Yeah I wouldnt get to excited guys, guaranteed this game isnt coming out till 2010. Quit worshipping a game that won't come out for more years to come.
Stupid how blizzard just released all this new d3 shit now when its not coming out for years.
Typical Blizzard entertainment. Fucking jokes at that company

Blizzard is a genius company. They know how to make money. I would think that Diablo III has been in production for quite some time now. Who knows they could have started work as early as 2003. I am betting it will be released in the next few months. The release date will eventually be posted on the actual website or in the next Game Informer. We all know Diablo III is going to make the cover of the next issue. I mean sure Starcraft II was announced a year ago and it still hasn't hit shelves, but Diablo has to. We have waited long enough already.
I think the art style and graphics used look quite amazing. the gore screams diablo and the enemies look beautiful. And of course, the gameplay is just as I hoped it would be. Im really amazed people are disappointed with the look of it. This is really a dream come true for me.

I didn't want the game to be full 3-D at first, but now that I see it I wouldn't want it any other way. Especially since they kept the isometric view which makes it feel even more like its predecessors.
I tought so ...
D3 is maded fast between some releases of wow...
Graphic is outaged ... ( same graphic coud be seen in games developed in year 2000-2001 ),
too low monster population, cartoon like textures.
pfff ...
Blizzard dissapointed me again.
If this come to final release as it is right now - this will be one realy not great game.
I even think that Blizz did not create a new engine , but use just the same engine as wow cartoons ( aka games for 12 y old and below kids ).
No darky , no scary atmosphere , just a regulary fast maded game. - just like Russians build them - 1 engine, and then - every day - new game.
That sux blizzard , that's sux ... i expected more from you !
What the HELL are you talking about? I don't get why everyone is comparing these graphics to the graphics of WoW.. they look nothing alike IMO. Obviously Blizzard cannot fill the game with extremely hi-poly count models or else you would need a 5k - 6k$ rig to run the game! I personally think the game looks great.. and nothing like WoW.
The monster population seemed just right.. actually.. it seemed like it had a GREATER population than in D2. Remeber D2.. where you could run around for 5 minutes without finding a single mob? Doesn't appear to be like that in this new game. Even if the population of monsters was low and I am full of it.. realize that this isn't the final release.. it was just a demo to show you how the game works. I think that last boss fight was pretty awesome. You see this giant beast emerge from this pit and.. wow. I am totally stoked
No dark and scary atmosphere? What do you call that first area, Disneyland? You had people exploding and worms flying out of them.. you had people blowing themselves up.. it was dark and dank.. I know that that wasn't even the darkest of places. What do you think of Lut Gholein, then? The vast majority of Act 2 takes place outside in the desert sun.. definitely not thee dark and scary Tristram you remember.. I applaud Blizzard for finally making Sanctuary and actual world than just a bunch of floating islands (like I described yesterday). If you look at our world.. it various a lot. The sand dunes of the Sahara have completly different atmosphere than the pine tree filled rain forests of the north.. THIS IS A WORLD.. there are going to be different climates and people. Deal with it.
As for recycling and engine? Blizzard STATED that they created a new game engine JUST FOR THIS GAME. They aren't using the 'WoW engine' like you are insinuating.. this is a brand new game. So PLEASE stop bitching and go read some facts before you start moaning and bitching about how much Blizzard has failed you.

I agree but please blizzard tone down the colors a bit, I want that scary creepy feeling
from previous diablo games

Dude thx for the info I hadnt realized that Blizzard created a specific engine for this game!!
Wow I am amazed, does any one have inside info on a release date!! LOL:D
Thankyou Blizzard. I LOVE you. This is the Best news of the year. I've waited years and years for this as has everyone and I screamed like a banshee when I found out and ran up and down the house like a mad woman possessed. I have watched both cinematics and they definitely don't disappoint. The Witch doctor looks amazing as do the graphics, style and character of the game I've seen. I am so excited I could explode. Pre-order imminent. I loved the humour with Deckard Cain and am pleased to see him again. Like someone said....the look is Diablo through and through and i'm glad you clearly haven't ruined it. Blizzard are the BEST ever.
THANKYOU TO EVERYONE MAKING IT HAPPEN

I agree. As I stated before Blizzard knows how to make money. Therefore they toned the graphic down. They made them so they were good, but they also made them so that everyone with just a decent computer can buy and enjoy the game. WoW graphics suck anyways the two shouldn't even be compared.

this i think is what i was most worried about, the isometric view...... I am so very pleased to see they kept that traditional style for D3. Although i was still fairly confident considering the ties they kept with SC2.

You can clearly see on some of the concept art dates back to 2004... I think this game has been in development for a long while... Maybe we'll get it sooner than we think.

I know it. I was worried that it was going to look like Neverwinter Nights (a good game in its own right). However I don't like constantly shifting cameras. Isometric ftw.

Haha, Well if you do need a shrink I am sure Adria will suffice (if she makes an appearance in D3).
