IP - 156: 1 legendary - Lacuni Prowlers
IP - 11 : 1 legendary - The Sultan of blinding sand
IP - 33 : 1 legendary - The witching hour
Again, not sure if I believe, Im just playing and when I find any legendary or set I take note of the server ... seems more like a server variable then anything else ... I already tried this in other servers before like 78, 99, 97, 74, 27,21 during the last week and as you can see I found nothing ...
and in one day I find 3 legendary? I dont think it is all about random, but I dont believe it is about the server IP, some variable exists ... we need to find out the secrete of legendary drops

First of all, you didn't. You did not provide any real statistic analysis of the matter. I have posted some of the steps you needed to do a few pages before, you never noticed.I know how to do hypothesis testing. I know of probability theory and of the implementations in computer programs since i studied these things. And since i studied these things a can see that your arguments have no basis. Also, there are various arguments in this thread that you simply ignore.
If you think a lot of the ppl that read the topic is just gonna sit down and scroll to over 100 page's of statistic's with IP's and item drops i think u are very wrong here Mr.

Why didn't they fix it? They are blizzard it took them More than 1 Month to fix the Chest Exploits, The Immortal Barbarian Exploit, the Immortal Wizzard Exploit and bunch of other exploits or bugs. (For each of them it took them 1 month after patch and patch to find and fix).

How many items did drop for those that agree with you and those that do not.
How many of all items dropped were 63.
How long did they play on the different servers (any observation bias?)
Much more.
These are all information one could extract out of a well set up statistics.

B ) The Amount of 63's per run from IP 209.72:1119 (example) for more than 50 runs.
C) And how many runs they did on Low Ip's and High Ip's to check out if there is a Difference between the loots but i will say it again, ppl don't want to scroll down around 100 pages of Statistic's (they are a lot more than 100 pages of info i have collected).
ZFPuhi, you're probably right, most people won't read your data if you post it up online, but someone will, namely myself, OwnagerD and others. This guy and his army of data collectors and analysers have gone through and basically almost completely figured out how magic find works in Diablo 3, with minimal information from Blizzard collecting several thousand data samples. If you post your data up, I'm sure Cyeron and others will also be interested in what you have to share.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, Cyeron puts his data up to everybody to see, because he's open to discussion of his theories.
As a programmer, I find the likeliness of this theory to be pretty low...
But since it doesn't take much effort to try, I've been only playing on a small range of the theoretical "magic servers".
Before trying, I clocked roughly 30+ runs of Act3 on patch 1.04, and found 0 legends.
With trying, I've only done 5 runs so far, and found 3 legends.
Now, by NO means is 5 runs enough evidence for statistical purposes... but comparing 0/30 to 3/5 makes me not mind taking the few extra minutes to locate a "magic server" each run.
man I hope this is false. I tested this and for some reason I got a legendary/set drop every time I played in 44, 74 and 119. I would like to believe it's just a weird coincidence or something and blizzard didn't limit the drops to certain servers.
I have been testing this theory for about two weeks now , I have 190 magic find on my character , I run act 3 inferno and this is what I have so far:
There is a bit difference in the number of elittes/champions between servers, I tried bolth even and uneven numbers under 98 and a few over but in some I found significantly fewer bosses compared to others.
I had legendaries and sets drop on some runs of 74 , 76 and 64 ip servers but I had runs with none watsoever , so I assume that's where the magic find works it's magic.
The average item level seems to vary from server to server , on some level 63 items drop from nearly every elitte and on others I hardly get any 63's at all.
I certantly think there is a big difference between servers but from my experience in game I can say that on these "loot servers" there is no such thing as a guarranteed legendary or set item.
It's more like : ip server determines the average item level drop per champion + the number of champions and goblins on the maps , magic find is where the legendaries and sets are rolled followed by rares and so on and lastly the item roll when you identify.
That's what I think based on what I've experienced in game.

I found 5768 legendaries on one run, it's fact because I said so. Oh and it was on one of your "servers" that your not supposed to find anything, your theory has been proved wrong by "appropriate" scientific data by your definition OP.

hi zealot, i've tried it kinda worked for me in the beginning but then it start to not dropping legendary does it still work? and normally where do you farm? only dept1~3 and areat 2 then areat core + azmodan? if no legend then leave?
Just made a account here cuz I love diablo and I think this is an interesting topic. Anyway I have been testing this out for the past week on all different double digit even servers. While I haven't gotten anything that sold for 100 million+ I seem to be getting legendaries more often ALSO I have gotten four 6 prop crafting patterns this past week and prior to me not doing this I had gotten none at all and I have seriously farmed alot since release. I only took maybe 1 break from the game and that was just only for about 2 weeks. Gonna still be testing this because it doesn't hurt and I'm pretty sure it's not a bannable exploit.
Got a question though... I see people saying they do multiple runs on same servers. My question is every time you enter a game and you do the command prompt netstat -n. Is that when it resets the server or does the server reset everytime you enter a new game?
What I mean is if someone says they do multiple #68 runs do they search for a #68 game finish the run then search again for #68 or does each game you make stay on #68 till you do the netstat -n command again?
Every time you leave a game u leave the server too, so when u join a new game u join a new server and u need to re-type Netstat -n in the command port.

The numbers 209/210/211 aren't so Impo, cuz it's already hard to get to the Ip's so i don't keep searching for the 209.210.211 ip's before the 2 digit numbers.
