I've had a disease with a very long name for the past week, and so I finally got some penicillin. Now the good news is that I got an excuse to not take a step outside of my room since it's so damn sunny outside all the time.
Now that is a positive way of looking at things that suck.
Bashiok - Blizzard Representative - 08/01/2011 -"So how many skill combinations are there now? Well taking into account 6 active skills, all the rune combinations, and 3 passives we currently expect each class to have roughly 2,285,814,795,264 different build combinations."
"Hey, I thought you'd like the witty irony of grub-on-glowie violence!"
I've been reading blue posts and I have to get this out of my chest, I don't usually QQ over the way blizzard handle things but this particular thing makes me cringe every time I think about it and I really need to share it so you guys can help me overcome my frustration: a little bit of my soul dies every time I read "our game philosophy"!!! there's no philosophy on games!! there may be models, ideas, objectives, understandings, I'm even willing to accept "paradigms" (I'm starting to hate that word lately) but philosophy is a big NO... at least no in the way I understand the word... @Trombone That was amazing! Reminds me of how good their music was too. I've not heard that in ages!
Finally did some grouping in Diablo last night! Ran into Slayerviper and we went after the butcher. Turns out, I still pretty much suck, but not so bad that its embarassing, if I'm playing with someone patient. LOL!
Looks like after 1.0.3, and the hotfixes that came before it, grouping is definitely more enjoyable than it used to be, and can make the game feel a lot less repetitive.
Also the repair costs have forced me to think about tactics a lot more, and I'm moving away from my death-flop-to-victory strategy that I have accidentally fallen into since entering inferno.
quick question, does playing in group affect the drop rates? cuz last night I was playing in a party and I didn't find anything worth keeping, not eevn for the AH, I salvaged or vendor most of those things... or is it just a RNG coincidense?
I saw that thread, I was eating popcorn while reading it
I can't say anything about loot though, I don't like the math approach to a game, I only check that stuff when I die too often.
I was playing single and loot was as always, then I opened the game and when I got a party it seemed to drop the quality of the loot no so much the amount... meh, bad luck I guess
