in Diabo 1 gold was extremely important (since everything was so damn expensive)

"You are like a rose in a great rose field. Each rose is so beautiful to me. But if one dies... I can still look at many other roses..." God of Darkness.
i didnt think so, because you could dupe, i always duped in d1, and at first i was mad it wasnt in d2 but then i was glad
It was better in the first one just to dupe Arkaine's Valor or Griswold's Edge then sell them. It was slightly easier to dupe than the gold and they sold for 10500.
i like how the system is now in d2.... it actully takes work to get good items. i think if gold is the currency i wont even play d3 more then a year
playing WoW has taught me something. i hate gold. i hate currency. I do not want to have another game where i have to grind daily quests to keep up with consumables and repair bills. that would be awful. thats just my opinion thought and all odds are i would play anyways even if they implemented an economy like WoW's. Would we also run into BoE/ BoP items? and what about crafting will there be professions to go along with the gold? i dont see how we can get gold to be worth anything without adding parts of wow that i dont like
Such as WoW, they should make more different kinds of currency. Maby each Act you evolve too has different kinds of cash. Or just as i said before, have a bad kind of money, good kind of money and a high quality kind of money. haveing it just kept as gold is kind of boreing to me.

I told my wife that a husband is like a fine wine; he gets better with age. The next day, she locked me in the cellar.
My only problem is when you slay a monster...how some can hold more than realistic...like 16,000 pieces of gold from a spike fiend ....
I don't see why an animal should be holding gold, or any item, at all for that matter, unless it was like a quill or a tooth that's a part of the monster itself.

well what they could do is maybe have the monster actually holding the weapon. like lets say a sword. so the omnster would be attacking you with a sword. then when you kill him he drops the sword. but the problem with that is they would have to have the wepon apper on the monster and that would take up even more space probably. lets just say there holding the weapon and using it. (doesnt really work with monsters like spike fiend but what ever)
