. Tyrael arrives at the climax of his prayer and concludes it. All becomes silent...Then, suddenly light fills the entire city, extinguishing all fires therein. The Champion, perplexed as he is, looks towards the heart of the city wondering what has just occurred. Light, rushing out of the gate, surrounds him and all the hellspawn. The hellspawn fall, paralyzed. Still bewildered, the Champion continues on; into the throne room. He sees Tyrael’s corpse lying on the ground before him. The camera switches from Tyrael’s corpse and pans over to the Lord of Chaos and Death. He stares at the Champion, realizing that Tyrael sacrificed his life to end the aura of soul-reaping. He confronts the Champion and launches a wall of fire in his direction. The Champion sees the attack coming and rolls towards Tyrael’s corpse to grab his heavenly sword. He succeeds and deflects the attack using the sword’s holy powers. That is the end of the fifth cinematic.
DIABLO 3 (The Sixth Cinematic)
The Lord of Chaos and Death falls at the feet of the Champion with a plunge of the heavenly sword into his backside. Although the Lord of Chaos and Death is fallen, his corpse begins to quiver and ripple. It turns a dark red color and flames begin to rise from it. The Champion backs away, and in doing so, allows for another demonic essence to arrive. The Lord of Chaos and Death’s corpse explodes, knocking the Champion backwards into a wall. Lava begins to flow from where the corpse was, causing the Champion to flee the throne room. The Champion looks back at the throne room entrance as he runs from the lava and sees a huge wall of fire engulf it. He runs to the entrance of Harogath where the stunned hellspawn still lie and seeks refuge atop a large rock. He stays there until the lava passes, but before it does a large red demon with white horns emerges from the engulfed throne room; Diablo, Lord of Terror. The only explanation for this to have taken place is that the Lord of Chaos and Death turned his body into a hell portal before he died; allowing the free-roaming essence of Diablo to emerge on Earth. The lava dries quickly in the cold weather, allowing the Champion to fight Diablo on solid ground. The scene changes to the Champion running to Diablo. The Champion yells at him saying that evil must end this day, and that he is the one entrusted with this task. Diablo laughs and expels a reddish lightning in the Champion’s direction. The Champion brings up the heavenly sword and deflects Diablo’s attack. He charges towards Diablo with the heavenly sword and lunges it into Diablo’s head. The Champion quickly takes the sword out of Diablo and cuts off his head. Diablo, again falls at the feet of a mere mortal. The Champion kneels down before the corpse of Diablo and vocally thanks Tyrael for his ultimate sacrifice to save a world of mortals. The Champion stands and looks to where he slew the Lord of Chaos and Death. He realizes that by the Lord of Chaos and Death fusing his body into both Baal’s soulstone and the unfinished one that there is no way such potent evil can return to this world.

I know some of this might not make sense, but it’s because the missions fill you in on things that the cinematics do not. To make complete sense out of my story I’ll tell you what your character primarily does. (Chapter one) He/She retrieves Baal’s soulstone along with a search party from Harogath. (Chapter two) He/She leaves Harogath to battle the hellspawn outside the Rogue Encampment which is coincidentally where Tyrael went. Tyrael meets up with your character and assumes you are the new hero he spoke about. (Chapter three) You and Tyrael make your way to the new Kurast Settlement located in Upper Kurast. You battle the thousands of demons coming up from the Durance of Hate to ensure the new settlement’s survival. Then you and Tyrael leave for Harogath to meet up with the people to make a small strike force against the last remaining hellspawn. (Or so the champion and Tyrael think.)
Now, if any of you liked my storyline enough to play a game based off of it. Well, here's a link to a download site where you can download and install my version of Diablo III based off of my storyline. I created it last summer and made it using the Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic game engine. Hope you enjoy it. =)
You can download Diablo III Here|(Filesize = 337 MB)
-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
Alright, I havn't been on these forums for a long time. I do have an update for you though. The link to go and download my game worx and prolly will for a long time. I have it hosted on my brother's website. Feel free to browse the rest of his site if you wish.

"No more than they can we supress the universal wish to guess, or slip out of our own position into an unconcerned condition."
The storyline u came up with is pretty cool but u kind of forgot the existence of 2 powers in Hell. Azmodan and Belial are still undefeated and we havent heared of them since Diablo 1 (from the book about the Dark Exile).
They might think of some new evils in the process, but i think they'll add all 7 forces of hell in Diablo 3 as the main bosses. Could be possible they add some sort of side-quests and stories the way they were in Diablo - Hellfire and give us some really good stuff.
ok this is just a thought i dunno if it would work but it would be pretty cool. Its in the future because diablo was locked away for about 1000 years but now he is back and stronger and when he is released he sends out an emormous EMP (electro magnetic pulse) and it nocks out all of the technology in the world, like fries everything. I'm not too sure about the rest ... What do u think about it!
ok ok listen to this then! Lets just say heaven and hell are battleing for earth! Angels vs Demons but not like cute angels like warrior ones vs sick demons. Humans are caught in the middle and you have to help and win the war agaisnt a bigger badder diablo. But there has to 100's if not thousands of more weapons and armor and other things so that not everyone has the same things. A few different Chars to pick from and each char should had skills that make it able to kill single monsters and groups very well so we don't have so many mfing sorcs. Basically I want everyone to be different so everyone has their advantages and disadvantages!
Yeah, I remember a lot of others mentioning that to me. I decided to keep my storyline as close to a continuation of Diablo II: Lord of Destruction as possible.

