Has anyone played the beta with an older (2010 or prior) Sony Vaio Z. I am using an old Z and am wondering if it will run D3. I know the Nvidia 330m will do fine but im concerned about the drivers. Sony, in their wisdom, have not released updates for their switchable graphics drivers since release and im wondering if this will be a problem
I have tried to download the latest drivers from Nvidia but the install didn't work. The readme section of the driver indicated that it did not support some sony laptops, and the Vaio Z was one of them I got into contact with Sony and they directed me to drivers that were 2 years old
I may have to bite the bullet and buy a new rig... I'd only do such a thing for this game though
@rEDNiNE150 - SRF doesn't ring a bell. I'm surprised more people don't steal this avatar - it's sweeeeeet
@klova - yes that would be awesome... or they could just let us test our rigs on the beta... just saying
granted this isn't very helpful... but a good way to deal with sony laptops is to never buy sony laptops. they do too much to customize the hardware, and they just don't have the support for it.
Thanks guys. I'm trying to get this sorted within Sony's tech dept. Hopefully something comes out of it.
@TheWeazle - These drivers might disable my switchable graphics
@stampy - not directly helpful, but probably the direction i'll be taking in the future.
It would be awsome tho...Just saying...If D3 Realeased some sort of "Can You Run It"
They have, kinda. Those things only work towards the specified minimum and recommended requirements that the developer releases. We know those requirements for D3 but they are only for the beta so far so it's really no use in adding them to those kind of pages until we know the final release requirements.

In the meantime you can do it yourself: http://www.diablofans.com/topic/28525-the-can-my-computer-run-it-faq/
It's pretty much the same process as a "can you run it" site, except you do it manually.
@OP: Sorry, can't help you, I hope you get it sorted though!
