1) Blizzard has officially stated South Korea is not the limiting factor in Diablo 3's release.
2) They removed RMAH features to get Diablo 3 through the GRB faster, so they could potentially patch it in later.
If number 1 isn't the case, why would they do number 2? If there's so much left to polish/redesign/etc, why would they go through the trouble of submitting an altered RMAH?
I think that's grounds for a discussion, though I apologise if this point has been brought up before =)
They didn't remove it to get it through faster, they HAVE to remove it to have the game in SK at all. They are a business and SK is a huge market, as far as the GRB is concerned atm, it's either no RMAH or no D3 at all.
From what I understand though, they withdrew the old RMAH from the rating board before it was rediscussed, simply to get it through faster.
Something like that. Blizz initially submitted D3 with ALL the RMAH functions, then when GBR asked for more material, but Blizz then simply gave them the RMAH without the cash-out function (maybe cause they sensed GBR is full of shit).
So yes it will seems as though they did it to get it through faster, since the original had the cash-out funcion and would probably have taken longer for the GBR to approve that, cause the cash-out function is really the only "gambling" aspect of the RMAH that might be considered gambling eventhough the whole RMAH is totally legal...
I wrote that kinda confusing, just ask if you think it was written in a shitty way. :Thumbs Up:
