1. Health orbs would likely require code editing. Brother Laz is not into code editing.
2. would require code edits and Brother Laz is not one to go into code edits. I think it would require a lot of code edits and would likely cause other issues with the game.
3. Maybe possible by using a state and a special aura. I do not know if Median has any states left. Otherwise it would require a code edit. Unless you are talking about some sort of leach.

On Strike and supporting Fallout 4 Mod Makers
Some fallout 4 mod makers have had their mods stolen and uploaded and downloaded on Bethesda's site for the Xbox One.
When you are done with that mod you can try other mods by going to Phrozen Keep (d2mods.com)
Thanks, but in all honesty, it took me a decade of D2 to look at my first mod....
Remind me in another 10 years or so.....lol
Seriously, for someone who's never tried a mod before, and with such an extensive remake, this is like playing D2 for the first time all over again. Until about 2 weeks ago, I didn't even know mods existed, and having tried Median XL, I'm probably gonna be booked up for a while..
I might even wanna just go ahead and cancel that WoW membership...lol

Lead singer of Evilution, Diablo 2 addict for a decade and goin strong.
I wonder if it may be some sort of issue with the game trying to access a file that the OS is preventing.
Meh, thanks for trying but I'm just giving up anyway. I don't have the patience to get anywhere if I can't test the class and thats another issue with the mod: No damn way to cheat and even get a feel of things. So I already lost interest.
Brother Laz has been making mods for a long time for D2. Median wasnot his first project. If memory serves me right he started on Median back in 2005. There has been many changes and in many ways it is not the same mod as it was then.
The amazing thing is he did all this without editing the code.
Take note the mod making community is quite helpful. The community isnot that large now.

Loved this mod. Played it for a year with a necro. Very fun build was using the summons with the totems so they did crazy damage. I also had the two skills that you had to get from the quests.
Funny thing about popularizaing mod thru making it overpowered and less difficult. My experience showed that the easier the gameplay is, the dumber the end users. Good thing I don't have to SELL it, so I don't really care about the popularity and can concentrate on the quality instead of flashy effects.
I think if people don't play a difficult game because the experience is not fun enough by itself. Balancing it well and creating satisfying rewards for battle itself would do it. D2 seems to be created as a pure grinding game from the start, so there's no real satisfaction in killing, unless you're about to nuke some uberboss. Those are the consequences of the initial gamedesign.
Well, since the post is here, I may as well seek help.
I DL'd this some time ago, and since then, got bored with it and deleted it completely. However, the realms are still on my normal Diablo game, and after Reinstalling THAT several times without success, I'm at a loss. Because of this, I think it is the reason why I can't use the 1.13, for whatever reason, and it's frustrating to not be able to participate in the beta 1.13, to say the least.
Anyone know how to fix this?
(I also made a different Diablo folder for Median when I downloaded it, which failed.)

- Health orbs,
- 1234 as skill buttons instead of potions,
- abilities that can be used to regenerate/steal mana from the enemy.
I'm not a modder and have no idea if that would be impossible to do, but it would seem to be pretty fun.
