Is that your first city on that island? Cause all the lumber mills on our islands are already at a 20+ level. You should move to them. No need wasting lumber on developing a sole island.
Our leader Canadian'd out on us. If you wish to join an alliance, your best bet will be to join Demolay's latest one. I'll be in it shortly enough. I think he just has yet to accept me. And then anyone else who wants to join there can as well.
woot yay. i was wondering, how active are you guys on gamma? maybe in not paying attention but it seems that you guys are focusing mainly on other servers.
I'm definitely active in Gamma. But my account for the most part manages itself. I don't have to check in as often because I have so much wine in my cities at a given moment and I'm usually just saving up enough marble for major upgrades. And sometimes I'll also log in and purchase some Gunsman to gradually raise my MS. But if any of you guys need stuff just ask me.
Finally got my second city up, and then it got attacked.
What a bastard.
Making mass amounts of swordsmen and slingers right now, gonna spy on him and pillage his ass off.
But anyways, finally getting a decent economy up, need to expand to a wine island though, getting rather hard to constantly order up new shipments of wine to supply my capital.

I'd be willing to help get you started. Unfortunately I'm as willing as I am apprehensive because I see a lot of people start Ikariam, ask a ton of questions about it, I may spend a lot of time answering those questions, and then eventually they lose interest in the game. Ya know what I mean, string bean?
*coughs*
I'm still going ^^.
Slowed down pretty hard for a while though, due to lack of internet.
But now I'm back at it, and preparing for a pillage.
Guy I'm planning on attacking has 10 swordsmen and 23 phalanx.... not too sure if I should go for pure offensive power with swordsmen, or mass slingers to have a lot of stamina.
But yeah... must get quite frustrating when the majority of potential players all lose interest after investing time and effort in them :/.

I'm off in the middle of fucking nowhere.
Checked how long it would take to get near your island, and it's well over 15 hours.
Might set up a halfway town between me and you guys, so I can send aid and whatnot if the need arises, also so you can send stuff to me easier if you so choose.
And I'm actually doing quite well for resources right now, only thing that comes to mind is wood, I don't have the people to spare to harvest it, and nobody seems to be selling it. Main city is at 44,59 is you can spare any.
And also, that attack went horribly wrong.
Lost the bulk of my forces to his phalanx, turns out he had a wall at 70%, which led to unbearable amounts of defense.
Huzzah, third town up and running.
And btw, does anybody need some sulfur?
Seriously, 9000+ surplus here, and there are no fucking buyers.
So if anyone needs some, I'll pitch some your way.

Actually I would suggest you relocate your third colony towards our "stronghold" It's only the first one that takes time. after that you fold your other colonies and rebuild them in the area. I would think you should be able to relocate your three colonies within 2-3 days and have them back to their current strength within a week and a half.
You could benefit from our resources as well as our protective strength to guard you from pillages. You would also benefit from the developed mines on our islands. We in turn would gain from having an alliance member filling up the empty slots on the islands.
We've gone through the process. Believe me when I say it wasn't fun but we're all the stronger for it. Your initial move could happen overnight while you were sleeping and you wouldn't even notice it.
That was me. Actually I think it's time I change my name back on Gamma. Since I'm really not worried about Deos anymore.
I see from the Highscroe that Deos is not with his former alliance and is gone independent. His MS score is still a respectable 9,400 and he's still #6 with a bullet just not with an alliance. Did I miss something?

Sold it at 5 bucks a pop, but when they buy all 8000 of them at once, who fucking cares.
*is giddy*
Anyways, about this whole relocation process, how exactly does it go down?
Jesus, just got my second alliance invivation.
EWA and NoT...
