Thanks, cause on the beta login in screen(I just have the client downloaded, not actually in it) the options are really laggy when going from one such as video to sound, it takes a while for it to be highlighted, and my graphics card is better than minimum too for sure.

What resolution are you playing on, and what Graphics card do you have?
I kept trying all the resolution, and in full windowed mode, and in just windowed mode. They were all the same for lag.
I'm sorry to inform you, but HD4200 is worse than x1950 Pro, I would recommend buying a better card if you plan on playing the Beta or the game after... maybe something like HD6670 (it shouldn't be expensive - $70 or $80)...
Hi I'm not really good with technical stuff. Could someone tell me if my system meets the minimum requirements?

How can my graphics be that bad, the computer is only a couple months old and it wasn't cheap. Maybe there will be a low graphics option at release as there is only medium quality as it stands. Well thanks anyways, I guess if nothing changes ill just tread through the slight fps lag or whatever.

The HD4200 was made in 2009, as a low-end graphics card. Although your CPU is still a force not to be reckoned with (as good as the newer i3-2100 SandyBridge).
IMO, buy a better Graphics card. If you want something to be a match to your CPU, buy a AMD Radeon 6850, and you should be able to run the game at full HD all High-ish
I've changed the list to start with Rank 1 at the top for easy viewing. At the time of posting, the RecommendedGeForce GTX 260 is Rank 48* and the Minimum GeForce 8600M GTis Rank 240*
If you are unsure how your graphics card fits in terms of how close to recommended or minimum specs, find yours in the list and see what rank it is relative to the ones cited by Blizzard.
* Make sure to check the rank of the recommended and minimum card yourself as the ranks are subject to change.
Hope this helps answer some people's questions.
Might I also suggest the OP is updated to include whether the recommended specs are likely to offer gameplay at medium, high or max (full) settings (if known) and also if the specs given for the beta are likely to be reduced or raised upon release (if known).
Yeah, I'm about to write an FAQ section about it. We don't really know what systems can run what settings atm though. They specs are likely to be reduced for release, edited the OP to better reflect that :).
...Apologies if I sounded like I was trying to tell you what to do, just saw a lot of the same questions coming up through the thread
Ok, so heres a different question you maybe able to answer - what bandwidth do I need to run 4 instances of D3 at the same time? And what kind of network would I need - I assume wireless would be out?

I'm assuming you cannot enter the same game with 4 of your own characters... nice idea tho
Just out of curiosity, how much do the system requirements usually go down with the actual release of the game compared to the bèta? Is that a significant difference or is it just like you just need a NVIDIA® GeForce® 8600M instead of the NVIDIA® GeForce® 8600M GT? Because, well I've got a macbook and you can't really just switch a graphics card in one of those (I'm not a real hardcore gamer, so I bought this mac to work on :), just so all the mac-haters don't start flaming me :P). My graphics card is the NVIDIA GeForce 320M, so that's slightly below the minimum requirement...
God I'm hoping it'll go down with the actual release :(...
It's hard to know. The thing is they may 1. Optimize the code to make it run better on slower systems and 2. Include additional "switches" to turn off graphical features to lower the requirements.
BUT, according to benchmarks I've seen your graphics card is actually slightly faster or at least equal to the 8600M GT so you should be able to run the game.
Like a lot of people out there I don't currently meet the minimum requirements for Diablo III.
Mainly because of only have 8gs free on my Uni Laptop which only plays SCII smoothly on low settings.
Also in between purchasing a new audio recording PC.
Was wondering what hardware I should be after for a middle - high end machine.
Also if you know of any decent "build-a-computer" websites!
Hey guys, I have a question. Im pretty sure my system specs will easily be good enough to get into the beta but my question is about graphics card drivers. A soon as i saw it was possible to upload my specs i made my windows do all possible updates.
With this full update process it changed my graphics card driver from one thing (which i cant rmemeber the exact file name of) to aticfx32.dll and also changed the RAM from 4gigs to 750megs, this was weird because my card is only listed as 1gig, so both 4 gigs and 750megs dont match it. Obviously the 4gigs was a display bug but i wonder if 750 megs is now its max instead of 1gig?
My card is a Radeon ATI Sapphire Vapor-X HD 5770 1gig GDDR5
Ill list my full specs too, I know its sorta trivial because the card is good enough at 750 megs ram but just wondering if anyone knew why its now showing this or if the driver is bad and i should change it. Thanks

Might want to ask that at dual-boxing.com forums, but from my experience network is not a problem at all with these type of games - you do need the cpu power to run 4x instances though, either on one or multiple machines.
Also, you will need 4x accounts.
Thanks, I will check out the forum but think it will be far too complex for me... i was thinking just 4 PCS in one room, big table, dominos menu I need to know what bandwidth I would need, I only have 1MB, but can get 5, 10 or 20 - I am guessing that 1 is out, 5 probably not enough but is 20 overkill?

Nono, no need to apologize :)! I'm all with you on that. Help and suggestions are always welcome!