Alright, I know I havn't gotten any complaints yet, but there were a few glitches I never bothered to fix. However, I have fixed them. 1.1 is currently available for download. The version number has changed yet, but my host assures me he'll get on that shortly. I highly suggest that those who downloaded my 1.0 version Diablo III go back and download my newest version. A simple changelog would include a much needed readme, a new weapon, and as I've previously mentioned a few fixed bugs.

"No more than they can we supress the universal wish to guess, or slip out of our own position into an unconcerned condition."
I'd like to see the introductory cinematic go a little something like this:
The cinematic breaks out with the typical "Blizzard Entertaintment Presents", along with a low rumbling in the background against a rusted and worn background (similar to the Act cinematics in Diablo II). As the letters light on fire and become brighter, the screen becomes a blinding flash and soon the angle scrolls down to view Mount Arreat. The screen fades into a scene inside the Worldstone Chamber.
Inside the Chamber, the shards of the Worldstone keep falling and soon it skips to a frame where Tyrael bursts out of a huge pile of shards on the ground. He is battered and wounded. He soon falls back down, panting and his wings are twitching among the rest of the wreckage. He leans back and the screen focuses on a large glowing, throbbing shard imbedded in Tyrael chest. Tyrael yells out, "Nooooooooooo!" and the screen fades back to the original rusted and worn background.
Soon a familiar voice is heard. Baal.
"Muwhahaha! The plan is underway! The complete destruction of the Worldstone has Hell's attention, as well as my Brothers'. The barriers between planes are shattered, and our vengeance upon the High Heavens shall be our last." (During this narration, it shows the Legions of Hell in formation, awaiting orders for seige. It also shows the High Heavens - with their innocence unknowingly threatened).
"Diablo walks the Earth, along with his untamed armies from unknown depths. His Terror will once again corrupt the souls that encounter his inevitable presence." (This cinematic shows Diablo marching his armies over the plains of the Khanduras).
"Mephisto also makes his return, this time, off of his throne - threatening the Paladin temples of the East. His army of undead hordes also accompany him in our quest to overtake all realms." (This cinematic shows undead armies ravaging temples and taking orders from the Lord of Hatred).
"Azmodan and Belial have put an end to their stalemate, and have agreed to once again join us in our dominance over the Seraphim and their home in the Heavens. Their Horned Death army is as strong as it has ever been, and they plan to take it to the plane of the mortals." (This cinematic shows Azmodan and Belial marching the Horned Death over the plains of Hell).
"Andariel and Duriel are left in Hell. Our home must be kept safe. Andariel's punishment is to summon the succubi day after day, since her defense of the Monastery was pathetic and weak. Duriel's punishment is to carve out our new fortress, since he allowed the Mighty One to aquire Tyrael's counsel." (This cinematic shows Andariel conducting summoning rituals, as well as Duriel's burrowing talent as he digs the fortress out).
"And as for me, Baal, (screen goes black for a moment) well, I'm just hoping our plan is going to go as planned, muwhahahaha! (screen fades in and shows Baal controlling Tyrael's body and laughing the whole time). And as for the Great Conflict - Evil. Will. Win! (Cuts to a scene of Seraphim rushing towards a legion of demons and just before they clash, the screen flashes and the Diablo III logo comes sailing in with a black background with rapid orchestra music playing in the background. Fades to black. End of cinematic)
yes nice one AcidReign, just not sure about the shard in chest thing, its alright if it leads no where, as in no possible storyline can come from it, we have enough of stones going into people and they turn into something/someone else.

Mission 1: Have Tyrael make his way straight to Harogath before you. Have him attack the evil there.
Mission 2: Destroy the hellspawn leading toward Harogath and make safe the northlands.
Mission 3: Enter Harogath and destroy the Lord of Chaos and Death.
Mission 4: Destroy the Diablo Reincarnate.
The Hell Dungeon and Diablo Reincarnate pix show you a bit of what the game looks like.

Good JOb!
but the download mirrors r not workin!
plllllz fix them!
They might think of some new evils in the process, but i think they'll add all 7 forces of hell in Diablo 3 as the main bosses. Could be possible they add some sort of side-quests and stories the way they were in Diablo - Hellfire and give us some really good stuff.
