Zombie Survival is a tactics based game. Movement is played by turns on a grid and attacks are controlled by dice rolling. Each player will get to customize skills and stats as well as equip and use different items and gear they receive. The object of the game is to kill the zombies before they kill you.
Players
ScyberDragon - Game Master
Junction3 (Marcus) - Yellow
Shatterer - Blue
Kalypso - Green
Italofoca - Purple
Kiserai - Red
Bridge_Burner - Brown
TurboRams - Orange
darkoasis - Grey
We will only have up to seven eight players. If any player drops out a new player may join.
On the grid there are 15 letters and 15 numbers. Movement is based on this grid. When a player moves, they give the coordinates to the place where they would like there character to be. Movement will be restricted by the amount of spaces each character can move.
Attack - To attack a zombie, you simply state the coordinates of which zombie you would like to attack (F,9). The zombie must be within range of your weapon equipped.
Interacting with objects - objects with black borders can not be moved on. Objects with a green/yellow glow can be interacted with. Yellow objects can be smashed open with any character. Objects with a green glow can only be opened through lock picking.
Obtaining items - Items will be found on both dead zombies as well as interactive objects.
Using items - Items can be used at any time and in conjunction with an attack. If you need to heal before you fight a zombie, you just say "Use band-aid" and its effect will take place before your attack.
Trading - Players are free to trade with each other but only if the players are right next to each other or at the end of each battle.
Skills - Each character will have a set of skills that they can choose to level up as they gain levels. To use a certain skill, just say the name of the skill you would like to use. For example "use bash on (x,y)" followed with the coordinates of the zombie you would like to use it on.
Leveling up - Any player who helps defeat a zombie will get an equal share of experience. Upon leveling up, the player will get to add to their skills and stats.
Dying - If you "die" in the game, then your character will turn into a zombie with half life. The other characters mus then kill you as well. You will not have control over this zombie. At the end of each battle, you will get your character back.
Dice Rolling - I will be using the on-line Wizard dice roller found here. All rolls will be recorded.
CHARACTERS:
Classes - Players will have a choice of three classes of characters. Players will have the opportunity to choose their own title such as gang member or fireman.
The Brute - With high strength, the brute was made to smash skulls and get into the thick of the fight. Specializing in melee damage and taking hits, the Brute is always on the front line of the zombie invasion.
Starting Weapon - Wooden Stick/Trash Can Lid
Movement - 3 squares per turn

Inventory - In addition to your characters natural abilities, they will also be able to equip an assortment of different weapons, armor and items.
Weapon: The weapons you can equip will be based on you character class. Brute can equip shields and blunt objects (Ex. Bat, crowbar). Gambits can equip sharp and bladed weapons (daggers, knives). The Marksman can equip any assortment of ranged weapon (taser, pistol). Each weapon will have a damage and range to it. In addition, most ranged weapons will require another item to use it (I.e. bullets).
Armor: Any class can equip any assortment of armor they receive.
Items: Any player is also able to use any type of item. Some items will have an immediate effect while others may last for multiple turns. Once an item has been used, it will be removed from the players inventory. A player may only hold up to five items at once, if another is obtained and the player is full they may dump an item to hold the new one. Items can only be traded to other players if they are right next to each other or at the end of each battle.
Sprinter – Increased Speed/Critical Damage – Ravage
The Sprinter’s increase movement speed can be deadly in numbers. The Sprinter will typically find itself in the middle of a battle within seconds, dealing quick damage to players.
Tank – Increased Health/Defense – Throw
With its increased health and defense, the Tank can survive an all out slaughter. Along with its defense and health, the Tank has increased physical strength and has the ability to throw objects at players from benches to flipping cars.
The Spitter has adopted the ability to spit acid from a distance. In its exchange for being able to attack at range, the Spitter has low defense and attempts to avoid the fight.
Exploder – Kamikaze/AoE DoT – Burst
Destined on a kamikaze mission, the Exploder is a fat, bulging zombie full of acid. It will run into a mob of players, exploding on them, showering them with acid.
The Pummeler typically will rush into battle dealing heavy damage and try to disable player’s ability to respond. Knocking players down and back is a frequently used ability for the Pummeler and has shown to be devastating if left alone.
Jumper – Increased Evasion/Movement – Leap
Unobstructed by most movement impairing objects, the Jumper leaps over cars, buildings, other zombies and sometimes players in attempts to make it into the battle from anywhere on the map. The jumper has higher than normal evasion, which allows them to get into the thick of the battle and back out before dying.
Strangler – Increased Sight/Pulling – Strangulate
The Strangle utilizes its extraordinarily long tongue to pull its victims out of the battle and away from their allies. If a Strangler grabs a player and pulls them away from the group it could spell certain death for the player. However, they can be easily freed with simple damage to the Strangler.
Commander – Buffer/Protection - Dictate
Everyone has a leader, even zombies. The Commander stands at the back of the fight, sending orders to its solider zombies pushing their strengths further. Quickly dispatching a Commander is a good idea, as prolonged time on the battlefield only makes killing other zombies tougher for players.

