I spoke to a few physics profs. today about this and got mixed reviews. It seems there will need to be quite some bit of analysis before it's widely accepted.
I'd love to see the faces of the scientists at CERN who first took a look at the measurements when that happened.. Talk about rocking your world. True or not.
I don't know what the hell you guys are talking about. I'm just saying it's big news and getting excited about it because Sheldon Cooper is gonna be hilarious when he hears about it.
plus, i think there needs to be more work to actually prove he was wrong, and also, who knows if he was even right in the first place.
Isn't science just a theory that best explains a situation until it is changed by further proof and newer theories? Science is (IMO) the most accurate form of knowledge we have but its never the full truth, it's built upon.
Back to the OP, crazy stuff indeed. Will be interesting to see if this can be duplicated.

By travelling faster than light, time goes backwards. This would break cause and effect. A man could die before they were born. Diablo III could be released before it was developed and so forth.
Now you've got me interested. Flying to CERN right now to get this research going.
Not that I care much about Physics, but this is a pretty big deal.
big big deal.

I don't like where this is going.
No it's not..
Theory
Anyway, as to the op, I want more studies about this, but if this is true, it may just rock the entire world. Excited!
What is true today, may be wrong tomorrow.
