I take no credit for this and am simply posting it here so Diablo fans can see this game exists. Haven't played it yet and am DLing ATM. BloodLine Champions Article
It is too hardcore for me. I am unable to coordinate more than 4 active skills in a short period of time, so this is not the game for me
It does not feel like Diablo at all, trust me. It is more hardcore, difficult, etc. It is an e-sports game. The only thing they share in common is that both are based on skillshots instead of targeted skills.
It just finished Dling so I am gonna try it out now. If it is hardcore and difficult then it might suit the more high end PvPers of Diablo which is perfect for me.

Remember the String of Ears
"to the worm in horseradish, the world is horseradish."
I'ma check it out, I admit that I'm more lenient to Euro/Asia ('cept for Square Enix, Konami, Capcom, and Nintendo) game developers than North American ones, but let's see how it goes, gonna go dl it right now.
Having just played it for a night, I'd say I'm really enjoying this game. Though my computer sucks (my new one hasn't arrived yet) and I can only play on the lowest settings, the game is still fast-paced and fun.
As for having multiple abilities, the great thing is that it doesn't hinder you if you're a MoBA player (DotA, LoL, HoN, etc.), you really have only 3 spells and an ult, a move spell which is hotfixed on your spacebar (like a blink ability), and 1st and secondary spells which serve really as basic attacks, such as knife attack or fireball.
And even more, the whole gameplay on combat is all cooldown based, there's no mana or stress on getting mana pots.
It's an arena game, pure and pure. It's nothing like DotA or any variations of AoS, nor is it a Diablo 3 PvP clone. It's a pure arena game.
Yes it is, but the way the characters use skills, move around, even the amount and type of skills they have, and the wide variety of characters to choose from remind me of DotA. Perhaps I should have added "looks like DotA: Arena Combat"
Way character uses skills/abilities? There is no auto-attack, it's all about aiming with your cursor, and everything is CD based.
Way character moves around? I wasn't aware in DotA, HoN, or LoL that you move by the WASD configuration...
Wide variety of characters? Sure if you call just barely over a dozen characters superb variation.
DotA: Arena? Did Valve scrap DotA 2 and went with Arena?
I have been looking into this game for a while, a lot of arena players from wow are playing it. Another site dedicated to wow arena ran a competition on their site for the bloodline champs beta. I plan on having a go when i get my new comp next week.