EXAMPLE:
I am the red square on (B,8). On my turn I first use a band-aid because I am hurt, "Use Band-Aid". I heal 5 hp.
Then I move, "move to (B,7)".
Then to attack, "Use bash (B,6). my bat has 3 dmg on it plus bash give me plus 1 dmg. From this I roll a die (1-3). I roll a 3. I do 3+1 = 4 dmg total The zombie has a defense of 1 so he takes 3 dmg.
Then the zombie attacks me back. he does 3 dmg so I roll a die (1-3). I roll a 2. My character has 1 defense. I take 1 dmg.
(numbers are not accurate to actual game. Just used to show an example of how attacking works.)
On my turn I healed, moved and attacked.
If you are interested in playing please let me know. More of the skills and statistics will be developed after I know enough people are interested in playing. If you decide to play, you will be required to post your turn at least once every three days. If everyone has moved the first day, then the next round will proceed and another three day timer. If you do not move within the three days, your turn will be forfeited. If you do not move within three rounds, you will be removed from the game.
Please refrain from making any characters for now. We still need to complete skills for each character. Please feel free to discuss which ones you are interested in playing.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

It doesn't make sense but he does. Primarily you will want accuracy for the guns and rely on the guns natural damage.
For example: a pistol might have 6 dmg but 3 acurracy. So I roll a die 1-3 and if lands on 1 you miss. Putting 3pts into accuracy gives you a 1 in 6 chance of missing. Guns have the highest probability to miss. Strength will increase damage but you risk missing.

If anyone else would like to join, anyone is welcomed. If you have any questions about how it works or something you are unsure of, please feel free to ask. You don't have to be an expert at these games, you just have to like killing zombies.
As I said before I would like a few more people to enjoy this game and to make it that much more fun. Plus, the more people we have, the more zombies there will be to kill.
If we don't get too many more people. We might try to just do a level or two to see how it's working.

As time rolls on, Scyber and I invest more time and ideas into this game, with high hopes that people will be drawn in and want to play. Recently we created zombie types that the players will have to fight against. All material is subject to change and/or possible deletion. Feel free to give feedback on these as it will probably only make the game better overall.
Regular Zombie –
A typical mindless zombie.
Zombie Hound – Increased Movement/Damage
Infected dogs that fight alongside the all zombies.
Sprinter – Increased Speed/Critical Damage – Ravage
The Sprinter’s increase movement speed can be deadly in numbers. The Sprinter will typically find itself in the middle of a battle within seconds, dealing quick damage to players.

L4D was far too unrealistic for my taste. The fact that all of the zombies moved incredibly fast ruined the entire thing for me. I don't really like most of the special zombies, either.

"There's no doughnuts in Diablo. Oohhhh, I just threw it down. BlizzCon exclusive: no doughnuts. -Jay Wilson
Yeah, like Scyber said, if we can just get a couple more players, we can at least try some of the things out at level 1 or 2. If it works well with less people then we could always play it that way.
